The location, since we were traveling by train, was perfect. It helped us explore the "non-turisty" area of Salzburg. It gave us opportunity to explore local restaurants and meet great local people. The hotel accommodation were excellent. The layout of our room was inspiring; industrial, and yet, contemporary. Next to Salzburg Central Station and yet was quiet, which allows you to rest during the night. When return to Salzburg, we would stay again at arteSalzburg.

Only one staff was welcoming. A young lady that wears a hijab, I did not get her name, welcomed us every time she saw us during our stay. Everyone else were too busy doing their work or ignored us for completely. We weren't able to open the window shades in our room, I enjoy day-light. A bit pricey.

The hotel is modern with beautiful views of the city and its surroundings, it is definitely worth taking rooms on the upper floors. Breakfast, although not cheap, is on the 15th floor of the building with an excellent panoramic view of the city. Located next to the train station and, considering the size of Salzburg, it is easy to get everywhere on foot, public transport is also available nearby. Our room had a great, modern ventilation system that worked perfectly and overall there was a great climate, which served for an excellent sleep!

From the design, the only downside is that the toilet only has a pot and the sink is in the combined shower/hallway room, but otherwise a great hotel.

The hotel is an attractive, slim tower right in a convenient location next to the train station. The staff are notably warm and friendly! The rooms are very modern, each with floor to ceiling windows with picturesque views of the mountains and historic city of Salzburg. The facilities in the room - shower, sink, toilet in private space - were well-designed and functioned well. It was very warm outside during our stay and so we took advantage of the AC and automated intra-window blinds that raised, lowered, opened and shut with the push of a button. We were delighted to learn that all items from the mini bar are free (!), and friendly staff come by each day to replenish your supply. We did not eat breakfast in the top floor room but the view was stunning from there as well as from the chic rooftop bar.

It was impossible to open a window, but the novelty of the building’s design and incredible views made up for it!

We had a wonderful stay at Arte Hotel Salzburg. The location is unbeatable — just a 2-minute walk from Salzburg Central Station (simply turn left after exiting the station). We were pleasantly surprised that check-in was available as early as 1:00 PM. The hotel is modern and well-designed, with clean, stylish rooms and up-to-date facilities. We stayed on a high floor and enjoyed a beautiful panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountains. Breakfast was another highlight — rich, varied, and of excellent quality. A great selection of breads, fruits, hot dishes, and coffee. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and a touch of style.

Breakfast was sumptuous and you are aways greeted by friendly staff at the breakfast room. The people are the bar were also friendly. The view at the breakfast room was superb, overlooking at the old town and Fortress. Rooms were quiet even though its facing the train station.

There is a particular staff at the front desk that has spoiled our overall experience in Arte. Everyone and everything has met or exceed our expectations except this man at the front desk who is extremely unhelpful and condescending. When I asked for help around the city when we first checked in, he was even reluctant to tell me simple things like the opening hours at the market. And on another occasion when we asked for an ice bucket, he simply responded they he cant bring ice, but stopped at that. We have to asked him again if there is a place we can get ice, then he said at the bar. This guy shouldn’t be at the front desk and spoil the experience of guests and subsequently provide a bad review because of this one person.

We stayed at the 8th floor. The staff was great - very nice and happy to help with questions about what to do in Salzburg. In case you rent a car, you should know the parking costs 20€ per night but that’s the standard in Salzburg and we knew it beforehand. The room was clean, the closets were well organised, the beds were very comfortable, the location was very close to the Hertz car rental office (also very recommended), to the bus and train stations, and was still VERY quiet at nights. The hotel has a nice bar that serves snack dishes, cocktails and sometimes plays live music. It was also a walking distance from the river and the old city and that way we could take nice evening walks to the old city, the Salzburg bridge etc. Recommended restaurants in the area - “Golden Kugel” on Judengasse street and the restaurant at the Imlauer Hotel Oh and they have a stand of fresh fruit at the reception lobby :)

The location is exceptional with amazing mountain and city views all around. It is also very central and just a few minutes away from the station but still inside the hotel it is very quiet and peaceful. Having breakfast on the 15th floor is a wonderful experience. Apart from the lavish buffet the surrounding views are just magnificent. The hotel is very clean including the bed linen and towels. We will surely visit again. Thanks.

The reception area can be decorated better to be more welcoming. We could have been informed that the mini bar in the room is free of charge. Also the room maids can check if there is a bottle opener in the room.

Only think I did not like was that the bathroom had no door. It was all open for everyone to see. It was so awkward with family with two teenage girls. They should make different concept for family rooms and couple rooms Room had 2 double beds. It was very difficult to manage in such bathroom. Families better avoid.. or specifically ask for room with bathroom having door or atleast blinds to cover it. Otherwise location was superb just 150 m to railway station and bus station. Walkable to all main attractions like mirabell palace and Mozart place and cathedral. View from room window was fantastic with snow capped mountains in front of full you through ceiling to wall glass windows. Indian Restaurent at just 70 metres

Exceptionally clean rooms, comfortable beds and lovely staff at reception. Special thanks to you Ana for your joyful hospitality and excellent customer service. Lovely bar and delightful barman with sensational views, when it’s not raining! The position next to the main rail station and bus depot made arrival, departures for day trips easy however the downside side was that there were very few restaurants close by. Town only 10-15 minute walk so ok except when raining and freeezing cold :)

No kettle in the room but there was a coffee dispenser next to foyer.
