Excellent breakfast, helpful waiters. Unfortunately the parking meter two streets away needed us to change venues during breakfast.

Lack of parking is the biggest reason for not staying there. Street parking is varied and length of stays vary and clash with check in check out hotel times. Hotel staffs poor English meant we didn’t get adequate helpful explanations

Have stayed here 15 times but unfortunately at breakfast this morning the usual lovely friendly lady mustr have been off and a very cranky lady made us feel like we were inconvenient for her to be there. Breakfast was until 10 am and we arrived down at 9.25. She told me where to sit in the empty breakfast room and then asked our order before we were even allowed to take a seat. Not what we have come to expect from this usually friendly hotel. Hope the hotel will take this feedback and act on it.

Hotel was great, when we arrived the guy behind the desk was very helpful. unfortunately in the morning at checkout the girl started speaking to another (I assume worker) in a foreign language while still sorting my bill. I thought this very rude. Having paid there was no thsnk you or do you want a receipt just the continuation of her conversation. I think they need to work on staff with a better command of the English language and work on customer service. A shame because it's a very nice hotel just let down by the little details, it did spoil the stay a little.

We like The Angel Hotel very much, particularly as it is located close to the town centre. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is very good for breakfast, which is cooked to order. There are good choices on the menu and everything is well prepared.

The only thing we would like to see is an extra chair in the room (although I appreciate we should probably have asked for one during our stay). Someone always ends up having to sit on the bed! The car park is small, but we have so far managed to find a space each time we stay at the hotel (we have stayed here several times before and will do so again).

There is good parking right and you are right in the town so you then have access to all shops, bars and restaurants. The room was a good size, the bed was all excellent with a choice of pillows available in the room. The shower was really good - waterfall as well as hand held. The staff were lovely. We were a large family group meeting up and Muktadir was very kind and accommodating when we came back after our dinner and stayed in the bar until quite late. Breakfast was a good mixture of help yourself and order fresh and the coffee was very strong. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel. Clean and so comfortable, we had a very spacious executive room. The bed was amazing. All of the staff were super helpful. Breakfast was perfection, and plenty of it. It is an excellent location very close to town with plenty and shops and restaurants around.

The heating was a bit hard to control and it was quite hot at times. A little noisy in the front rooms but it didn't bother us. Squeaky floorboards from the room above. The toilet position was a bit tight! Parking was £12 which was a bit expensive but then most of Leamington charges by the hour anyway so works out cheaper.

The executive room was excellent, size, decor, layout all good. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Excellent location for visiting Leamington Spa and other areas.

I am able bodied and struggled to exit the over bath shower as the bath was slippery, and nothing to hold to help me get out. The bath had shaped sides so you needed a long stride to get out and that is when my foot slipped. A mat would have helped to stop me from slipping.

Great location with car park. Beautiful large room in a traditional building. The lift was a bonus. Requested a large bed with shower on the ground floor. We were given a fantastic room on the 2nd floor near the lift. Room was huge. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Good variety both cooked and uncooked. Considering its location, our room was very quiet and had a really good nights sleep. We would definately return to this hotel.

Be aware that there is a parking charge of £12 per night. We were ok with this due to the location of the hotel.

Beautiful room on the first floor, we booked an executive double and the room and bathroom were spacious. Looked newly decorated.

Unfortunately our room was located on the corner of the hotel opposite a very noisy pub. Didn't trouble us too much and it did close on time, so as long as you weren't seeking an early night this could be overlooked. Charge for parking was a bit high given you are already paying to stay at the hotel. Coffee at breakfast was virtually undrinkable it was so strong. We did ask for a fresh pot but this came back the same. Despite these niggles we would look to stay here again should we return to Leamington.

Initially we experienced a less than helpful staff member and the rooms we were allocated were really not suitable. After the first night I had a discussion with a lovely member of the reception team who was really helpful and sympathetic about our experience. By the afternoon of the same day alternative (excellent) rooms had been arranged and we moved. The hotel is lovely and this was our second stay with family located in Leamington so we will be back and next time I will be more specific with our requirements to avoid disappointment.
