Very friendly staff. We were staying overnight at The Lazy Pug as we were attending a wedding about 10 mins away. We arrived at 11am and the rooms were still being cleaned so the owner Boglan kindly gave us a cup of tea whilst we waited for our room to be available. Clean room, tea coffee making facilities and wonderfully clean en suite. Breakfast was very good and very courteous staff serving us as we checked out.

This is a pub, so when we arrived back there at 11.15pm after the wedding, members of the public were smoking outside the back door where we had to enter the building, which was a bit intimidating.

The staff were absolutely amazing and super friendly. The food was super tasty and the portions are huge. The rooms are so comfortable and are very modern. There is a minibar boasting free water, aswell as beers, cider and wine which is chargeable at a fair price. The Free WIFI is fantastic and super fast. The bath/shower facilities are second to none and have complimentary toiletries, aswell as towels and robes/dressing gowns. There is a lovely, relaxed vibe in the bar/restaurant downstairs and a wide range of drinks available. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic and sets you up for the day ahead. There is free parking for every guest/s staying at this wonderful establishment at no cost. The location is perfect with lots to do within walking distance. I stayed here last night for the first time, but will certainly be staying here every week going forward for work as it is absolutely amazing, especially for the price. I really can't recommend it enough.

Nothing, it is perfect

The property was lovely, very warm and inviting with an amazing atmosphere, the staff were extremely welcoming friendly and helpful. The food was really good! My room was stunning one of the nicest places I have stayed so far. It felt calm it was comfortable and it was clean, I checked everywhere it was clean clean. I would definetely come here again for pleasure. Special thanks to Holly for being so lovely and making me feel at home straight away she was engaging, friendly and seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing and seemed like she really did want me to enjoy my stay.

Modern Industrial Theamed Pub close to the centre. Quirky in lots of ways , friendly Staff. Nice clean room with a mini bar with the same prices as in the bar, which was unusual in my experience. Comfortable Bed.⁸ Breakfast was tasty. Great night for a stopover. We thoroughly enjoyed it

The room we had was spacious, clean and bespoke , but the sofa had it's back to the TV, and for some , the frosted glass doors to the shower and toilet might be an issue ( Wasn't for us, just letting you know)

This property was greatly located. The bar and food were amazing and we were created by the most lovely staff. I had made a comment when booking that it was for my girlfriends birthday and they had gone above and beyond with the room adding a happy birthday banner and roses, even a cute little birthday letter with balloons. The room was spotless with a great bath, shower and tea and coffee facilities. Would highly recommend and will definitely be rebooking!!

Size of the room, fantastic. Fridge, (great, top marks) filled with drink, and trusting guests to be honest about what they used and paid for, brilliant 10/10 because so many hotels nowadays have ripped fridges out. The 'Lets get naked' neon light was missing, disappointing, especially since all the other rooms had neon slogans in place. Perhaps in this politically correct world those words are now deemed too risque? Might sound trivial, but that was one of the reasons we booked that room.

From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, the staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and spacious with en suite bathroom and there was free tea, coffee and water supplied. There was, also, a mini bar with a few options. Although not obliged to eat on the premises, it's most certainly worth doing so. A reasonable menu during the day/evening and a lovely breakfast menu.

Breakfast cooked to order and was absolutely delicious. A nice relaxed pub/hotel with very friendly staff. Morgan and Katie were so sweet and very approachable. The whole vibe was chilled and relaxed, just what we needed. I had asked for a nice room when I booked as it was our wedding anniversary and flowers had been put in the room for us and a little note, it was a lovely touch :)

I wish I could give more than 10 stars! A group of g ladies stayed here this past weekend for my wedding as I was getting married nearby at Blackwell Grange and the hospitality we received was outstanding! From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t do more for us! Gavin in particular made our stay so special, making sure the bride had the most beautiful room ‘The Lazy Pug’ which is huge and even has a bath in the middle of it! All of the rooms are individually beautifully styled and you would be happy to stay in any! We were given a free bottle of prosseco and shots at dinner, and the staff even joined in having a shot with us to toast the bride. As they knew we would be up super early they kindly brought us up beautiful breakfast platters of warm pastries and mixed fruits. The food was delicious and great value for money. Absolutely amazing place to stay and we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much to all at The Lazy Pug!
