The location was excellent — just a 3-minute walk from the train station, which made it super convenient for arriving and exploring the city. The check-in process was smooth, and overall, the hotel was easy to find. The room was clean on the surface, and everything functioned properly. It’s a decent option for a short stay if you need to be close to transport links.

Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of smoke, which became worse when the AC was turned on. That made it hard to relax. Also, the toilet was extremely small, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable — I woke up with some back pain.

The staff is very friendly. There is a beautiful view of the sea nearby if you walk across the bridge. There is also a city park across the road where you can relax. Most establishments and coffee shops (KFC, Macdonalds, etc.) are within walking distance. If you are lucky, the festival area is 2 streets away. It is close enough to get there and far enough away that you don't have to worry about the noise from the festivals. But the most memorable thing is the staff, always smiling. They helped to lower the baggage when leaving and will help if a problem appears. I recommend it, I'm glad tgat I chose this hotel.

The city center can be noisy, be prepared for that :)

I loved this place. I had a huge spacious room, far bigger and better than I was expecting. The bed was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful way beyond what was necessary including helping with my luggage and being flexible. There were unexpected train cancellations which meant I ended up ‘stranded’ in Messina for four days. Had the hotel not been so helpful and understanding that would have been far more stressful than it was. Thank you.

Everything was nice and easy. Good location near the train and bus station, friendly people although almost nobody speaks English. The room was very clean and spacious.

There is some noise from the big street in front of the window, but thats the price of such a central location. I slept well with earplugs.

The location is convenient. Helpful staff. Good value for the price.

The fish need a bigger fish tank and the walls of the tank need cleaning.

Very close to the messina port and train station. Was a little bit of a dodgy area but safe enough. Amenities were fine and got what you paid for. Had air conditioning.

It was clean . Huge towels. The staff verry nice. Quiet place . Close to the center but as well to the station . Its not glamorous but i like it . Huge wordrobe

In downtown, therefore a little noisy, however not too bad. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our refrigerator was not working well, staff immediately replaced it when told about situation.

The hotel was simple, a little bit retro, but clean. And i managed to get a parking place very near.

Unpreposessing from the outside, the interior is a wonder to behold. A monument to times gone by, it's a splendid example of reliving hotel history. Unique wooden furniture with unknown purpose, and traditional antique wiring.. Left early for a train from the very handy nearby station, so did not get to experience breakfast.

Electrics need updating.
