Great location - 10 minute stroll to the centre of town, either via the sea front or the shops, but away from the noise of the town centre. Staff were so friendly! At breakfast you can ask for anything more you need. Great continental breakfast of cheese, cold meats, cereals and then warm toast and croissant. Coffees/teas/fruit juice. High chair for little one. Room (7, double bed and shower en suite) was very clean and possibly recently decorated. Spacious room. Parking (paid for).

Blackout blinds or curtains are needed for the bedroom. The sunlight burst through in the early hours (summer time). Mattress needs rotating or replacing as the edge slopes/dips a lot. Unfortunately we did find a sharp thumbtack on the floor by the door, which wasn't great with our baby crawling around. Hopefully prices out of season are lower as this was a stretch.

The location was perfect and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, a good size and the shower was lovely! Parking was £7 for the one night stay, which was great, as it's difficult to find reasonable parking within Ramsgate. We had a continental breakfast which was included with our stay, and it was just enough for us. It was a really nice touch, to be served warm croissants and toast too!

The room did smell a little like dogs, and we do appreciate that some rooms were animal friendly but it was quite strong and not pleasant when we initially walking in. The room was really hot, even though we had all the windows open it was still so warm! Not expecting air conditioning, but I would be nice to have a fan in the room.

This is a hidden gem, just a stones throw from the town centre. Great hosts and staff. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed ,nice sized room. Bathroom facilities good .Liked the electronic locks ,on room entry, and venue entrance. The whole street has a very community atmosphere, including the one room pub ,The Queen Charlotte, the local convenience store well stocked. It's on our top 4 in Ramsgate. Café, very artesian, good food. Nice breakfast. A host of events listed in the venue and local are.

Comfy bed, spacious room, very clean and quiet. Good quality bathroom fixtures,(but see dislikes!) good water pressure in shower, plentiful loo-roll and tea/coffee/biscuits. Very good heavy curtains to block out light from morning sun/streetlight. Use of private terrace (we were in Room 8) great. Being able to park at the rear of the property was a bonus as we were able to forget about the car for the whole of our stay. Marzena and team were very attentive and welcoming. The continental breakfast was tasty and fresh. Will stay here if we re-visit Ramsgate.

The shower, though excellent, being one with the smooth rounded mechanisms on each end of a horizontal bar, was very difficult to operate when wet. I have small hands and had to ask my husband to turn it off for me(and he didn't find it easy!) Not the fault of the Falstaff, just a general design fault that I have encountered in a number of establishments recently. We got the hang of it eventually!

excellent staff, helpful and friendly. comfortable room with sea and roof top views, parking available if required, quite location, but also close to amenities. Good continental breakfast with cooked available if needed. fabulous deli counter with freshly cooked in house delights. Lovely outside seating area for eating too. Great Loop bus between Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs.. loved this as saved moving the car and the hastle of trying to park everywhere.

Perhaps some flowers on the tables for breakfast, just to liven up the dining room... a few tweeks would transform the entrance area/dining....

The hotel and staff are lovely. Continental breakfast included, and you can also order hot food as extra cost. Lovely hotel and area , near Westcliffe area.

Room we booked is not room we got due to booking.com not having correct photos on room descriptions.we booked room 4, but we got room 6, which is much smaller and up more stairs. hotel were lovely and gave us partial refund as room 4 has larger seating area, hallway and larger bathroom with bath and separate shower but room 6 only has room, ko hallway, shower only and not roowe booked. The hotel is having to deal with these mix up and was kind about it as we have also booked a few times before. Booking.com needs to work with the hotel to correct this room mix up, as you won't get room you think you booked. The hotel said ring to check as the wrong rooms listed on booking .com so the hotel can ensure the correct room is booked as also price differences.

I I liked the comfort of the bed ..I was very tired 😴. I liked the staff ..very courteous and obliging, also quite prompt considering I booked late . I liked the tea / coffee in room .

I hadn't realised breakfast was going to be croissants / toast when I first booked . On booking com it is misleading by just saying breakfast and not specifying type . I had croissants etc and enjoyed it though. The TV I had trouble switching off with remote so I turned it off at the wall . Apart from that I enjoyed staying at Falstaff.

Very nice atmosphere and good sized rooms. Good location. Welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms nicely decorated. But need some hooks for towels, coats ect, no where to put wet things from beach.

Extra charges for car park and dog make this quite expensive. We have had food here before and it was delicious, so the minimalist continenal breakfast is dissappointing. Maybe some bacon or eggs on toast could be available on days the kitchen isn't open? Our rooms weren't very close together as requested and the communal room seemed to have been booked out by a group who didn't seem very welcoming of guests. Maybe some signs or warnings if parts of the hotel are off limits, as it is a nice idea to make it available, but we felt we were intruding? Places to hang wet thing please! We had lovely weather, but no where to put anything from the beachbin the bathrooms or rooms and wary of the antique furniture.

The room was perfectly cleaned, and airy and large. The bed was comfortable.

The breakfast included in the price was not good. There should be some gluten free option and another meat option other than pork. There were people talking loudly outside on the street after 11:00 pm which bothered us a lot. The room does not have an air conditioning, i believe it should as it was super hot. A small fridge was missing , i think every room should have a small one.

The hotel has had a make over and was spotless. We were in room three which is situated three floors up, no problem if you are able bodied but no lift if disabled. . The breakfast was continental style but adequate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The loop bus runs from the end of the road and is a great way to get about. We were there out of season so the restaurant and bar were unfortunately not available. Would definitely stay again.
