Drove from Long Island to do the Cape Cod rail Trail. The old Tavern, Motel and Inn is situated right in the middle of the CCRT,perfect for us and our 14-year-old. We arrived on Wednesday and we stayed till Sunday. Our first full day was Thursday and wouldn’t you know it…. It rained all day. We had a Plan B for a rainy day… visit Hyannisport and the JFK museum. Had lunch in town. Did a little sightseeing ..Then off to the movies saw F1. Had dinner back in Orleans. Three lobster rolls, fantastic… on Friday had complementary breakfast at the Inn. We all had pancakes from the pancake machine, actually very good and a hard boiled egg and a yogurt. Got on our bikes took the 5 minutes ride to the CCRT trailhead where they have bike rentals ,if you don’t want to bring your bikes, and Sparrows a Ice cream parlor…did the southern part the first day. It’s actually better than the YouTube’s that we watched before we came. Towns and restaurants along the way..great for lunch and ice cream breaks along the way…the second day our friends booked a room and we rode with them on the northern half. Every day was about 20 miles from the end and back. Our room couldn’t be better..clean and the AC work perfect, spotless bathroom, and a comfortable bed..The pool was clean and plenty of picnic tables and umbrellas. What turned out to be a vacation my family was dreading with the long bicycle ride,it really was one of the most relaxing and distressing vacations we’ve ever had. Thanks old Tavern Inn.

My wife is in a wheelchair and the floors were hard surfaced and not carpet. Carpet makes much more difficulty in moving a wheelchair around for her. Also, she was able to get through the bathroom door in her wheelchair, you’d be surprised how many hotel rooms have a bathroom door that is narrow and what not except a wheelchair. There was just one little 6 inch tall step to get into the room that did not hinder us in getting her through it. Would definitely recommend.

6 inch tall step to get into the room which proved to be a minor issue getting a wheelchair into the room, but not very much.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the room. Large TV. Climate control worked quickly. Close to everything, yet quiet! Easy access to the bay, the Coast Guard Beach, restaurants, ice cream, and stores. Breakfast was fine. Not fancy but plenty of options. The owner was kind and helpful. The pool was on the backside of the property instead of by the street which was nice. It’s not heated but we enjoyed it. Highly recommend this family owned gem.

My sister and I stayed for a week. The king bed was extremely comfortable, slept great and the room coffee was good quality. The breakfast options in the cafe were always fresh and a decent start to our morning. Peter was very helpful, friendly but unobtrusive. Good tv channeling for our rainy day and quality room service freshened our every day.

We would suggest more comfortable chairs in the room, the option of foot stools to put our feet up after a long day of thrifting. Microwave for heating up dinner leftovers. Bath towels could have been softer.

We really enjoyed the modernization of the room. The flooring and decor was incredibly updated. There was also always a great smell when you walked in! We didn't utilize the pool but loved that there was one. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely addition!

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the floors could have used a good mopping. Walking around in our socks resulted in dirty bottoms. This is being nitpicky as we really did enjoy our stay!

Location is quite near downtown and close to Toyota where we were picking up a car. Easy access from Route 6 on Cape Cod. Two driveways into property can easily miss the first turn in as property is down a hill away from main roadway. Big TV very nice refrigerator and coffee bar in room. Manager gave us a map of the village and advised us of good restaurants in the area.

I walk with a cane and the height from sidewalk into room and office required assistance for me to negotiate. Breakfast area is compact but on good weather days there are four tables and chairs for outdoor dining and relaxing. Although windows had blackout curtains, the light outside the door remained on all night not controllable from room, disturbing sleep if you are light sensitive.

Extremely clean!!!! Location was wonderful for day-tripping. Breakfast sufficient. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet for sleeping. Shades and curtains were good to darken room at night. Host was very cordial.

Could use an additional protein (meat) in addition to hard boiled eggs for people who need protein in the morning like my husband who was recently diagnosed with diabetes; but we could also have gone out for breakfast… plenty of wonderful ones in the direct area. For my 5’10” husband the shower head was mounted a bit low… perfect for my height of 5’3”

Location central in the Cape, easy access, rooms very spacious, nice pool. Air con efficient but noisy, hence ear plugs supplied, good touch! Breakfast sufficient but basic. Not much seating but easy to go back to the room to eat.

Some restaurants take bookings, so book in advance when you can. Land Ho is basic but a real pub atmosphere with great service. Not open Tuesdays. A physical map would be useful for people who are not sat nav savvy.

The property was very clean and in a great location. We loved having access to the backyard and pool. The room was very comfortable including very comfortable queen beds. We enjoyed the pretty landscaping around the property. Housekeeping did a great job and kept us supplied with clean towels

Everything was good

A very pleasant place to stay. Very well located just off the main road, with easy access to the rest of Cape Cod. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of options and a nice atmosphere. The motel was very well decorated, the room very spacious, and they had a lot of information (maps and so on) about Cape Cod which was really useful.

The floors were dirty but the rest of the apartment was well cleaned.
