I have no idea what 'Layer' means!!! Is this a mistranslation??? We liked the size of the room, the clean facilities, the lack of paper waste, the large breakfast. We also liked the convenient bus stop into central Salzburg across the room and there were restaurants and supermarkets within ten minutes walk. For circa £90 a night in Salzburg, you can't complain!!

Needed more pillows and the mattress was a bit thin. There was orange and apple squash at breakfast, not real fruit juice. The bread and semmel were a bit stale and they didn't replace items when they ran out. Hence no apples on Sunday morning.

Everything except breakfast

All meat items and not one Kosher or Halal item in the breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet felt more like a chapel than a breakfast room, with a large cross hanging above in the dining room and no consideration of food for non Christians. It’s as if it’s a hotel for locals more?, I don’t know but a hotel with intetnational guests should accommodate the dietic needs of all by at least offering a Kosher item or Halal item at breakfast

Silent location, 1-2 minutes from trolley bus no 4 which takes you to the city center.Also they’ve given us free transportation tickets during our stay which was very appreciated.Breakfast delicious with lots of options

Maybe they should pay attention more to cleanliness:our room’s floor was dusty, but the bathroom and sheets were clean.

The hotel is very far from the center, it seems like it is out of the city, but by the bus number 4 you can get there from the center and back, so it wasn’t a problem. When we got to the hotel we waited for a while, because there was some confusion with the cleaning of the rooms, and then we were told that the key to our room was lost and we were given a different room. It wasn’t bad. Approximately 10 minutes by foot from the hotel there is a supermarket and a couple of restaurants (mostly Asian). The breakfast was full, the kind where you take a plate and choose what you want. There was coffee, many types of tea, milk, yogurt, different cereals, precut sausages and cheese, fruits and vegetables, bread, boiled eggs. It was enough. The room was pretty clean, the only thing we didn’t like about the room is the shower, it isn’t separated from the bathroom in general, so the water might get under the sink and the bathroom floor. This hotel promotes everything eco, so there aren’t packed small things, like soup, or ketchups, or yogurts, everything is in bulk, which is cool. In general we liked it, but if you want something near the center, it isn’t your best option.

Unfortunately, the TV did not work (cable connection prob. damaged). Only found out later at night. Friendly stuff promised at check-out to have a look and fix the problem.

Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, very welcoming and knowledgeable staff, ready to assist with any inquiry. We found the public transportation just around the corner very useful, as we did not have to use the car and we could enjoy a glass of gluhwein at the beautiful Salzburg Christmas market. We would stay there again.

The room was spacious - loved the couch. The free breakfast was good. It was located very close to the city bus stop. The main desk was staffed from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The showers didn't drain well, and the floor got all wet.

Staff was very hostable and very kind I had a connection issue, so I didn't receive the email to confirm my arrive time, I arrived at midnight After the Check in time but when I called them the owner come to help me, it was very kind of him, really, I was thankful to him and I can't forget this situation, He save me and my Family

Rooms each have a double and a single bed. Mattress and pillow were great. Good size rooms, especially for the price. Free parking and busstop right next to hotel. Free breakfast and wifi.

No AC. No fridge. No toiletries. Shower is kind of odd with 2 doors which make a cube but it makes sense given the size.

Very affordable and nice hotel for an overnight or two, with a decent location, close to the border with Germany and the airport, but also fairly quick access to the city centre of Salzburg. Breakfast was nice, with plenty of choices, nice coffee too. Room is basic, but clean and pretty comfortable. Although it is a fairly basic hotel, it fulfilled our expectations completely, at an amazing price for Salzburg.
