The property was very clean. The staff in the restaurant were wonderful!! The staff at the counter weren’t as friendly and weren’t able to answer questions efficiently, especially about parking.
No one had any clue how parking worked. It was added to our bill at check in, and when asked how the system knows we already paid when leaving, we were told “press the button”. Well the button didn’t work. We ended up paying for parking twice. After multiple attempts to connect with someone on the phone, we were refunded. It is unfortunate that multiple extra calls had to be taken after specific questions were asked about parking. Not many restaurants close to this hotel location.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They had a nice bar and restaurant, we only ate breakfast there on the last morning with a large group of other people, and everyone enjoyed the meal. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean and open. Location was perfect for what we needed and was easy to access by the light rail.
Nothing comes to mind. The location might not be the best for everyone. It didn't seem like there were many tourist sites nearby but we didn't do much exploring since we were there for a conference in the neighborhood.

I liked the location. We were going to the US bank stadium and it was extremely easy to get there by walking. When we returned, they had fresh chocolate chip cookies. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
The parking (trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot) was completely crazy. We probably had to go around the block 3 or 4 times to figure out where to enter (based on the direction app I was using). It was $15 to park for a night which isn’t crazy, but I wish it was included in the stay since the hotel was already a bit on the pricy side. Oh also, we got stuck with a room right next to the pool. It was quite loud. I didn’t notice it so much at night time (but we were at a concert). In the morning about 800 or 815am though I was awoken by kids screaming and being loud. That wasn’t fun.

The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful! Our room was comfortable and spacious. The mini fridge had an actual separate freeze and a good amount of space for a mini.
We got a suite that had a pullout couch in a separate room, hoping to create two private spaces. The only bathroom in the room was inside of the bedroom, way at the back, which made privacy hard. They did look at the other rooms they had available to see if there was something different available. There wasn't, but we really appreciated them talking through this with us. It was a really great room otherwise, and if you don't mind someone crossing through the bedroom for the bathroom, I would definitely recommend.

Very kind and accommodating staff! The pool area was open until 11pm and included a hot tub and ping pong table. Parking was less expensive than other hotels downtown and the hotel held my luggage after checkout for free.
The WiFi was not working in the hotel room until they reset the router again. It was still weak, but worked. The TV was not working sometimes; may have needed to replace the one in the room I was staying. Hallways were a little dirty with some scattered garbage.

Pretty clean and felt pretty safe while on the property.
My navigation system took us to the wrong side of the property and there was only one way roads around the property. That was very frustrating especially when you have never been there late at night. Also that you have to pay for parking, even though they have parking at the hotel, this ridiculous, if you are paying to stay at a hotel that is already included in the price. This is bad political politics.

Staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful, gave us lots of ideas on things we should see and places to go during our stay.
They only service your room if you ask then, morning number 2 we were out of coffee (our bad for not asking) so went to the lobby for a coffee but the machine was down. The front desk was quick to load me up with the fixings for coffee in the room, as I was walking back to the room someone from the kitchen was already putting out 2 large coffee urns. So during our 4 night stay that was the only negative if you could even call it a negative.

It was very beautiful, clean and in a great location. We had to stay in a hotel extra days because of the havoc with the windows down systems and the huge number of flight cancellations and chose this hotel because it was downtown Minneapolis. For our great surprise there were numerous couches and small sitting areas in the first floor where we even stayed till our room was ready to check in since we arrived at 5:00 am. The great details and their comfortable furniture made me feel at ease after spending the night at the airport. And then there was this amazing indoor pool, a jacuzzi and on the next day we also discovered a sauna!!
There wasn’t any vegetarian options at their taverna - inhouse restaurant. Although we appreciated the existence of a restaurant in the hotel we as vegetarians had to get Uber and go eat elsewhere. The location is good only 0.7 miles away from Whole Foods and target grocery shop and safe to walk around.

I have stayed here before and I like the location, walkable to restaurants like Hell's Kitchen. walkable to a Target as I forget my charger and need to get a new one. if you don't want to go out the Normandy Restaurant attached to the hotel serves great breakfast and has a nice indoor or outdoor atmosphere. the convince of parking . the clean pool area.. I am still in love with the old charm of the building.
I have nothing to complain about. I had a pool room it would have been nice to have an adult only time for guess that were not traveling with kids... .. I don't swim but love being in the pool.. funny the little kids could swim and was in the deep end having as great time but there was some teens who I could tell cannot swim but behaving like small children and splashing water every where .. a little annoying ...

Amazing place in downtown Minneapolis. Historic charm without being outdated. It doesn't feel like you're staying at a hotel chain. The restaurant and bar area had a great vibe, kind of like the older hotels of San Francisco or Paris. Breakfast (not included) was nice and the dinner menu looked tempting as well. Minneapolis is one of our frequent weekend getaway spots and we will definitely be back.
We were there during the Crowdstrike fiasco when Delta was trying to put up all their stuck travelers from their MSP hub. It took a long time to check in. I understand this was unusual but it could have been handled a little better. The staff were trying their best however but the manager seemed to complicate matters rather than facilitate them.
