The room was nice and spacious, the palazzo itself is set in an old worldly grandiose building with charm and history and in the heart of the old town. The owner was very friendly.

The breakfast I felt could have been improved upon, their were local pastries, a set bowl of fresh fruit, jams and yogurts but no cheese/eggs/meats which would have suited my husband better but the coffee was nice and hot and they did cater for me being vegan. Our room although perfectly okay did not have any view to the outside and was directly off the breakfast room, which may not suit everyone.

This place is quite amazing. It is set in the historical center of Lecce with restaurants and shopping during the day and all sorts of bars and hangouts at night. Amazingly, it is totally quiet at night as it is tucked away. We had a great time staying in historic Lecce and traveling around to different beaches during the day. We stayed in the room with the terrace, overlooking the Duomo. We could not say more positive things about this place, it was truly a magical stay. Bonus points for comfortable bed and a really sweet cat that hangs out on the rooftop sometimes.

The location was excellent. The apartment was in a magnificent historical building, with, nonetheless, very effective air-conditioning in both bedrooms.

Both the second bedroom and the bathroom are accessible only through the main bedroom. Whoever is using the second bedroom has to go through the main bedroom to reach it, and to reach the bathroom from that bedroom must again cross the main bedroom. This less-than-ideal arrangement may work for a couple with young children, but is likely to be socially awkward for any other grouping. Breakfast is brought to the apartment; there are no facilities for self-catering (it is a B&B - which is how it describes itself - rather than an apartment). What brings our score down is that the otherwise superb terraces were not well maintained, or even kept clean. The wi-fi was not always reliable.

We highly appreciated the elegance, spaciousness and privacy of the apartment - it was entirely original with family paintings adorning the walls- as best as we could tell this was a genuine palazzo lifestyle experience

Following a day of persistent heavy rain the electricity failed in our apartment but Francesca was able to move us to another less convenient apartment for one night until the electricity supply was restored to our booked apartment.

If you are looking for accomodation that is in a great location and has so much character and history then look no further.The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings and filled with beautiful antiques and family history.There is also a large terrace where you can sit and admire the courtyard garden.Every morning we were served a delicious breakfast at a large dining table which made us feel very special.Francesca and her husband were very accomodating and helpful with any questions we had.We were very happy with our choice of accomodation and would highly recommend this place to stay if you are visiting Lecce.

Location, Historical building. Very close to railway station. 10 min walk. Francesca and Cose welcoming and generous. Breakfast with baked goods delicious. The roof terrace was nice to enjoy the sunshine and a coffee.

Stairs leading to our room, narrow and steep. Cose did carry our luggage but nonetheless maybe a problem for unfit or older people. Our room was a basic room not one with the beautiful furnishings. Bathroom small particularly shower recess.

Wow! What an utterly stunning property! Beautifully located in a glorious building in the heart of Lecce old town (yet only a 10 minute walk to the station). This place oozes so much history and class, it's hard to describe!! What a joy to spend time here!! So grand and airy and bright, with a beautiful plant filled terrace with multiple shady seating areas and great views. Heaven!! Beds were comfy, breakfasts were amazing, with lovely freshly baked treats, fresh fruit etc. The lovely hosts, Francesca and Cosé, were so kind, helpful and attentive. We felt instantly at home and didn't want to leave. Grazie per tutto! We hope to return! 😀

Niente! Everything was wonderful!

A very old but beautiful "palazzo" in the heart of the old town. Large and comfortable bedroom with 15ft ceilings. Francesca and her husband are the most perfect hosts. They welcomed us outside the door and did all they could to make our stay perfect including a wonderful "Lecchese" breakfast! It was very easy to explore beautiful Lecce.

There is no parking in the Old Town. Do not use Google Maps to drive to the address as you will enter the ZTL (no traffic) area and get a fine like me! Francesca can suggest on free on street parking a 6 minute walk away

We have had a perfect few days in the very south of Italy, and Lecce could not have been a better choice for our last two nights. What made it particularly special was our accommodation in B&B Sambiasi; it is right in the historical centre but incredibly peaceful and quiet. The hosts, Francesca and her husband, were kind, welcoming and accommodating and the space itself was nothing short of spectacular. Very highly recommended - we would definitely stay again.

This was an exceptional stay. The rooms were a lot larger than I expected with amazing furnishings which belonged to the history to the place. The breakfast was huge, very tasty and each day there was something produced that introduced me to a local specialty - a thoughtful touch. In the room was a table with snacks, tea and coffee. There was a lot of thought put into the room down to using bone china cups and saucers on the snack table. The hosts were very welcoming, happy to help you with whatever you needed , pointed our interesting things on a map and there was a lot of information in the room for a tourist to read. This was a better experience than 5 star hotels I have stayed in. I highly recommend staying here.
