Best property of our entire trip to France! Large room with high ceilings & king-sized bed. Nuxe brand toiletries in the bathroom. Lovely common areas including a billard room, library, sauna & laundry facilities. She has bottles of wine & beer that you can purchase for very reasonable prices. Breakfast includes eggs, croissants, baguette, smoked salmon, ham, fruit, yogurt, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, and several jams. It is within a few blocks of the train station in a quiet upscale neighborhood. There is onsite parking. It is about a mile walk into the historic town center, but it is level ground with good sidewalks, so easy walking. Eat dinner in the town center as we couldn’t find any restaurants that were open near the property.

We lived everything about staying here. There are stairs and the A/C unit can have a little noise (which is normal for those a/c units) and there was nothing we found bothersome about either of these. The breakfast and coffee is lovely. The patio and bathrooms were very nice. We even made use of the pool table. We very much enjoyed our stay here and the quiet location is nice.

On hot days, the walk to town could potentially bother people but again, we didn’t mind and found the quiet area very nice indeed.

Villa Elyane is such a place which we are fortunate about to discover while traveling. The old mansion is carefully renovated and restored by keeping the character and original furniture of the family who originally built that house. You see it’s history in every single detail which are combined with modern way of living - something we really love! Florence is a wonderful host who made our welcome warm and our stay very pleasant. The breakfast is stunning! Fresh local products, crispy croissants, home made joghurts, organic juices, eggs at your choice…..Couldn’t be better.

My husband is wuite sensitive and our room was not fully soundproof. We could hear doors and voices ince people enter the house. But not a big thing.

Lovely French Mansion with todays creature comforts and old world charm. Stroll to Cite Centre, Little Venice or La Gare with ease. Arrival and departure very simple and excellent parking. After perfect breakfast assortment and setting, we spent our days out exploring the city, the vinyards and the villages. It as nice to arrive back at Villa Elyane for calm quiet evenings on the patio or Billards room. Florence was a kind and gentle hostess.

The property is beautiful and Florence was a very lovely host. Good communication before our arrival and free parking on sight. Room was very comfortable and quiet with large bathroom. Breakfast was very good with lots of options to chose from. The walk to little Venice was under 15 minutes . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

We were really impressed by the place; it was very beautiful, spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the whole experience was positive from the beginning to the end. To add, I forgot some crucial items and Florence and her husband initially gave me directions and then kindly offered to drop me to the supermarket. I was extremely touched by the gesture. To add, Colmar was a wonderful surprise.

Everything was perfect!

Our stay at Villa Elyane was perfect from the moment we arrived, tired from the nightbus. A beautiful room, delicious breakfast and Florence is a fantastic host - both very nice and helpful :) We enjoyed our time here very much and look forward to coming back to Colmar. When we do, there is only one place to stay - here!

Nothing, it was perfect

This beautiful old manse, quite near the train station, and a lovely walk to old town Colmar exceeded all my expectations for a bed and breakfast. Our room was huge, outfitted with modern amenities, and the bed was exceptional. Breakfast, served in the antique-filled dining room with its stained glass windows, was an ample continental breakfast. Our hostess was gracious and helpful, finding a taxi for us on a sleepy Sunday morning.

Everything was just perfect, this place is a truly charming gem within walking distance to everything that matters in Colmar, France. The ammenities, the breakfast service and last but not least the pure joy of having guests are on the awesome side! Again, many thnaks to the wonderful owners and we do hope to come again to visit!

The Villa - a comfortably elegant building with art nouveau flourishes throughout - was once a family home that has been lovingly restored and thoughtfully updated. It's located in a quiet, charming neighborhood within easy walking-distance of the train station and the older parts of Colmar. Breakfast - an assortment of delicious cheeses, meats, eggs, cereals, and locally made pastries and jams - was served in the lovely dining room/breakfast porch. Florence and Yvon were exceptionally gracious, helpful, and accommodating.
