A great place to stay. Handy nearby restaurant and breakfast - Trier doesn't have so many restaurants so this was very convenient. Very fast access to the train station for Trier. The location has the riverside, mountain (with hiking), and many bus stops nearby, though it's about 10-15 minutes from the main station via bus. Lovely quiet neighborhood for walking as well. The beds are very comfortable and the room had everything needed.

This summer is very hot, so I did feel hot in my room during the afternoon. I made a wet towel to cool down, but many German facilities aren't made for hot weather.

One of the softest and most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was worth the add-on, and the room, though small was cozy, clean, and had plenty of storage for its size. It's Germany so A/C isn't a thing, but that's normal here. The hotel restaurant is genuinely nice and the food quite good. The staff is amicable and helpful.

The location of the room wasn't the best. There is a street exit right beside it and a few parking spaces, but those are the breaks when you book a single-occupant room single bed, for the very fair price I paid for it.

Some of the positives were the satisfactory breakfast buffet, the pleasant and efficient staff and the size of the room, compared to the price. The location is also fine, as it is about 30 minutes from the central station and the center of Trier. The pricing was competitive and not another hotel in the area had comparable pricing. Great for a medium-short stay.

The wifi's speed and range left some room to be desired, as in my room (37) it wasn't always available. The wifi is good when it catches, and is able to provide the broadband for any online activity. Range and stability have sometime been a bit on-and-off

Everything was okay and I was satisfied staying there. The room, bed sheet, everything was really clean. I did not have much contact with the staff. The check in and out went easy and with no issues. Everything I needed was already in the room. The location is not close to the city center but was easy to access, quiet, and relaxing. A renovated old building, only the doors are not sound and heat proof, the rest is okay. I could come late at night and thanks to the blinds sleep until later in the morning. This and the clean private room, I liked a lot.

It was cold at night, but thankfully I had a good blanket with me.

The hotel was decent value for money, and the restaurant on site was an added extra. The Bulgarian food really agreed with my Croatian taste buds I have to say! The breakfast was good and reasonably priced.

The lack of air conditioning in the room I could see being a problem in the summer heat. Thankfully daytime highs did not hit any more than 23-24C when we were staying in Trier. The decor inside the property and the rooms felt a little dated.

Breakfast was excellent and always a smile from the lady there. Room was spacious for 3 and shower great. Check-in and out very smooth. Some lovely walks behind the hotel.

Would have appreciated coffee making facility in the room but nothing really we didn't like. Location was the other side of the river to the town but not a problem to walk for us.

This friendly hotel was a good retreat in Mainz. Situated near the river, it was quiet at night. The restaurant served good meals at reasonable prices. The breakfast provided everything I wanted and more.

The hotel is located a short bus ride from Porta Nigra. I was there on a holiday weekend and some bus lines were not running and it was hard to know which one to catch. It is only 15 minutes by foot to Porta Nigra if you don't have a suitcase.

Nice hotel overlooking the river, although the rooms don't offer river view. There is a small balcony facing a courtyard. Good beds and plenty of space, also in the bathroom. We were very happy to be able to check in early! The walk from the train station took about 30 minutes, 20 to Trier city center. The beautiful view of the Moselle when crossing the bridge is a bonus :)

I would have liked some shelf or side table in the bathroom to store the toiletry bags. The smell of smoke everywhere is a bit pungent. The road in front of the hotel, and most of the walking route to the center, is very busy and loud (although fairly safe for pedestrians if you use the traffic lights).

The people are nice and the hotel is clean. It is located on the banks of the Moselle river and we had a nice view over the river from our room. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

The electric sockets are old and they need to be upgraded (although they are functional).

The room was clean and comfortable. The staffs are kind, and German-style breakfast was tasty. The location is near from the city center, there is a bus station close to the hotel, but I could walk to Porta Nigra and other sightseeing spots.
