I loved staying at this property, it's in a really lovely residential area and as a solo traveller I felt really safe in the area and staying at Millbury House. It's very centrally located, approx. 10 minute drive from the airport, close to shopping centres and restaurants. There is parking onsite and the outside of the property is so well kept (plus the lovely pool which I managed to use a couple of times). My room was massive and I stayed for 13 nights and my room was cleaned to a high standard every day (and the most comfortable bed ever). The breakfast was delicious with a choice of yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit, juice and a choice of freshly cooked breakfast items. The hosts, Hayley & Hennie cannot do enough and really make you feel so welcome. Hennie is a fountain of information and provides so much knowledge if you are looking to visit places locally or even further afield. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed for three weeks at Millbury Guest House and it vastly exceeded my expectations (which were already pretty high). Henny and Hayley are the most fabulous hosts you could ask for, and they went out of their way to accommodate me and make sure I was comfortable. The hot breakfast was the best I've ever had at any rental, and the rooms are large, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The location can't be beat. The grounds feel very safe and secure and you're just minutes away from the best parts of PE.

Usually I try and find some constructive criticism, but this truly was one of the best stays I've ever had. I'm not sure anything could have been better. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much you two!

Our stay at the Millbury Guest House was the absolute highlight of our trip, hands down the best accommodation we experienced. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is a true gem. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautiful and impeccably designed rooms that were comfortable, spacious, and spotless. However, what truly set this place apart were the incredible hosts, Hennie and Haylay. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made our stay unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and cared for, turning an already fantastic experience into something truly extraordinary. Everything about Millbury Guest House exceeded our expectations, there was absolutely nothing to fault. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, charm, and exceptional service, this is it. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back!

This place is a gem, with a beautifully maintained garden. The owners have thoughtfully placed bird feeders around the property, attracting a variety of birds. The room was spotless and meticulously decorated, making it feel cozy and inviting. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, offering a great start to the day. What truly made our stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Hennie even took the time to give us excellent recommendations for the next leg of our journey.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Millbury Guest House! This place is simply amazing, with charming old-school decor that adds so much character. The beautiful backyard and the pool are perfect for relaxing, and our room was massive and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat—delicious and freshly prepared. The hosts were wonderful, attentive, and so welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay special. They gave us great recommendations on what to do in the area and even booked dinner for us. We highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for a memorable and cozy experience!

The guesthouse is in a very nice area. Very safe, green, and quiet. The hosts are very nice and helpful. They gave me a lot of information about Port Elizabeth, including nice places to visit and very good restaurants. They recommended me a good and reliable tourist guide who organised 2-day interesting visits. I enjoyed playing tennis with Hennie. Very good breakfast. I highly recommend this guest house for people who would like to visit Port Elizabeth

Our stay at the Mulberry Guest House was exceptional. From the warm welcome by the hosts to the beautiful and quaint setup, every detail was perfect. The rooms were spacious and cozy, making for a comfortable stay during the cold winter. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, whether it was arranging early golf tee-off times or catering to dietary requirements. Breakfast was a delightful experience, freshly made and served in a charming setting. Overall, it truly felt like home, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Not only is this property beautiful and the rooms comfortable and clean but the host and hostess are SO warm and welcoming. Hennie helped us with our Garden route trip at breakfast and gave us a lot insightful information that we wouldn’t have otherwise known. He has this amazing map ( that you won’t find anywhere else ) that’s 5m long and he has taken the trouble of designing it just to help out people who come visiting South Africa . We checked in a bit late at night but they were very helpful nonetheless. The warm water and electricity is not an issue because they have solar. Everything in the room was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was warm and cosy in the main dining area and Hailey made amazing eggs and bacon for us. It was just an overnight stay but I cannot recommend this property enough ♥️ We left for our trip the next day and I cannot wait to see them and their lovely dog Story again .

Stay 26.02-28.02.24 What a wonderful stay with Hennie and Hayley. Extremely friendly, attentive, helpful and lovable. Hennie in particular gives very good tips for activities in the region but also generally interesting travel information for South Africa. Very nice and warm atmosphere in the Millbury Guesthouse, whose gardens are decorated with great attention to detail. Certainly in the top 3 of the 9 accommodations on our trip lasting several weeks in South Africa. We felt very comfortable here and will be back on a future stop in P.E. will definitely book with Hennie and Hayley again. Eckhard and Maria Germany

The host couple Hailey and Henny gave us a friendly welcome, and good service. The room was very nice, clean and spacy, with all comfort needed. The beds had electric under-blankets, so nice in wintertime. We appreciated the fridge and the "honesty snack" provision ("we trust our guests"). Breakfast was prepared and served specially for us. Very good location, neat neighborhood, the hotel compound is well protected yet access was swift and friendly. The heating unit worked well.
