Lovely apartment, well decorated and very clean. Very comfortable furniture. The view from the window was beautiful . Not far from the Churchill Pub, but be warned, it no longer does food. The nearest place to eat is the Falstaff along the road, where there is also a shop. We do, however, live in a time of JustEat so not a problem. There was a bit of a problem with the loo flush and the shower was a little difficult to work out and ran very hot. A few instructions might be useful for first time users. Not complaining, just a thought. It couldn’t be faulted .. the croissants, with a variety of teas were very welcome.. as were the crisps and the coffee maker. If I could give it 11 out of 10 I would.

The property was beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view from the balcony was lovely. Every need was catered for, From a range of croissants , teas and sweets on entry to a pair of binoculars on the enclosed balcony to look at the view out to sea. We have been here before, we will certainly be returning.

Not really disabled friendly, with steep steps up to the front door and to the upper floors. A lovely property but, if you have mobility issues , perhaps not the place for you. It is an old building, so not much can be done about it. Not a complaint, just a heads up for those who need to know 😊

We loved absolutely everything.....David and Corinne have created such a special, wonderful house because they're rather special and wonderful people! They obviously worked out exactly what they would like when away from home and set out to give their guests exactly that! Far too many excellent touches to list (super clean throughout, china, sheets, towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, filtered water, all super quality, just to name a few)...the rooms are stylish, comfortable, individually designed and decorated, it's a beautiful renovation carried out by themselves with real devotion- showing respect for this gorgeous Georgian house whilst providing the comfort and luxury of the 21st century. We only checked out this morning and I can't wait to go back.

Loved everything

First time staying here and it will not be the last. The room was immaculate! We had the jr suite which had a beautiful sea view, a lovely lounge area and a stunning bed. The bed was very comfy and big. The bathroom had a lovely big shower. I read previous reviews of the shower being too hot, but I found it perfect. There was lovely extra touches to the room. Water, biscuits, crisps, tea, coffee, charging port, fan, sanitary products, cutlery for if you get a take away. Pictures don’t do this hotel justice, it was completely stunning. I can’t wait to come back again next year

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect

For a very reasonable price you get a whole sitting room as well as a bedroom and bathroom, all spacious, stylish , beautifully furnished and comfortable, with a sea view. It was hard to go out, we felt so comfy and at home. There were also lots of little extras like bottles of water, a little fridge, biscuits, sweets in the hall etc. The location was great, opposite the harbour, not too far to the town and the beach and close to plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes. We walked from the station and to and from Granville theatre

There was nothing to dislike at all. Our only suggestion to make us give a score of 11 would be to replace the beautiful and stylish bedside lamps with once that actually provide enough light to read by- as these don’t

Great location. It was so nice that we spent many hours sitting on the balcony enjoying the views and warmth from the sun. Beautifully and boldly decorated. Quicker walk into the Harbour than I expected. The shower had amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water. Well-equipped... small fridge, nespresso machine, kettle, multi "device" charger, TV, etc. I was especially thrilled by a bottle of wine on mantlepiece (I assume that was left for us) and a large packet of gluten-free crisps. Gluten-free, yay! Extra supplies of water, coffee, milk available in the hallway, along with fruit, croissants, and Werthers sweets. My husband was thrilled by the latter two items. Corrine, David, and the lady I spoke with doing some cleaning (sorry, I forgot your name, but remember your pride in your engineer daughter!) all approachable and very pleasant. My husband broke a mug ... he's very sorry!

Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations. Corinne and David were able to quickly and easily sort preferences I had as well as managing to strike the perfect balance between giving all the needed info at the right time but without overwhelming (which I have found in some places I have stayed.) Easy directions/check-in. Cosy, clean and warm upon arrival which flowed throughout the property. I stayed in room 4 and it was perfect- superb views of the sea, clean, cosy and attractive furnishings- a very comfy bed. Great shower (hot!). And quiet at night with blackout blinds and (when opened) a beautiful sunrise over the sea. The added extras were great: A nespresso machine - with capsules and milk sachets/wine glasses/plates/a mini fridge- decent hairdryer and shampoo. Also loved the history of the house-wonderful.

We loved everything! Very good prompt communication ;Corinne and David are so helpful and friendly Accommodation was very well presented and appointed, everything immaculate and in excellent order. Lovely location with amazing views , loved the spacious comfy living area with coffee machine etc. Really loved that windows actually opened !! Bedroom spacious and immaculately decorated , bed very comfortable and sheets crisp white and cotton. What's not to love. Our only regret was it was such a short stay. We loved everything about it and can't wait to return, though sadly a long way from Yorkshire/Scotland. Fruit and sweets in the hall a lovely touch too, thank you.

Everything about it, the property is beautiful and very well maintained. You can see that the owners really take pride in the property. There was even chocolates on the table which was such a lovely touch. The bed was super comfy, as were the sofas and the chairs that were in the balcony area, my partner literally sat down and straight away said that he felt so comfortable. Also the communication with the owner was very efficient and we felt very welcomed by corinne and David they even leave top up tea/coffee/ biscuits/ and croissants downs staid at the entrance it was so lovely I would highly recommend staying hear I promise you you would love it :) the lovely sea views are exceptional also everything was just so wonderful and perfect for our stay we will most definitely be going again soon
