Great place

They tried to charge us travel fee which is as not mentioned anywhere on booking. Breakfast is expensive

This hotel was perfect from start to finish! We had a small issue with our room in the beginning but the front desk manager gave us a courtesy upgrade (river view with a balcony) and it was awesome! The king bed was super comfortable. One of the employees came a delivered us a crib and then also brought a rollaway bed for both our son and daughter. The pool was huge!! And nice lighting and flow it was indoor but under all glass roof and side doors all opened to an outdoor bar. One recommendation would be to add a fire pit outside! There was plenty of seating! The whole hotel was so clean even the public bathrooms! The 2 restaurants on site had unbelievably awesome food a bit pricey but totally worth it and both had water views! A bonus Starbucks in hotel as well… we really didn’t even have to leave it was like a resort! Lastly, location location location!!! We booked this last minute as we wanted to stay in Boston a few days to extend our vacation and the location was perfect as it was right on the outside of Boston but in a very upbeat town.. everything was still walking distance! Mall across the street w boat tours, museum of science and train that went right into Boston, very convenient! All staff was so friendly!! I highly recommend this hotel and we will most definitely be staying here again!

Parking was 45$/day outrageous but expected. Our balcony was very small couldn’t even put a chair out there but it did the job and it seemed like there weren’t very many rooms w balconies anyway

It isn’t bad but the smashed out glass on the exit door in the pool area doesn’t make me feel very comfortable that should be fixed pretty soon I would hope. With that the breakfast in the artbar restaurant was a joke that omelette was a joke only because the cheese was included in the three free choices for added toppings to my omelette thats BS for $12 I can go to the whately Massachusetts truck stop and purchase an omelette that would blow any omelette at the artsbar out of the water and my beverage with breakfast was decent but I’ve had better at Dennys Pantry in Greenfield by alot and 1,000 times better at the French king restaurant in Erving Massachusetts and the two auxiliary doors should be locked and used by key card only after 10pm other than that, it was a great stay for the price. I don’t think you could beat it anywhere. The only way you could make it better is if the art bar stepped up their breakfast game because that was pretty laughable compared to what Im accustomed to

Security was shockingly lousy at 11pm I should’ve needed my key card to re enter the establishment that late at night I could’ve achieved that level of security out of a Holiday Inn express anywhere

The room was a good size. The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was powerful, with the bathroom a large size too. There was plenty of storage and space to hang clothes. The iron and ironing board was within the room. The view of the river was a nice bonus. The swimming pool and gym were great. There was a Peloton bike in the gym too. It was within an easy walking distance to everything Boston has to offer.

My big gripe relates to sustainability. The coffee machine and paper cups are very wasteful (why not allow mugs/cups?). The coffee bags sat inside a single use plastic tray which needed to be inserted into the machine. I've never seen them before and there are plenty of biodegradable options nowadays of good coffee machines. Either that or coffee bags with a standard kettle would be better. The toilet seat was cracked a little. Whilst not a big issue, better is expected when prices are high for marathon weekend.

Great room, quiet and spacious. Nice front desk service. Daily maid. Fantastic view!! Fun to be on the waterfront. Discovered "Canalside" complex at the end of my stay, I just wish front desk had mentioned it

Not convenient to public trans, at least 15-20 walk in either direction to a T stop (green or red) but I'm pretty fit so that was OK... just OK because didn't seem safe walking back late at night. Calling Lyft car became necessary

From the moment we went to check in the staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The gym was well equipped and the pool area very nice. The food was very good with choices of where to eat. Very accessible to T line but we walked most places. Took the longfellow bridge to boston common area etc and north bridge to fanueil hall area and harbour.

The restaurants closed 2pm approx until dinner service. There was no seperate bar to purchase a drink between these times.

Location was great, and staff were so nice( from reception to cleaning team) Having the cafe ad restaurant available was also great (espeically a late night dinner as other places in the surrounding area where either closed or too far for an evening to get to and eat. Coffee making facilities were surpringly good in the room

Bathrooms were perfectly Ok , just a little dated maybe? The cafe was great for morning and early afternoon coffee/snalcks.. It would have been nice if itopened late.. a few times I wanted a coffee snack (by 4ish) and it was closed.

The location was great to walk to the Transit to get anywhere we wanted to go. Staff was friendly, clean room, and we really had no issues. Only complaint was from the Art Bar restaurant. Took 45 mins for breakfast food to arrive. First it was waiting on bacon, then it was the fact they made choc chip pancakes instead of regular. When food came, my sons pancakes were so hard you couldn't cut them. The kids pancakes were clearly frozen pancakes compared to how fluffy and delish mine were. There was also no bacon. Waitress quickly corrected the issue with fresh pancakes and bacon. The person plating the food shouldn't never plated those pancakes. Very pleased how the error was corrected so chalk that up to a slight miss in the kitchen. Other than that, great hotel. I would stay there again.

Reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds....got there to be given one king bed. Luckily my son is young enough we could all 3 sleep in a king bed. They did give a roll away bed but it would not have fit anywhere in the room

The hotel has good facilities, including a swimming pool and gym. We chose and were given a high floor and quiet room. The room was spacious and clean, the two double beds were big and comfortable. Nice view outside the window. Reception staffs were friendly and helpful.

We stay one night on 3rd August 2024, now one month later, we are still waiting for the refund of our $75 deposit. I sent messages to the hotel, but got an out of office reply, saying that "Emily wouldn't be back until 3rd Sept (tomorrow)". I also contacted Booking.com about it, no reply from there at all. Someone from Booking.com approving this review please help! (this is my last resort as I won't have put it here if it has been resolved)

The location was great - right next to the Charles River with paths and a green space between the hotel and the river bank. The hotel was clean and well managed. While the parking was listed at an outrageous $40/night (luckily no valet costing an extra tip), we had no problem getting free parting along the road on the river side of the hotel. (Note to get this you have to go to the hotels back entrance in the river side.)

We booked a river-view room but were given a "partial river-view" room! It would be nice to receive what we booked. I reported it to the desk on departure but no attempt at any compensation was made by the desk agent. While it is not the fault of the hotel, I am floored by the $71-78 additional taxes and fees per night. The bed was too soft leading to quite a kink lying on ones back or side.
