Gorgeous room, location, food and friendly staff!

After arriving they changed to the winter schedule and staff numbers were reduced. The pool restaurant and bar closed also. As a result only 1 bar open for everyone at the hotel. You couldn't get a cup of tea or coffee with lunch or dinner in the restaurant so you had to leave and queue up in the bar to get a cup of tea/coffee to have at the end of your meal with dessert or a biscuit. You also could not bring food outside the restaurant. Sometimes the queue at the bar was 10 people deep and each person was ordering more than 5 drinks with only 1 staff member as the hotel moved to their winter schedule. Not a massive issue but definitely inconvenient for a 5 star hotel. Loved the hotel other than this.

Amazing place, staff couldn’t do enough for you, choice of food on the all inclusive was really good, rooms and hotel spotless everywhere, pool not too busy plenty of sun beds. Short taxi drive to the old town.

Room was really spacious with 2 bathrooms (we were 3 adults sharing) Huge selection of food, plenty of drink options.

while there was plenty of selection in relation to food choices, it was also a little on the cold side. Although it is an all inclusive hotel it would be nice to have tea/coffe making facilities in the room to have that first cuppa on the baclony in the morning :-)

access to spa was great great bar across the road free shuttle bus to town is ideal rooms were modern and comfy showers are great always hot water cleaners are superb at their job all inclusive is handy

all inclusive here means you better like fish it’s very repetitive no night life in the hotel really not great variety of drinks on the all inclusive - mainly local drinks not near town for walking distance but free bus a few times a day if booking into a la carte - there is no option it’s a set menu so more option in buffet good €60 in a taxi from airport

It felt grand and special concentrate. The two bedroom suite with sea view on the second floor was *chef’s kiss*. The food was plentiful and great quality. The staff were charming. They accommodated our young children with patience! The free shuttle bus takes you into the old town three times a day where there is plenty of tourist shops and a stunning beach. You can walk from the hotel down the road for 10 minutes and find a cute secluded beach that is popular with local dog walkers.

The ‘kids club’. An unsupervised, small room in the basement with a handful of abandoned and overused toys. It’s where you’d send your kid if you really don’t like them. We went out of season so there was no entertainment for adults either. The swimming pools outside are not heated, and there is no serving bar poolside. But we only went for four nights so in all none of that mattered to us!

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff welcoming and the food excellent. We booked all inclusive and felt the quality we received was over and above what we have had in the past from other all inclusive hotels. We were upgraded to a suite which included a lounge area with TV and sofa bed. I don’t know if this was because we were celebrating my Birthday? In our room they had left a bottle of Sparkling wine in an ice bucket and a beautiful birthday cake with fresh fruit garnish which was a lovely surprise. The toiletries in the bathroom were very high end ( L’Occitane”) and smelt wonderful .

It was a little out of the way. However there was a shuttle bus service to Albufeira from the hotel ( not tested) . There was also an indoor pool within the Spa complex but this was an additional €15 per adult which, for an all inclusive hotel, I felt should be included. I had also requested a kettle in our room but on arrival there wasn’t one. However, I had read previous reviews stating that there were no tea/coffee making facilities so I had brought my own so didn’t bother going to reception to ask for one.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast and dinner was nice most nights, with lots of selection. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Pools are nice, good amount of sun loungers and the beach is walking distance but the gate to get out you can't get back in so you need to walk around. Cheap Uber into Albuferia, walk back it's a lovely walk.

All inclusive drinks aren't the best, pre made juices and cocktails full of sugar. Didn't agree with me at all. Beer & wine choices are better. Spa is out of service for renovation. Lots of groups of men on stag/golf weekends so can get rowdy.

Almost everything. Especially for the money we paid (offseason deal). Hotel was half empty and calm. We got huge room that we enjoyed. Food. Oh man, compliments to the team in kitchen they did great job. Free parking. Close to beach and Albufeira. Friendly staff. Small spa zone but while it was not busy we enjoyed it. We would be happy to come back.

Kids club is poor (as it was not a season). Cocktails and drinks in a bar was very basic. Beds are very soft.

Room was large with a massive balcony, beds very comfortable with bonus of a dressing gown each. Very clean room and shared areas, lift never busy. Food plentiful, lots of choice and great quality. Pools beautiful with plenty of sunbeds available, some were broken which other reviews have stated. Great restaurant ambience and amazing waiting staff.

Inconsistency of drinks rule being applied at pool bar. The sign stated 2 drinks per person a time, however male groups regularly observed getting 5/6 beers at a time, whereas we as a group of 6 ladies were sometimes told rules are rules when we tried to order more than 2 to take back to pool for friends (not each) . We were not met with a polite response when we tried to explain this to the young male bartender, in fact he was rude and more or less said we had a drink problem. The girls behind the bar were lovely, polite and friendly. Have no objection to the rule if applied consistently to all. Shame as nothing else to fault.

The room is perfect and clean, the size is more than expected, and the pools are excellent and clean.

No real night entertainment, the food was repetitive, and we found it not tasty.
