Our room was large and comfortable with a sitting area and a small balcony and chairs and table. The breakfast was just right with a good selection to chose from - salads, fresh fruit, a large variety of aged cheeses, fresh breads and pastries, cooked dishes and an excellent coffee machine. We liked the small dining room which wasn’t mobbed with people. There was also a very nice outside patio next to the dining room. The service in the dining room was very good. We were fortunate that the hotel has a small parking garage so we left our car there during our entire stay and used public transportation. Very convenient.

The lighting in the bathroom area was really bad which made it impossible to see what you were doing when applying makeup or grooming your hair.

Perfect location. Few minutes walking to the beach. Very few minutes walking to the Flea Market where you have many small streets with bars and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood felt very safe and little traffic in the street during the night and also not much during the day. Room was good, bed was good, AC was quiet and good. Balcony was small but seated two people. Double showers are good. Small grocery store in the same building, only few steps away from hotel entrance. When back in Tel Aviv I will stay there again.

Cosy accomodation. A darling place. Loved the help yourself to coffee courtyard hospitality and locality . In spite of a couple of misgivings I would recommend it for the prices in tel Aviv .

Getting ripped off by an unscrupulous a taxi driver the concierge had called. He didn’tstart the metre even though I asked him three times he pretended to not hear. We thought it would be okay because the hotel had advised us around 150 IS and had budgeted accordingly. Imagine our surprise when he said 250!( The metered fare from to the airport to the hotel was only 115.) Not the hotels fault unless Is a kick back somewhere!?!? Don’t let them play deaf ! Didn’t enjoy housekeeping barging into the room without knocking before I was dressed !

One of the best places we have been at in Tel-Aviv Jaffa. Beside the superb location and the ultra high standard room equipped with everything needed, the pepole there are making the difference. Every single person of the place staff were very welcoming and friendly with huge & pure generosity. We will come back for sure. Thank you.

We had an excellent stay at Margosa hotel. We liked our room very much, the breakfast, the availability of drinks and cakes all day long, the help we received from the staff, and of course the quality of the location. It is very central, in the beautiful Yafo area, but very quiet at the same time.

No negative comment. We were very satisfied.

Location is perfect, walking distance to everywhere but at the same time on a quiet more residential area of Jaffa. Modern facilities combined with charming original decor features like the green floor tiles were a unique touch. Staff were helpful and kind - sorted out a mix up with the room so we could have a room with a double bed like we originally booked.

Strong smell of cleaning products in the morning from nearby rooms.

A nice little place, right next to the the flea market and within walking distance from Jaffa's old city, the beach and other TLV nice spots. The staff were attentive, responsive and fast. The room was large and had a great balcony. There's a nice little lobby and a small yard where you can sip some (complementary) cold or hot drinks, or get a snack. Plenty of places to eat, drink or hand around within a couple of minutes' walk.

Our room had a choice between an open bathtub in the room or a tiny shower where you can barely move. Neither option was especially convenient and both lacked storage/shelves to put your clothes and stuff on. There were only two body towels in the room, and not very large or soft ones either. But when we asked for more towels they arrived within minutes. The room's furniture and decor seemed inconsistent. Some seemed high end and well maintained, while others seemed cheap and/or deteriorating.

😍Margosa❣️ This is our fourth stay at Margosa boutique hotel. We love its unique and unfussy style and great Jaffa location. Easy walking distance to beach, nearby outdoor markets and close to most TLV nightlife and shopping. Cruiser bikes are available for rent and underground parking is available. The rooms are modest, but uniquely authentic to the area’s historic roots. We love the generous breakfast buffet. Free snacks are also available 24/7 along with a variety of drinks. Most of all, the staff is professional, friendly, and courteous-and always attentive to every need. If you’re interested in a non-touristy, comfortable boutique hotel with a great breakfast and location, we highly recommend staying at the Margosa.

Time to update towels, particularly the beach towels. Also, suggest removing the plastic flower arrangements throughout for a fresher, updated look. We say this only out of love-the hotel is wonderful either way.

What an absolute gem this hotel was! It had an incredible 24 hour drinks and snacks area which was a great place to help yourself to a cup of tea and some water and cold drinks, before heading off to bed. They provided an assortment of hot and cold drinks and snacks free of charge including pastries and fruit, so if you wanted a light breakfast in the morning, this would suffice, however they also had a reasonably priced breakfast buffet that looked very tasty. The rooms were clean, comfortable and it was in a convenient part of Old Jaffa, a close walk to all the tourist sites.

Breakfast was really good, with lots of options (no meat, though). The rooms are quite spacious, even the standard ones. Good amenities, good location (close to the Jaffa port and the all the restaurants area from Jaffa city). Quite well connected to public transportation, as well. Very clean. Nice staff. Terrace available (make sure to ask for a sea-view one). Also, there are free treats available throughout the day (orange juice, lemonade, coffee, pastry, fruits).

Although clean and changed everyday, the towels looked old and pretty used. At least in our room, the AC didn't have too many speed options and it was blowing directly towards the bed, therefore it was very difficult to stay in bed with the AC on)..
