Nicely refurbished hotel in good location with helpful and friendly staff. Refurb has been done to a good standard in a contemporary style - room very clean. Price paid was reasonable for the standard.

Although the staff obligingly arranged for a parking space for me just after my arrival right in front of the hotel it could be explained that there is no dedicated car park as such but that the hotel has a few reserved spaces directly in front of the hotel which the staff will free up on arrival by moving of their vehicles. There was a little traffic noise during the day in the room which overlooked the seafront road but this slight disturbance diminished to very little during the night. No breakfast option at time of visit.

Comfortable room, great bed, space and fantastic to have a sea view. Super location. The room itself was very warm and I could turn off heating as desiree. Parking: I found a spot easily behind the hotel.

The micro- bathroom was cold: radiator not on and I couldn't operate it, but as I was only there briefly I didn't mind. Windows needed to be cleaned on the outside.

The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard although the bar and restaurant are still under renovation. When completed this will be a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and deserve to make a success of this new venture.

The bar and restaurant are almost refurbished.

Good location

Warmer - room didn’t get warm in a couple of hours. We were so cold we went for dinner at 5.30 to go somewhere warm. Shower very poor water pressure. Agreed to top floor but on reflection would have preferred lower floor as 47 stairs and one of us has a previous stroke and not as fit as normal

Beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms, which offer fantastic sea views. Such lovely staff. Made us feel like part of the family

The wifi was patchy on the top floor, but it worked well in the lobby. I think the hotel has just opened with new owners so it is finding its feet.

Great location. Street or public car park parking nearby. Lovely welcoming staff and very clean. Our room was up several flights of stairs but that meant we were top floor and quiet. Will be perfect once restaurant is open but there are lots of places walking distance for breakfast

Absolutely everything! The new owners who run it are amazing, so kind, caring and their hotel is the perfect base, the hotel is under works of improvement, but to be honest from what we have seen I don’t know how they could improve what is already an exceptional hotel.

Nothing at all

An absolute gem ! Under a new ownership, this hotel is perfectly located. Not only rooms are very clean and well decorated but the warm welcoming makes a difference. Instantly we felt home and honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else in Margate

That we couldn’t stay longer !

We stayed for one night, and this place is perfect for a weekend getaway! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location was great, we were able to easily walk everywhere. The room was cosy and the bed super comfy!

Nothing! The place was perfect!

The hotel is small and comfortable - perfect for our needs. The staff were really helpful - it was boxing night so a weird time and they were lovely.

It took us a moment to work out which building it was - the signage is quite small.
