Plenty of space in the room and the lounge chair and coffee table made it very comfortable. The air conditioning was also much appreciated as the weather was hot. We also liked the conservatory cafe for breakfast and coffee right on our doorstep. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We didn't like that the swimming pool was part of a gym and we had to fill in forms and couldn't swim closer to our rooms with family who were also staying at the hotel. There was some road noise but it wasn't too bad. The set up in the bathroom was a little awkward with the toilet behind the door and not much room to maneuvre. Serious thought could be given to making the shower smaller and relocating the toilet.

Because our flight was suddenly cancelled, we needed to find a hotel room near Melbourne Airport. We opted for Quality Hotel Taylors. Although our room was on the ground floor, it was reasonably quiet. It was also clean, reasonably attractive and well-equipped. The WiFi worked properly.

Although "as the crow flies", the Taylor Lakes is not far from Melbourne Airport, the drive from Melbourne Airport Terminal 1 to the Hotel is 16 kilometres (according to Google Maps). At night that meant a taxi ride costing over A$50!! That increased the already high cost of our 12 hour stay at Quality Hotel Taylors Lakes. When we finally reached the hotel, no restaurant or cafe in the immediate area was open. Fortunately a Woolworths supermarket was not yet entirely closed.

Excellent facility. Room great, king bed, couch, balcony, brilliant. Staff amazing. Restaurant meals great value and very nice. Breakfast in hotel cafe also brilliant. Loved everything about this hotel. Watergardens Mall nearby, and great, and train station to CBD very close by too. Plenty of food outlets around if needed.

I had issues with internet connection at hotel but also in location driving so maybe a known problem.

Even though it is on a busy road and our room faced that road, the double glazing blocked out all but the seriously speeding and very loud motorbike in the wee small hours. (Where are the cops when you need them) Even truck noise was negligible. The room was generous size, it was clean, nice bathroom, extra towels, bed comfy...although I always find a king size bed unnecessarily large but I know most people probably enjoy the extra space.

I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay. We didn't have the breakfast as we wouldn't be able to eat enough to justify the cost, which I think was $28 per person. Perhaps a second option of a simple breakfast of toast or cereal at a reasonable charge might have lured us down to the dining room area. Instead we walked to the nearby supermarket and bought a box of cereal and some milk.

The room was great! The coffee pods an extra bonus! Accessibility to supermarket and shops. We were attending an event at the Lakeside Convention Center, so location of accommodation was perfect for this purpose as was the ease of heading to the airport the next day to fly out to QLD.

Trying to find the location directly off the freeway was a little tricky, especially when you don't know the Area. The staff member on reception was rude. A band was warming up at the time of my check in, which impacted hearing instructions from the staff member, when I asked for clarity and for the directions of room to be repeated, the staff member was rude and seemed bothered.

The room was very nice and was a perfect location for one night before an early flight. There are a few places to eat nearby. We left before breakfast so cannot comment.

The deposit taken for one night was a little excessive and then we had to wait a month for them to return it to our card.

Our room was fantastic - clean, comfortable, spacious and super quiet despite it facing the main road thanks to the double pane sliding doors. The bed was comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The furnishings in the room were clean (no stains on the carpet or upholstered chairs) and the bathroom was absolutely pristine. I honestly thought the room had recently been renovated and was surprised when the lovely receptionist on check out said it hadn’t been for several years. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the high standard, comfort and cleanliness of the hotel considering the rate. The amenities were great, the associated restaurant was fab and perfect for our needs. Comfy beds, solid shower, very clean. Location was perfect for an early run to the airport. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming.

It was difficult to see from the road but the GPS got us there. The accommodation part is hidden behind the flashy lights of the restaurant/venue.

Location to the event we were attending that evening. Lift worked and we didn't have to swipe to go to our floor. Room was clean, plenty of towels and nicely stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. Loved that the room had an ice bucket. Blackout blinds worked well too and considering the room faces on to a busy highway, you couldn't hear the traffic, so I the double glazing windows work very well too. The temperature in the room was very comfortable too.

I couldn't get the TV to work. The TV turned on, but I couldn't get it to move off the welcome page. A very minor thing, I think it was because I needed to wear my glasses!!!

The bed is amazingly comfy, first place I stayed at that didn’t smell, the shower was amazing too, I thought it was a little pricey but 100% worth it. It was a nice place to sit outside and relax especially when you’re getting away from noise. The manager was firm but nice, and actually good at her job, which was good to see.

Best to travel there with a vehicle, nothing to do with the hotel but personal preference.
