Beautiful hotel with very kind and helpful staff. The hotel is located only 5 minutes from the airport which is perfect for an early flight. They also offer a free airport shuttle 24/7. It's a great hotel to end your icelandic holiday with.

The restaurant kitchen closes at 9pm. So unfortunately I wasn't able to eat there when we arrived at 9:30. Luckily there is a small snack menu, but it would be great if the kitchen could stay open a little longer.

My wife and I stay here every year for the last five years; we love it. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite comfortable and the location is fantastic. The heated rooftop pool is also great, such a cool amenity.

The price at the property goes up significantly seemingly every year. We used to view this property as a good deal/value, but if the price continues to go up as much as it does, we may elect to stay somewhere else.

The Hotel was well decorated, very inviting-cool Icelandic feel and very well done and great views of the harbor. The food was VERY good in the Hotel. We had dinner and breakfast and we were well pleased. The restaurant is small but convenient for a great meal and not having to venture out. Met some great people, the music in the lobby was great and the staff, superb.Perfect for a layover and the hot tub was a great surprise. The free shuttle was very nice, only 10 min away from airport.

We wished that the fireplace in the lobby would be lit. Didn't happen :( . Not enough room for luggage in the room and nothing to place them on. Other than those minor issues, we will return again and again.

Very clean, friendly staff and accommodating. They had our room ready very early which was helpful as it was raining and windy preventing us from walking around the area. Forced to stay in but after returning our rental car, our room was ready. The hot tub is small but we were the only ones there in the pouring rain. Facilities were exceptionally clean and smelling great. I appreciated the shuttle to the airport. The primary reason we booked this hotel to make it convenient for my family.

Slightly far from everything. Not much for walking distance. But I guess it would be tolerable if it was a wind storm and down pour rain.

Breakfast cost approx $30Cad at current exchange rate. For Iceland this was actually good value (I found food extremely expensive in Iceland). This included smoked salmon, cheese, eggs, cherry tomatoes, bread, yogurt, smoothie and mini pastries. It was served to the table, not buffet style. I would recommend having breakfast at the hotel as you will not find anything of better value elsewhere.

The location is on the edge of town and therefore not the easiest to reach without a vehicle. I did manage to get there using the no.55 bus from the airport followed by a short walk. (600 krona, cash or card, very first stop on the route, press the stop button as soon as the bus starts moving) You will get off the bus across the road from a convenience store, follow that road towards the sea, then left past the Berg museum to the hotel around the marina.

The hotel is on the edge of a small marina and easy to find by car. The free parking is useful. They are perfectly located for Keflavik airport and the free shuttle to the airport was convenient and promptly arranged by the friendly, helpful staff. The hotel reception area has some nice relaxed seating areas with rugs and comfy chairs. We also loved the large globe! There is a restaurant but also plenty of other options in the town, just a short walk away. Breakfast was plentiful and the selection was good.

The bathroom fans in our 2 rooms didn’t seem to work (we notified reception when we left). Also we had a bit of fun trying to get the bedside lamps to work (and work independently of the main room light). It seems the circuitry (at least in the rooms we had) means that if the lamps are plugged into the wrong socket (there are 2 on each side) the lamps can’t be used independently of the main room lamp. But if you plug them in correctly it all work just fine! In addition, one of our rooms had the view of the wall outside reception and was quite a bit darker than the other that looked towards the marina, but for our 1 night stay it was no problem.

The room was very hot- there is a floor heating in summer that is reacting slowly . We didn’t get the temperature down and did Not sleep well. The Pool was lacking towels, and in the room was only 1 towel per Person. You can use the bathrobe though as a towel after pool usage

Very welcoming staff, made sure any accommodations we may need while staying were sorted, airport transfer (free) at any time which was handy as we had a 6:30am flight, very clean and good facilities.

Bus from Keflavik into Reykjavík is hourly plus has a few hours in the day it doesn’t run so if you aren’t driving you need to plan journeys accordingly and leave a fair bit earlier than you would normally have to, however we knew the hotel was a way out from more central and tourist areas when booking so this was not a shock nor a bad thing as it was nice to be out of the centre of a night particularly if you want to see northern lights etc just something to be aware of if you are using public transport

I LOVED EVERYTHING! SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND COMFORTABLE PLACE TO STAY! I ENJOYED THE PEOPLE SO MUCH! THE GALS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY WHEN I NEEDED A FAN! BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS! THE PROXIMITY TO THE AIRPORT WAS CLOSE, AND OUR DRIVER WAS SO SWEET! I WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN!

I DID NOT DISLIKE ANYTHING. MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THE HEAT IN THE ROOM SEEMED TO BE SUCK ON THE HIGHEST SETTING, AS IT NEVER COOLED OFF. THE FRONT DESK GALS GAVE ME A SMALL FAN TO USE, AND I SLEPT WITH THE WINDOW OPEN. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO BE ABLE TO GET ICE, BUT THERE WAS NONE AVAILABLE.

Close to the airport, but very tranquil looking over the small old harbour, and a very easy walk along to shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed the breakfast service with nice, fresh ingredients and a good coffee machine. The bar/reception staff made a great G&T that we could enjoy looking over the harbour

The restaurant was closing when we arrive just before 9pm. It wasn't much trouble to pop into town on foot, but a basic offering in the bar might be of value for weary travellers
