An absolute fabulous place to stay just a ten minute walk into Westport Quay with a choice of restaurants and bars. The location was perfect with beautiful gardens and lovely views over the bay. The hotel had that personal touch with old fashioned service rarely found today! Everyone made us feel so welcome. The rooms were large and comfortable with both ours (we booked two rooms) overlooking the sea. Breakfast was amazing - a great choice freshly cooked food served to you in a beautiful room overlooking the gardens and sea. We took advantage of enjoying their small but comfortable bar to enjoy a drink and chat with the owners before bedtime! Thank you for making us so welcome - if we are ever passing your way in the future we would love to stay with you again!

Absolutely nothing!

While access to Clew Bay was easy and each morning's breakfast was excellent, the staff is key to a visit to the house. The hotel looked after my every need, from drying my rain-soaked coat and shoes, to supplying plasters for my Croagh Patrick scrapes, to even supplying me a cane after I left my own behind at the train station. It was always service above and beyond what I expected from this charming hotel on the edge of Westport. The hotel is also just steps away from one of Westport's greenways for bicycling.

Note that the hotel is on the edge of Westport. If you want to be in the heart of the city for its music, its food and its adventures, you'll either need a car or a serious love of walking. The town's quay, located very close by, does offer some options for food and shopping, but just a few.

Lovely location. Lovely garden. We were provided with clean towels on 2nd day. Bins were emptied. Had a kettle in the room with tea and coffee provided. Breakfast staff were very plesant and accommodating were possible.

At breakfast time I do prefer a pot of coffee on the table. A soap dispenser in the bathroom rather than a bar of soap. Much more hygienic. Weak Internet connection.

Beautiful location. Lovely sea view and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely return next time I am in Southern Ireland.

Not doing evening meals however the owner booked us in at a lovely pub/restaurant a short walk away where we spent an enjoyable evening overlooking the sea and the food was excellent.

Ardmore is beautiful old house which has been sympathetically maintained to a lovely standard. Pat and Noreen are fantastic hosts and lovely people to have a chat with. The room was huge with a stunning view out over the water. The bathroom was also huge with a great bath and shower. Great breakfast.

Nothing, the place was perfect.

Beautifully located a few miles from downtown Westport, our room had a view of the ocean. It’s a wonderful big old house. We had a king room which was large and had a sitting area attached.

We have gotten used to the friendliness of Irish people, and certainly at hotels. Did not feel that vibe at this place.

Beautiful country home/estate B&B. We had a wonderful stay. The home and rooms are lovely. Our two rooms had great water views. Beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom with showers and tubs were great. The hosts were lovely, kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Great location to Quay - short walk down the street. Would definitely recommend and wished we could have stayed longer.

The owners (Pat & Noreen) were absolutely fantastic. It’s an amazing property with great views over Westport, Clew Bay and Craigh Patrick. A short walk to Westport for sone great restaurants & pubs. The full Irish breakfast will keep you going for the day. Every aspect of this stay was perfect.

Absolutely nothing!

Very clean and the owner was friendly and helpful. The room was a very good size with a king size bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with good choices. Good place for access to local areas of interest.

Hot water in middle of the day was lukewarm so only possible to shower/bath early or late but not really a problem.

Breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients and great choices. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. From our arrival until our departure we were very impressed with the attention of very kind staff.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was no longer in operation at this lovely location. However there was a very nice restaurant nearby for evening dinner.
