From booking to checkout everything ran smoothly. Staff were excellent. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure our stay ran smoothly. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. We had a sea view which was worth paying extra for. Loved the use of the pool too.

Wasn't anything we didn't like. The only suggestion would be to open the pool earlier. We had our breakfast, then used the pool after.We would have preferred to have an earlier swim and then brekkie so we could make the most of the rest of the day visiting places. The pool doesn't open till 10am and brekkie from 9am till 11am. Would also be nice to have hotel information in the room i.e meal times and some pamphlets of local places of interest.

Accommodation was excellent, possibly one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in, enough facilities to keep the children happy but without the need to spend a fortune, staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Bonus was that a singer was on the evening we stayed who was very good.

I may be wrong but I didn’t see that breakfast wasn’t included, so this needs to be taken into account, as an example we paid £35 for 2 adults, 2 children and 4 drinks so not terrible but thought it might help anyone that needs to watch their money.

Super clean lovely room, plenty of parking available. Staff were very friendly and although it was just a very quick visit I would love to go back and make use of more of the facilities. Big spacious bathroom, bed was comfy and the hotel was nice and quiet - hard to believe there was a bingo game and other activities going on down below within the bar!

I didn't use any of the facilities such as the pool, restaurant, or outside areas so can't comment on those! Would love to come back to try them!

Beautifully situated holiday park. The park and hotel are immaculate and the staff extremely friendly and helpful

My room was not serviced unless I hung the Please Service notice on my door. I didn't expect clean linen but it would have been nice to have my bed made, cups cleaned and tea/milk replenished.

The hotel is situated in a lovely location,over looking the sea,it’s lovely and clean and the staff are so helpful.The rooms are on the first floor there is a lift if needed you can ask at the bar or reception for a key for the lift . Our room was spotless the bed was comfortable ,the rooms are not big but are cozy , plenty of hangers for your Clothes ,there’s a kettle and coffee and tea sugar ,hair dryer ,towels ,tv .We had breakfast which was plentiful really lovely and set us up for the day .

There also a a lovely size swimming pool which is inclosed it has a glass roof and sides they slide the sides open so it doesn’t get to hot in there,we didn’t use it but we know our granddaughter would of got a lot use out of it when we visit again .

I had dinner one evening. I was surprised how good the food was. The staff were lovely too throughout my stay. Very helpful and hospitable. Ample parking. Easy drive to Southwold each morning, maybe 12 miles. Clean, highly functional, well designed. Beside the sea. Tucked away down leafy lanes. Exceeded my expectations for budget accommodation. When you compare it with Southwold accommodation, you wonder why people bother with Southwold!

Compact room, but fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed.

Booked a hotel with breakfast as we had a 10am appointment at nearby hospital and live 30 miles away. We were only told when we booked in that breakfast did not start till 9am. We asked if they could be flexible owing to our situation, but although polite our request was declined. Leaving early we had to travel to a nearby Tesco which served breakfast from 8am and thus pay again. Had we known the times for breakfast we would never have made the booking at the hotel.

Staff were warm, welcoming and attentive. Nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area with a mix of guests and locals. Good entertainment - a singer singing different genres on our night. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view. Parking was easy and convenient. We liked the location - enjoyed a walk down to the beach and around the nature reserve and through the rest of the village. Handy for Lowestoft too.
