Check in was painless, and we paid for the stay on arrival which I prefer. The room was on the top floor, and there is a lift. Our twin room was a modest size but had everything needed for 2 people. Beds very comfortable and pillows were nice and firm so a good night's sleep was had! Bathroom spotless and everything worked. Even had air conditioning, which we needed as it was quite warm in the room. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on dinner, although breakfast was very good.

Struggling to find any negatives for this place, certainly for the price. Car park quite small, although there is plenty of free parking on the road outside.

The hotel was in a great location, convenient and very clean. The check in was easy and the staff were great. I felt it was Good value for money overall

Unfortunately the first room we were put in had a strange noise from the air conditioning unit. They moved us to what was supposed to be a quiet room which was next to the some generators or fans which were even noisier. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows felt quite cheap. I could feel the bits of foam inside them and didn’t sleep at all well. We were told breakfast was included but on the website it said it only included a continental breakfast so we organised to meet friends at the Wetherspoons instead only to find out too late that the breakfast included did include a cooked breakfast. They have a lot of functions which mean although we were told there was free parking at the hotel it was too busy and we had to park several streets away.

Good location and easy to park.. if not in car park there is plenty of street parking. Rooms are comfortable. Thankfully there is a lift as there are a lot of fire doors at the top of stairs if you have luggage. Bathroom spacious. Staff friendly and breakfast good. Easy to walk into the sea front centre of Ramsgate.

Minor issue but Furniture in room is a bit outdated in case you needed to do some work at a desk. Didn't like that the sash window had no safety to restrict opening it the whole way. Could be a hazard to fall out- unfortunately, i know someone this happened to

The room was above and beyond our expectations. Very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We liked having tea/coffee, in our room and unlike other hotels, we were given plenty of milk (usually there's not enough). The view from our enclosed balcony was beautiful. It meant that despite the cold weather, we could sit and look out to the sea and better still, had a beautiful view of the sun rise the following morning, stunning. Staff at the hotel were helpful prior to our stay and welcoming and helpful during the stay.

It offered a lot, although we didn’t use those facilities. It was a good location, an easy walk into Ramsgate. There was a car park, not huge but plenty of free parking outside. The bar area was nice, we didn’t eat dinner there but liked the Continental breakfast that was included in the price, plenty of choice including a waffle maker. We had an executive room, with a four poster and a balcony, it was very big with a sofa, air conditioning (weather was cold so didn’t need it) and a fridge which was a bonus. Plus a smart tv which we did watch. Very friendly helpful staff. We didn’t do all the things we wanted so will most definitely be back. I would most certainly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean the bed is comfortable and to have entertainment was a bonus

Our room was to hot But I’d rather be hot than cold also when I tried to turn the radiator down the actual knob at the end was broken. I forgot to mention it to the hotel as I was only there for one night . Also when my husband ordered the burger from the menu they had sold out . He choose an alternative it came out it was cold and he said it was like a load of dogs food so he went hungry as he only ate a handful of chips he did say to the young girl as she was clearing up but was still charged full amounts on the bill which I feel was not good customers service

I was impressed with the quality of the refurbishments as well as the extra touches, like tissues & bottled water in the bedroom. Breakfast was plentiful & of reasonable quality & the cleanliness of the place gave me confidence to return another day. Staff were friendly & helpful.

I feel it would be good to have some information left in the bedrooms. Instructions for the TV, times of breakfast & entertainment etc Although I was told I could phone through to reception for help, I would have preferred the independence of information cards/leaflets. The crumpets/ croissants which are placed out for breakfast had a dried out feel about them. Perhaps it’s an idea to cover them or put them plastic containers instead of leaving them to the air.

Fantastic hotel. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. I asked a member of staff to put a candle on my partner's dessert cake as it was his birthday and she did! Thank you so much (sadly I didn't take her name). The food was delicious - I had butter chicken, rice and Bombay potatoes. The restaurant service was superb. Our suite was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely be back. Elton John Act wonderful.

Honestly, nothing. We did get a parking spot in the hotel's parking lot but there were lots of parking spots just outside the hotel.

The entrance hall is very pleasant and airy and the staff are friendly. The location on the edge of Ramsgate is excellent. We enjoy walking into Broadstairs through the nearby park and cliff walk. Our bedroom was fine - plenty of storage and proper bedside tables and lamps. The bathroom was modern and roomy.

We felt the breakfasts could have been organised better. We did not like the Thermos flasks for tea and coffee. Tea especially easily gets that over brewed taste in a Thermos. The staff were happy to bring us a pot of fresh tea to our table. The toaster did not work very well, and was located too near a dining table. Toast got stuck in it halfway along. We liked the Continental breakfast, but a more varied selection of cheeses would have been better.

It is an old fashioned hotel presented nicely in a great location that is very convenient for the theatre Friendly welcome from less experienced staff was done with good humour Quite an efficient bar/ restaurant area in a nice large open salon.They were able to handle the preshow rush very easily. A standard bar food menu but presented well Rooms are comfortable enough & my room had quite a new en suite. Staying midweek in October & I thought it good value for money

Didn't ask for WiFi code when I checked in so had to go back to reception. Apparently it's policy not to have WiFi code in the room! Why? The breakfast buffet was quite good but they have tried to copy US motels with a self serve waffle machine. This was a waste of time- the instructions say leave it for about 2 minutes. I gave up after 15 & I didn't then have time for anything else. I'd take the machine out! Nice idea, just a 'fail' for me
