Kevin, the Owner is Very Friendly, Accommodating whilst maintaining a Professional Approach.. The Location is Simply Excellent. 10mns Walk to Peterborough Town, with Cafes, Beautiful Indian Restaurant. I had my 2 dogs , my Buddies with me. The Location is Brilliant, with a Lovely Park, just 5mns Walk. Kevin's Breakfasts Are Legendary And Included in the Price. My Double Bed Room was just perfect . Large Room, Spotless. Shared Bathroom, very good Bathroom, Great Shower. Would Definitely be going back To Pe, locals Friendly and Helpful. Will Definitely Be Booking The Rose Marie Guest House. V, V, V Reasonably Priced. Nothing was Too Much Trouble for Kevjn.

There was nothing I didn't like

My recent overnight stay at Rose Marie Guest House was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff, and they made sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and memorable. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. The attention to detail was evident, with all amenities thoughtfully provided, ensuring I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The toilet in my room at the guesthouse was disappointingly small and cramped.

The English breakfast was tasty and cooked to order. Tea/coffee and juice was offered also. The location was a bit restricted for parking, as the guest house is close to a roundabout. 2 spaces are available at the front of the property but the rest close by is permit parking only. However, the Owner suggested alternative parking across the road behind a Community Centre, at a cost of £5.50 overnight (24 hours). The guest house is well located for eating at a good selection of restaurants, less than 0.5 miles away. The double room was comfortable, with a decent bathroom and a comfortable bed.

Location was good. Nice big breakfast. Lots of tea and coffee in the room which included a fridge. Friendly host. Definite theme going throughout the establishment which gave the place character.

Stairs pretty steep and narrow to access the rooms. Room was very small and bathroom was tiny. Host issued us with an online parking permit, but we still received a parking ticket. Upon arrival some confusion as to whether our room was double booked or not which delayed the process after a long drive.

Host is wonderful, friendly, can't do enough for you. Fantastic breakfast! I have stayed a few times now and every room I have used has everything you need including plates bowls, cutlery, and a microwave for simple meals if you don't want to go out. Plenty of space. Bathrooms are good for the price too, what you'd expect, really. It is clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money with everything that is provided. There is no parking, but I use a car park just down the road and find it convenient enough. Like I say, I keep going back, so it is great for what I need!

For me, it's only not a 10 because the bathrooms are a little tired and there's no parking. Having said that, I feel I am being a bit harsh because of the value for money and it's absolutely as advertised.

Location is perfect only 14 minutes walk from station part of the walk going through a green park very pleasant, check in was easy and quick Kevin showed me where everything was and then left me to settle in, there was an issue with the TV but a quick call to Kevin and it was quickly resolved, AI can honestly say I enjoyed the comfortable bed and view from the room window, next time I am staying in Peterborough I will definitely try to book here

Everything OK, especially value at the price.

Under mile walk Peterbo railway station and just few minutes from shops & cafes town plus two grocery shops open til late ten doors down. Room V small but with everything could need my stay including fridge & microwave and fully adjustable radiator heat available all the time. Fresh towels every day. Lovely big cooked breakfast & good quality pot tea pleasant breakfast room and nice host & guests.

Slept well but with earplugs as my room at front busy road. Shower room slightly damp smell and basin awkward to use cause of overhanging cabinet.

Facilities in the room were good with a microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery. Breakfast was fantastic - full cooked English and coffee was good. The room I had was at the back of the house and very quiet. Location was convenient for city centre, buses, trains and close to a variety of eating places. Fantastic value for money. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is served from very early (5:00am) for those who need an early start.

The mattress could have been more comfortable but not a big deal.

Repeat visitor. Was upgraded to main guesthouse with an en-suite shower. Room clean and comfortable with microwave and fridge. Breakfast good. Very cheap. Very good wifi. Very friendly. This is a budget guesthouse with old-fashioned decor and facilities but fit for purpose and good value.

I got the last nearby on-street parking spot (although I could have probably on the hard standing in front of the guesthouse with a bit of overhang). Although a good breakfast, it was better the previous time I stayed.

The food was very good and people who run the hotel were very friendly.

This is more a personnel preference but I was woken up most days at 5am as I seem to be above the kitchen which opened very early. I could hear the conversations and plates being used etc. This was also with ear plugs being used. I am a very light sleeper, but the host was very nice and I understand he might not have known that the noise travelled into this bedroom. Due to this I never mentioned it as I believe the guest house had no free rooms whilst I stayed there.
