Perfect location, beautiful views, friendly staff and lively breakfast!

Magnificent views, comfortable stay. Loved the fact that they have an honesty-bar where you help yourself with drinks and right down the drinks that you've taken in an honesty book, for review and payment at check out. A definite first in South Africa. Kudos to them.

Uphill traveling, but that's the price you must pay for magnificent views. Slightly overpriced but worth the buck. Aircon in need of maintenance, noise disturbance.

Nothing. It was in an ideal location. Massively steep hill to climb at night but I could have taken an Uber. Great location to reach the harbour, restaurants and tourist experiences.

Very good location and loved the hosting. We really enjoyed the view and fresh air, sitting in the balcony It is a good value for money. Overall a good stay with lovely breakfast in Mossel Bay.

There were some misses with the cleaning/housekeeping and the ventilation in our room wasn't the best but with air conditioning it was fine.

Our room was so spacious with great views over the harbour, beds and pillows were so comfortable. The location was convenient, close to the town and shops/restaurants. The host was so friendly and welcoming and offered us a free update of the room which made our stay even better than expected. The breakfast is delicious and offers a lot of options for all tastes. Try their omelette: definitely the best we had in South Africa! Whish we could have stayed longer!

We received a warm welcome by arrival from Laurette.Our room had the best view we ever had. The breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and warm. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were refreshed every day. We definitely are looking forward to booking with Bar-t-nique quest house AGAIN! Thank you to all the ladies, YOU ROCK!

We were fortunate to be offered an upgrade to the Penthouse room, which was very spacious, with great views. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

No cold water in the bathroom. The basin and shower, even on the coldest setting, still ran water that was far too hot to comfortably shower or wash.

The property is modern, clean and well appointed, in the room and common areas. The breakfast was a combination of continental buffet style and cooked options which set us up well for the day. The service from the staff was very helpful. Beach towels were provided on request. The location has great views over the bay from our balcony. Beds were very comfy, the aircon was excellent, and the large secure room safe is a good, thoughtful detail. The parking is private and off road and whilst not gated felt secure.

Slightly strange in the evenings as there are no staff on site which might not suit some. The walk down to the front is about 15 minutes down hill which mean its 20 minutes up hill which may not suit some. The small swimming pool was green and out of action during our stay.

Peaceful place to stay located away from traffic. The rooms have a nice view of the harbor and the ocean. Big glass window wall to take in the view.

The entrance and roads leading to the location is slightly steep which was a concern because I had a lower car (german sedan), but it wasn't an issue in the end.

The room was clean and fresh. the staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. we had a lovely peaceful stay and location is perfect as it is central. breakfast was on time served warm and fresh. it was a perfect accommodation and I will go back again.
