Frederick William House is a beautiful House, with great access to the shuttle for Vineyard Ferry in walking distance. We caught the bus from Boston into this shuttle parking lot as well and picked up a car from here which was a lot better for us than driving out of the city. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and filling. I should also say that Falmouth is a great town too, with loads of shops and restaurants. I was also impressed that bikes were available to use, although you won't be catching me on one at any time soon ;) I would have loved it if the house was walking distance to Falmouth centre. Although to be fair it was only a 5 minute drive.

Frederick William house was lovely and Jeanette was a brilliant host. Our room was large, with beautiful Cape cod style white furniture and a lovely bed. It was spotless and the bathroom was large for an en suite, with a fab shower. The parking area was large and the use of bikes was great. We used them several times and the cycle path route was so picturesque. Great spot close to Falmouth town and the shuttle buses to the islands ferry terminal.

the Frederick William House is conveniently located off the main road to Falmouth center. It has a pleasant family-style atmosphere and is decorated with a lot of attention to the detail. We were lucky because we got a room upgrade. Our room had a fireplace (which we did not use, as it was summer) and was decently spaced. Also it was in the backpart of the house, so we heard no noise from the main road (it might be more noisy in rooms facing the main street). Coffee, tea and Cookies are available at all times, and the continental breakfast was really nice. We used the available beachbikes to head towards the lighthouse and got helpful guidance from the lovely landlady. so in short, it was a lovely stay and I would definitely book the Frederick William House again.

A cosy friendly guest house, huge and comfortable bed and generous and good quality breakfast choices plus a super helpful hostess. Access directly in the rear onto the cycle way which is also a great walk.

Tricky to enter and exit in the dark when you don’t know the road, which can be very busy. We had a room on the back so not bothered by traffic noise, but it might be noisy in the front rooms.

The property is so charming and comfortable! There’s a wonderful bike path directly behind the Inn. We borrowed some of the free bikes at the inn and biked down to woods hole and even took them on the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. It’s also a quick walk on the bike path to the bus shuttle for woods hole. It’s beautiful. There’s also a very lovely restaurant nearby. The breakfast at the inn is delicious and Jeanette managed a very easy late night check in to accommodate our arrival time. Would definitely stay here again.

The housekeeper was really nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. There are completely bikes, and the house is right on a beautiful bike trail. I ordered the hot breakfast, and it was very good, and great at value for it's cost.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit low. Nothing too bad, just could be better. The area is not very pedestrian friendly, and you really need a car to explore the area. But the bikes somewhat help with that.

Everything. It is an amazing place to stay. The owner,Jeanette, was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable and spacious. Continental breakfast kept us going until lunchtime although Jeanette offered to cook us something everyday. Free bikes, helmets and padlocks at our disposal. The perfect place to stay in Falmouth

Right on the shining sea bike path! Jeanette has bikes for use on the property. Lots of hot water and water pressure. 10 minute walk down the bike path to catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Beautiful pond across the street to catch an early morning swim. Lots of restaurants in town, within 5 minutes.

Would put a brighter spot light on the sign at the street. It’s a little difficult to find in the dark.

friendly staff..check in was flawless and the number codes on the door are great…clean room and facilities…the bathroom was good size and had a skylight that let in lots of light…there is a bike path behind the property that you can access and use their bikes…

no comfortable chair to sit in…the continental breakfast was ok. But the room is a bit too small…the shower wasn’t great. The water never got really hot. not fond of the shower curtains all around the small tub. Better pillows would be great but the bed was comfortable.

It was mostly carbs.They should include some hot entrees.

We both thought the room was overcrowded with furniture.There was a large wall unit shoved into a corner right in the way of the bathroom door.The art was basically cheaply framed prints and there were too many.
