We normally make use of Portao Diaz Hotel when we visit our family in Groot Brak River and George. It is need and tidy and some of the people there remember us from visiting through the years. The view over the sea from our room, is each and every time my main thing in the mornings. I love the view.

We love the friendliness of the staff. Especially the receptionists. When we get to the reception in the morning yesterday, they greet us very friendly and remembered that she told us to have a free breakfast when we come again, after an experience the previous time. Which we got from them yesterday. Portao Diaz Hotel is situated near everything you need. The shops, doctors, hospital, casino and off cause the sea.

The reception staff and room staff were super friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was great. We Love the view from the room. They made our stay very pleasant. Thank you so much for your friendliness and accommodating attitude

The service at the restaurant was poor. We had a function at the restaurant and 1 of the kitchen staff's attitude was not up to standard and don't know how to work and talk to the client. She was rude and demanding and let a few clients feel uncomfortable.

The hotel self was comfortable and it was an enjoyable stay. The facilities were great and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday and it was a pleasure to return after a tiring day. Even the DSTV was working, which was a big plus. We will definitely go again. The kids also enjoyed their stay. The view from our room was amazing!

The fact that there was no reception after 22:00. It kind of felt like we had to return before 22:00 .

The clean room, and the hospitality!

The use of the kettle is uncomfortable. Please supply room with small microwave, barfridge and rack for wet clothes and swimming towels.

Very clean. Staff very friendly. Location not bad at all. Very accommodating and they had no problem with freezing our 20kg of meat and chicken in their freezer. Would return anytime...

I was so lucky to have found an opening at such a good price, literally last minute booking. Place is spotless, quiet and whenever we returned from a day out our room was spotless. The housekeeping staff are really doing a great job. I really think they should be a 4 star hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay. The Jacobs Family from Port Elizabeth.

The facilities we're very clean and neat, staff was friendly and met us with smiles, breakfast was excellent and the room we stayed in was very neat and tidy they came to clean every morning

Did not expect the hotel to clean rooms and exchange towels daily. Pleasantly surprised.
