Central location right in front of Porta Nigra. The room was very clean and the Internet was high-speed. The owners were very friendly and supportive, they allowed us to keep our suitcase for a few hours until we return from a walk and take it to the railway station. Even though breakfast is not available in this hotel, the owners have a nice Chinese restaurant with delicious food right next door.

The bathroom door could not be locked, so we had to inform other family members every time it was occupied. The room was quadruple but had fewer towels and glasses available, but it was not a major issue. The receptionists did not speak but apparently understood English.

The room was clean and very modern looking. It had 2 nice big beds, free bottled water and a kettle for morning coffee. The bathroom was very nice and had a hair dryer and free toiletries. Overall we were very happy with our room and our stay in Trier!

We happened to be in Trier during a heat wave. There was no fan for the room and we had to leave the windows wide open all night. That would be fine but it is close to the market square and it was so loud all night from people and vehicles. The room was on the 3rd floor and really hot.

Excellent location. Clean and spacious room with view of porta nigra. Comfortable bed.

Staff is not always present. There was nobody around in the morning before 10am, so it was unclear where I could leave my bags prior to 11am checkout. I left them outside my room and all worked out. A bit more communication around this would be helpful.

Through the windows of the room one could see the Porta Nigra.Clean. Nice staff, tried to spoke shyly English, we have understood each other. They were nice to keep our luggage about two hours after check-out.

Check-in at 15 hour. No fridge. There was no ceiling light.

it was not at the address supplied (while it was around the corner we were trying to stay near friends). there was little light inside. and the shower was unusable in my opinion. it leaked the door to the shower warped it flooded the bathroom when on .

View of Porta Negra from our window! Very convenient to walk to all the old town sites of interest and many restaurants. Large, clean, comfortable room.

Gets a bit hot in the summer (we were there in late June). Unable to check in early (although the staff did let us store our suitcases until check-in time).

the location was great - right next to the Porta Nigra (that was the view out of our window). So, it was super convenient for touring the old parts of the city. Also very convenient that there was a restaurant downstairs for dinner as we were tired and wanted something easy & close.

I would have liked coffee in the morning - either in the room or available downstairs. I would have liked info about where to park. Other hotels offered that in the confirmation emails.

Perfect location next to Porta Negra and in the centre of town. Our room was large and more than big enough for a family of four. Nice decor and was cool in the summer months.

Nothing not to like. Reception is not regularly manned but there’s always someone in the restaurant and you can easily get their attention. Location is great for town and the train station. No television but is that really what you want to do when you go to Trier? No breakfast but there’s plenty of options nearby.

Small hotel with good location, quiet and reasonable large rooms, decent price.

You need to know there are no breakfast opportunities, some litter left at the entrance in the morning, probably from the restaurant next door operated by the same group (opens too late for breakfast).

When we arrived at the hotel we noticed that the location was perfect. It is located in front of the Porta Nigra, at the beginning of the City Tour for the museums and touristic attractions. It is really the perfect location to stay. We were a couple and a 10yo child, do the bedroom had a nice size. One big couple's bed and another great bad for children. It was clean and also the bathroom was nice and clean. We would have appreciated a fan though (the weather was really hot). I also think the 4.20 euro for a 500ml bottle of water was too much. But ok, there is a REWE beside the hotel so no worries for next time. We would definitely stay in this hotel when we go back to Trier.
