Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice. Location is about as good as you can get in Broadstairs, about 8 minute walk to seafront

Toiletries in the bathroom are tiny little tubes that fall through the gaps in the shower tray. For £245 a night for our junior suite, they were cheap and nasty. This was the only complaint I’d have.

Room size good. Friendly staff Daily biscuits and water replenished in the room. Breakfast is good .

In the Deluxe double room they supply water in the room, which is good but no glasses. I don't want to drink from the bottle. Had to go and get some glasses from the bar. No decaf teabags in room. Milk has to be ordered, which means you feel awkward having to keep phoning for some. At breakfast, there are coffee machines, but none do decaf options. They supplied us with a decaf cappuccino but insisted on telling us it is not a normal option for breakfast. Shower curtain on bath. A shower screen would be a better option. The curtains are not blackout. Or if they are, then they need a pelmet. Stairs to the bathroom in the room are dangerous during the night as my husband fell down them on the first night.

We had to make a last-minute booking because our Airbnb let us down. What a stroke of luck that was, because we had a lovely 1 night stay. The staff were really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic in terms of quality and variety, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Also, a great location, easy walk into the town and to the beach. We could also leave our car in the car park after checking out to explore the area, which was a bonus.

Nothing, although it was quite pricy. I would be unlikely to pay this on a normal day, but there was very little choice for a very last-minute booking in the area on a Saturday.

Booked a classic double and had everything we needed except a view which was fine with us as we didn't stay in the room much. Everything was lovely and clean.

We arrived to the hotel about 35 mins before the check in time of 3pm. On arrival, we were told our room was ready, but if we wanted to check in "early", there would be an additional charge of £10!! Not sure if this is only applied to Booking.com customers, but it's the first time I have come across this and obviously refused to pay and waited until 3pm. Once checked in, payment for the weekend was taken immediately which again I found odd, isn't this usually taken at the end of the stay?

The bed was incredibly comfy and the size of the room was excellent. As someone with arthritis I would have preferred a shower to get into, but the room was very good otherwise. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. They gave great service, and went out of their way to be helpful.

The bath was difficult for me to get into as someone with a disability, but that was my issue for not saying anything before I went to the hotel. It was a well equipped room and there was nothing wrong with the bath. It was just difficult for me to access it.

Great location Have stayed here before, rooms well furnished, very comfortable bed. Large bright windows, air conditioning a was very good Lift available if required Large safe car park which is free!!

Our bathroom had 3 steps leading up to it, it wasn’t a surprise because friends have stayed in that room previously. We had no problem with the steps or using any staircases but had we suffered from any walking/ climbing disability it wood have been a good idea for reception to mention it before allocating rooms It’s a shame that the dining room doesn’t serve dinner on Sunday and Monday night, we didn’t have a choice in what night we stayed at the Yarrow due to family circumstances so two nights closure meant we had to find a restaurant.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Big, modern room, excellent bathroom. The breakfast buffet was typical, but you could order a few items to be cooked for you: excellent poached eggs. Nice terrace off the bar. I like a walk home after a meal. It's about a 10 minute walk to the seafront. It takes an hour to walk along the shore from Broadstairs to Ramsgate and we had a beautiful day for it. Plentiful free parking. We would stay at the Yarrow again.

If I had to nitpick: (room 104) the huge bed was a bit firm for me, but fine for my wife. The overhead shower offered no flexibility.

Hotel was very good and clean

The hotel was quite a long way from the beach ,and a lot of hills .not very good for the elderly like we were

The hotel and grounds are lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and the bed comfy. Breakfast buffet was good with good options.

Ordered the pancakes and a bacon sandwich with a poached egg for breakfast from the menu. Sent both back. Bacon was seriously under cooked, the pancakes were doughy and under cooked and the syrup (not maple syrup)was runny like water. Streaky bacon goes with pancakes and maple syrup. Huge disappointment. The bacon in the sandwich was under cooked it was served in thin white bread. When we asked for it be changed to brown it was came back in the thinnest wholemeal bread. The poached egg was a soft boiled egg. I'm guessing they don't have a chef on at breakfast. Big let down for such a lovely hotel.

The locations (distance to Beach) was good. Short 7 minute walk and your right in the action.

I wasn’t impressed that you had to Pay for an early check in by the hour. I’ve never seen that at a hotel before. Usually, in every other Hotel or resort I’ve ever stayed at if the rooms ready and you arrive early then they just check you in, and if it’s not then you have to wait. This business of charging you £10 for each hour you want earlier than the 3pm check in is a new concept to me, and it seems a little bit like over charging for a room.
