We had a wonderful stay and Daniesha at reception made us feel so welcome. All the staff were friendly. Our room had a balcony which overlook the harbour as well as the ocean. The sunsets were amazing from the balcony. There are a lot of coffee shops as well as a Checkers in walking distance from the hotel. There is also a lovely restaurant on the hotel grounds called The Gannet. It is very popular and always busy. We had some lovely meals there.

The pillows were too soft for me.

The staff were amazing and the welcome drink of in house gin was a treat. The bar had a huge choice of wines. Peaceful location very nice room.

We ate at the restaurant on site, which is not marriot... had some sushi on arrive to our room but had to go and chase it and it was sat behind the bar. Dinner service was incredible slow, the food was very nice and bread serviced at dinner was gorgous, it's just a shame that everyone seemed to be getting food before we did and spoiled our stay. It would not stop us from staying again, as the food was delicious.

Friendly and polite staff, very comfortable room, excellent in-house restaurant, confirmed 24/7 reception (we needed to check out at 4am and they were happy to accommodate), secure parking with key-only access (pre-booking your spot is needed)

A bit noisier than expected but nothing lengthy or extremely disturbing (e.g. street voices especially during night hours, or weird sounds coming from the water pipes when neighbouring rooms were using the shower)

This was one of the most comfortable rooms and excellent bathrooms in our whole trip through South Africa. It’s a bright, clean, airy room with a great balcony view across the bay. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the facilities such as the restaurant for breakfast and the pool were all clean and good quality. Car parking was easy and the staff helped with that and luggage without being asked. It’s located next to the Mossel Bay pier so it’s an easy walk down the hill to a few seafood restaurants with good views of the sunset across the bay.

Mossel bay is interesting as a tourist location as it doesn’t seem to be a tourist location. The hotel is located in a shopping area that is a bit run down and to be honest a lot of Mossel bay looked Industrial not tourist. But that’s why the hotel shines out as a point of difference in the locality.

We had a good room, convenient for the restaurant and breakfast area, and the pool. Staff were friendly and cheerful. And the breakfast was fantastic. We had a very good meal in the Gannet Restaurant one evening. It was a short walk to the Old Harbour and beach. And it was a two minute walk to the really interesting Mossel Bay museum where we spent an enjoyable few hours. We had parking immediately outside the hotel entrance. We also did their gin tasting one evening - highly recommended!

The view from our room wasn't great, and the pool was small for the size of hotel. Otherwise it was what we expected.

The room had a great view, really super! More than we expected. The room war very comfortable. The balcony was great. The restaurant/bar area has a great view. We walked around the harbor and onto the walking path. The walking path is really pleasant. We enjoyed the food at Mozambic, a restaurant in walking distance.

We don't grumble, btich or cry as a rule and the staff did us no wrong, but they seemed reluctant, especially in the restaurant/bar. We tip, we want beers, its not favours we were looking for. Management take note - staff reluctant to serve. That is a slur on you. Time to fix, Dec is here.

We booked two junior suites for ourselves and our two adult kids. The suites were on two levels and were amazing - stylish, clean and beautifully equipped. We had dinner in Cafe gannet which was very good and had a great vibe. The person who checked us in to the hotel was extremely helpful.

We had a very long wait to be served in Cafe Gannet - 40 minutes for our order to be taken then an hour for the main course to arrive. Although we had suites with balconies with a view over the harbour, the view was disappointing as the area is very industrialised.

We loved the location, the hotel's decor is modern and warm. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with a huge bath. The thoughtful touch, of serving home made cookies in the evening to the hotel room is a warm personal touch. The staff treats one like family. The Gannet restaurant is exceptional. Breakfasts are tasty, huge selection of options for any pallet. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay. We will definitely revisited this amazing hotel.

There was a sewerage smell in our bathroom. Intermittently. Room 404. Maybe a plumbing issue. The gym needs an upgrade, and a water fountain and aircon. The gym equipment is sufficient for a short stay.

Good size rooms, with nice view of the bay. Room was clean and tidy, and there is a good restuarant on the premises. It’s a convenient central location too. Friendly security guards who keep a watchful eye over your safety and your vehicles.

Service at the restuarant was extremely slow even though there was almost nobody there. The hotels rates are very high for what you get amd there are a lot better options in Mossel Bay for less.

Our room was good size with good facilities including a safe, fridge and balcony.

The hotel location was good, very close to shops and the beach, however the outlook from our room wasn't as good. We looked out over flats with the sea in view behind them, and to the side were the port and dock area, which wasn't pleasing on the eye. The pool wasn't really big enough for swimming, it was more like a large plunge pool, but with the sea so close you could go there instead.
