We liked the laundry service because it was charged by the kilogram and not by individual items. The price was quite affordable, and we were able to wash a whole suitcase full of clothes. They accept laundry early and return it to you in the evening, so you can spend the whole day out and come back to receive your clean clothes. The breakfast was very basic, just like in most hotels, but at least they served eggs made to your liking on the spot, which made a small difference. They could improve the quality, and it would make a big difference. the room super clean, well finishing, beautiful for me.

There is acoustic leakage between rooms, and they could improve that. They also don’t have air conditioning, which is understandable for the area since you can leave the windows open during the summer. However, in our case, we were on the first floor, and sleeping with the window open directly facing the street is not comfortable at all, especially with children in the room. Even knowing it’s a very safe place, it takes away your peace of mind, so we felt a bit hot. It might be a good idea to install some split air conditioners in the rooms on the first floor to ensure the comfort and safety of the guests.

The front desk staff, particularly Daiana, was so nice and helpful!! They made great suggestions and arranged taxis/rides. Room was very clean and had a great layout. The location is about 15+ minute walk from downtown area, but I preferred that because it was quiet (and I love walking). The bus stop and supermarket are only 2 blocks away. Breakfast was basic but nice, and the cold drinking water dispenser was great (tastier than tap water and economical).

It was a very new and clean place, but very very basic to the minimum. The staff specially “ Adreana” was awesome in checking us in and helping us with recommendations and any help we needed.

No basic water bottle, coffee/tea in room. No AC. And that if you have an early or late flight, you have to arrange as there’s no 24/7 reception. We were lucky a staff from breakfast showed up to work early to let us in the lobby area. All doors are locked. Breakfast was below basic. We don’t mind the walk which is a couple miles to city center , But a few steps to the Bus station.

Pro: new, clean hotel room and facilities. Best shower ever. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Very close to bus station for El Chalten transfer and Perito Moreno Glacier bus.

Con: very stuffy because no air conditioner and no fan. We slept with the window open in March. If you come during summer, I imagine it would be very uncomfortable because bugs can fly into the room when you open the window (no mesh screen). Far from the main street and restaurants.

Nice new, clean hotel. Room was comfortable and the staff were excellent. Quite a good breakfast with eggs made to order and a few other food options. Very short and easy walk to the bus station if you’re taking a bus to El Chaltén or elsewhere.

Not air conditioned so room can be warm. We slept with the window partially open so it was okay. Slightly out of central El Calafaté - about a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and bars in town.

Location 4 minutes from bus terminal. 18 minute walk to downtown. 30 walk Laguna Nimez bird sanctuary. Brand new hote, nice design. Nice quiet room, hot water, good pressure. Breakfast available at 6.30 am. Helpful English speaking staff.

The staff, Adriana, Diana, and Rosio were outstanding. They were so professional, friendly and helpful and offered great suggestions for our stay. The hotel was warm, very clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was great. WiFi was excellent. Destino Calafate was a wonderful hotel with fantastic staff that we highly recommend to everyone.

this place is perfect. its nearly brand new. it was designed and built to very high standards. everything works great from super fast wifi to great water pressure with great hot water control. guess it helps to have a car but very short ride or easy walk to town. booked last minute and got an incredible deal for such high quality. staff are also outstanding.

Hotel located a block from Bus Depot and Taxi stand. Traveling in and out of Calafate or within Calafate without a rental car was easy. I missed my flight to Calafate and the hotel contacted me and asked if I was coming and asked if they could help in any way. Because I missed my flight, I almost had to pass on glacier trekking, hotel staff was gracious to coordinate this trip despite not making it on time. Also staff gave us excellent recommendations on places to eat.

The hotel is very comfortable. No luxury, but covered all the needs we had. People from staff were super nice and they always asked us if everything was ok :) The beds were amazing and the apple pie from breakfast from another world :D

As they opened just 4 days before we arrived, we noticed some little thigs: 1. breakfast wasn't always served on time, which is very important, because of the tours (they start early in the morning). 2. sometimes they forgot essencial stuff at breakfast like the cutterly :D but of course, because they were starting. little suggestion: when guests are celebrating a special ocasion, it's good to have a little surprise prepared :)
