Loved the locality to the beach and centre of Broadstairs. Easy to access and felt secure. Comfortable bed. Had a fan in the room as it was a heatwave which was appreciated!

The shower head was over the bath, and so with no curtain (as its a lovely roll top bath to fit the Victoria theme of the room) we had to sit in the bath to shower. Being 6ft 1 that isn't easy. Couldn't have a bath as an alternative as the water out the bath was really slow to run, just took forever so gave up. No bath mat to step out onto so the floor got really wet (+ with the shower issue mentioned before!). So just a bit impractical / not easy / uncomfortable.

Lovely characterful room, well furnished in Victorian style, great location and excellent breakfast with lots of choice. We liked the relaxed check in (from 2pm) time and checkout time of 11am and also the fact we could eat breakfast (brunch) after checking out if we wished.. Nice atmospheric building in a great central part of this lovely town. Everything we needed was there, including a fan, hairdryer, toiletries, and tea and coffee/biscuits. The staff were helpful and pleasant and in particular quickly sorted out a potential issue concerning whether we had booked a breakfast-inclusive package.

This may be an issue personal to us, but we found the mattress on the bed a little too soft for comfort. The bar over the road had extremely loud music which we were a bit concerned about, but thankfully it stopped at 11pm so all was well. Parking was not that easy but this is probably common to most places in the town - we ended up a 5 minute walk up the road in a paid parking space. We suspect the room could get rather hot in the case of a summer heatwave, but we were fine with the more moderate temperature on the day we visited plus there was a fan if needed.

Ebenezers is a real gem of a place, the decor is so lovely and the rooms ample and well equipped. Made use of the bath which was very relaxing. Fantastic location, free parking within 5-10 min walk, just brilliant stay. I’ll be back again for sure. (Be aware that pubs nearby are noisy but we weren’t too bothered and it was all over by 1230-1am at the latest on a Friday night)

All the staff were so friendly, chatty and welcoming except one individual who completely ignored me at breakfast as I’m assuming they just started their shift and were opening up to the public (not the guy cooking, he is fantastic and so attentive) It was only me and them in the room and not so much as a good morning. Just a bit rude really sorry, muttering to themselves, huffing, and when I gave the key back, wasn’t interested in how our stay was no thank you / goodbye.

I liked the location, the room and the breakfast. Very nice! The only downside was that at night, I could hear the car/ vans passing by.

I arrived early at the B&B and I asked whether I could just leave my bag as it was heavy. I knew the room wasn't ready as the check in was at 2 pm but I didn't want to walk around with my rucksack. I was told to return at 1:30. It would have been nice and kind to ask me whether I wanted to leave my rucksack in the office of the restaurant of the B&B. I understand the staff was busy serving lunch to customers but I was also a customer of the B&B.

We liked he location, the decor of the room and the view of the sea from the window. the staff was very nice and welcoming.

the room layout could be improved and somewhere to place the luggage could be beneficial. by having more space near the bay window you make the room extra special. the bathroom doesn't have any hooks for the towels. the bathroom floor is leaning and feels unsafe. the grout in the floor tiles is gone and even a drop of water would damage the ceiling below. we were told we could not have a shower, maybe add a curtain. also the tap is not fully in the tub and I am sure there are lots of accidents.

Cannot fault the staff in anyway. Ryan especially was so eager to help and even asked how the wedding went the day after. As well as lugging all our bags up the stairs, letting us store them the next day, and we had a heating problem and he was so attentive and gave us choices of what to do. He really made the stay! There was Sean and another girl who I didn't get the name (sorry!) but they were equally as friendly and helpful (when I needed to borrow their scissors twice!) Really excellent staff!

We stayed for a wedding, in the Beach Room. It was smaller than I expected and with getting ready for a wedding would have been good to have a dressing table and a closet, as well as an iron. Bed was really comfy though! If you're staying for a weekend, the pub opposite can get quite rowdy with loud music til 11ish.

There is a lot to say. I want to start by thanking the staff who were very friendly from the very beginning. The room was welcoming, warm, the bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast which was included it was an absolute dream. I ordered the eggs royale and my husband the english breakfast. The food is a 10. The coffee is so tasty, aromatic, perfect for a cold day inside the quirky place. The location is right in the city center, 3 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from restaurants, shops, etc. I want to thank the owner for the warmth with which he received us and for the best service. Xx

I have only one complaint, if I had to say one, and that would be the fact that right in front of the hotel there is a bar where there are live singers until 11:00 p.m. It's extremely noisy, crowded, and people who consume too much alcohol tend to make a fuss at a rather late hour when I would most likely be sleeping if it weren't for the noise.

Wonderful little B&B in the middle of shops, bars and restaurants, 20yds from the stunning Broadstairs clifftop. There are four themed rooms. We were in Moulin Rouge which has glorious decor and furnishings including a theatrical poster with curtains over the roll top bath! The ground floor is a very cute little bar/cafe and the breakfasts were unbeatable. The owner and staff were lovely, it was like staying with friends. We can't wait to go back.

We were at Ebenezer’s Place just for one night, visiting family at Broadstairs. What a delightful place to stay! When I opened the door I felt like a part of a fairytale. My other half characterised it like staying in a “dusty novel”. The room was clean and warm, the bed very soft, everything you’d need in the bathroom and complimentary coffees and teas in the bedroom (decaffeinated including). The hotel is in a great position – in a couple minutes walk from the beach, and there are pubs and restaurants just outside opposite the street. We used a nearby pay-and-display carpark, but the host recommended two streets in the area where you can park as well. I loved staying at Ebenezer’s Place and we’ll definitely be back 🤗

Some corners of the place were a bit tired, but this contributed to the character of the place.

This is a lovely old world experience in a don’t care modern world. If you want all mod cons thhis place isn’t for you but if you like eccentric individuality you’ll love it. Each room is individually themed and mine The Oriental had lovely old world oriental furniture, but not much of a wardrobe! The hot and cold taps were back to front!!!Wonderful It had a real bath as well. And the staff were lovely. So was the coffee and the food available in the cafe downstairs. The location is great, both on the sea front and in the town
