Well run established family hotel. They try hard to accommodate you. Proximity to beach and shops was great, but also far enough away to get away from the beach shacks , music and activity. The pool was great and clean. This was the main reason we booked it. For those who want an alternative to the sea waves, this is a great solution. The bed was soft, supportive and comfortable. If coming back to Patnem we would stay there again. Finally a big thumbs up to the independent restaurant on site run by the Singh brothers. They serve good food and make you feel very much at home. They added to our over all positive enjoyment of our time here👍

Lack of towels. Only one per guest. A hand towel and a foot mat / towel for coming out of the shower would be a good addition.

the pool was the main attraction for our teenage son, he was a little disappointed that the pool wasn’t ready and cleaned by the stated time, 9am, but he thoroughly enjoyed his time at the pool, location was great. restaurant staff and waiters were exceptional. We would be visiting the hotel again

the resort was amazing, beautiful and exceptionally clean. the only down side I can say was there was a lot of atmosphere among the staff. a lot of arguments between the staff on both days of our stay, which I found to be uncomfortable to ourselves as guests. ( one lady in particular was extremely rude and ignorant to ourselves, a simple “hello” back and a smile would have given this property a 10 out of 10) but the other staff were amazing

1. Good and cozy hotel with small and clean swimming pool. 2. Excellent location 5 minutes from the sea, at the beginning of the street, where there is everything a tourist needs. As we understood, this is the only street on Patnem Beach where there are so many cafes and shops. 3. Friendly staff, clean rooms. I recommend booking Luxe rooms, they are much larger, more comfortable and have a partition in the bathroom, unlike the small rooms. This means you will always have a dry floor in the toilet. 4. We ordered a taxi through the hotel, the price is adequate and the car arrives early.

The first few days there were power outages, but then the hotel owner and staff were able to fix it.

Staff were friendly and accommodating! The pool and grounds were well maintained. Rooms were spacious and had AC, a fan and a fridge. Location was perfect, 5 min walk from the beach and shops. Tuktuks are easily accessible and Palolem is a 7 min ride away.

Rooms- I booked the suite for 2 ppl was really nice they have a sound proof door The balcony is huge and to your self the ac was new room is really neat Tv works well and its big compared to other hotel where the tv is soo small They have tata sky so you can watch movies etc Pool Quite a big one . Its worth then spending loads of money on 5 star or 4 star hotels It Is clean Food As i am a chef in Taj Palace Mumbai along with my dad who is a chef too The food was lovely very good taste never got a chance to complain Guys should try the puri bhaji for breakfast its really awesome light fluffy The food is WOW Just a request if they would goan sausages to their goan main course They have a bar too My stay was lovely Very peaceful Far away from the noise Eddie the owner on the other hand is a gem very kind and will help you with lovely suggestion related to your vacation Remember they take the whole payment in advance so do not be worried Also you can book his car for the pick and drop thingy Its a perfect combo for everything that you could need for a calm n peaceful vacation Patnem beach is 1 minute from the hotel and less crowded with few hotels ...gives you that lovely nature vibe Thankyou Sea View Resort

Nice swimming pool and proximity to the beach. Staff were helpful though not always smiling. They offered a room clean every other day and a laundry service whenever needed. The adjoining restaurant is fine and staff was accommodating when we asked for half portions for our toddler. We were lucky to get a room with a pool view, and not a view on the back of the property. Expand to see my negative comments.

Considering we were there for a month, there could have been a kettle in the kitchenette area. We were told to buy one at the market. Also to note, the frequent power outages, during the night mainly, but thankfully no longer than 5 minutes. The WiFi was cut off for several hours in the afternoon too, on many occasions. The taxi service upon arrival was disappointing - a long wait and then a dodgy little jeep and turned out to be 2500 INR one way which we thought was pricey. We asked for a car with A/C for the departure from hotel to airport, but it was an old car that struggled to cool the air.

Nice and clean. Big room (suit). Very nice bathroom. Big balcony. AC worked well. Big television. Good location, very close to beach and plenty of shops and restaurants on the small street beside. Quiet area. Also close to the stand for tuktuks and taxi as well as a good yoga shala. Refreshing pool with a little garden on one side. Beautiful.

Water pressure in the shower a bit weak. Pillow was very hard. Very small relax area around the pool. When closing the room door it creates a lot of noise if one is not careful, maybe something could be done about this?

Swapped our poolview rm on first day for one upstairs at back with a lovely, sunny balcony, palm trees outside and view over rooftops. It was much quieter (away from noisy children next door), and we loved it! A great sized swimming pool area cleaned each morning, provides 12 sunbeds and some parasols for shade, and onsite restaurant provides meals for guests and is popular with non-guests too. Edmund, Ednisia, and their mother are lovely; friendly, helpful, and keen to please, as are the rest of their staff and we thank them for looking after us so well. Location is great with a short walk along shopping street leading straight to beach We're travelling in South India for 3mths and our stay at Sea View Resort will remain one of our favourites. We would definitely return.

Unlike its name, there is no sea view. Despite the fact that Goa bans smoking in public places, we were disappointed with restaurants' laissez-faire attitude and failure to enforce it in case they lose trade! We mentioned it several times at Sea View but it's just pointless.

We’ve stayed at SEAVIEW many times and the suites offer simple spacious comfortable AC rooms with a big bed and great hot shower. It doesn’t have a sea view but that’s not important. What’s important is that it’s NOT one of the expensive crowded hut complexes behind the beach which are overpriced, full of barking dogs and suffer terrible water and sewage problems. SEAVIEW is an oasis of calm by comparison and still only five minutes walk from the beach.

Lack of loungers in shade and could not move them . Only 2 Small towels provided No daily drinking water provided. No mosquito mesh at windows (this would save on use of Aircon) Too much "Namaste " and bowing in restaurant...Russians may like it but English/Europeans don't! Luckily it calmed down to a friendly 'good morning' and they gave good service. Needs better toilet facilities for restaurant and poolside
