Bed was comfortable, room was very clean and tidy. Close to town, quiet space. Owners/staff were friendly and welcoming. I liked that there was outdoor seating at the back of the room so we could sit outside. Water pressure was amazing, and hot water came through fast. Oven was good to cook with and very clean. Glass cups were of good size and not the very very small ones.

Could of done with some aircon to combat the humidity, fan was provided though but didn't cool the room enough.

Nice and clean room, plenty of space, good kitchen facilities and the bathroom was nice. The spa bath was an extra bonus - as well as the spa and sauna facilities available on site. Very friendly staff made sure we had easy check in and were comfortable during our stay. Such a great location in the middle of Ohakune, easy to get to great food and outdoor adventures.

No significant dislikes, we had a great stay. Only trivially, the beds were very soft & springy which some people may like, but we prefer firm beds.

Extremely helpful staff - very friendly family feel to the motel. Accommodated all our requests. Room size was excellent for us. Bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom - ideal for families or groups of friends. Spa bath was a bonus and would be great in winter after being on the slopes. Location ideal for walking into town or going on the nearby trails. Great views of the mountain. Quiet stay despite the many other residents.

Would have preferred a room onto the gardens - wasn't aware of the choice.

A great little place to stay. Staff were super helpful and very prompt at fixing a couple of minor issues that we had with our room - that were well outside their control. Good prices for this time of year in this location. Plenty of space and room to car parking etc.

Nothing in particular - only could have done with a few more hooks/shelving to put stuff like coats on in the main area of our room.

Everything - except the loudness of the spa bath 🥴😌 but fortunately the shower was great too! Would definitely stay there again. It was beautifully set - hardly heard a thing from either of our neighbours on both sides & bathroom lovely & spacious. Older styled but still nice & has an alpine feel!

Easy parking straight out our door, the room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.

The heating wasn’t efficient for the room, the wall heater was noisey so we didn’t use it, which left us with a small heater that wasn’t able to heat the room. The tv was too small for the size of the room and we had to watch tv up close. Also the hot water was intermittent when showing it woul did been nice to have good hot shower of being out in the cold.

I was bought up in Ohakune and crossed the swing bridge every day on the way to school. Location is half way between the town and Junction and an easy walk both ways. The room was suitable for a nights stay and probably longer if we had the time.

View of the mountain from the room was blocked by a tree but oK from out on the footpaths. There was nothing not to like as it filled our needs. I am not that picky.

Very nice place to stay, room has kitchen and dining table. Shower is hot and excellent! Room is warm! Staff are really friendly and helpful! Nice town to stay for skiing with a supermarket and a range of restaurants.

Large room. Comfortable bed and facilities. Away from town so little to no traffic noise. Staff pleasant to deal with. Had everything ready when we arrived. Walking track across the road.

Shops etc are not close but only 3-4 minutes by car, but that meant little traffic noise etc.

Helpful owner. Very comfortable beds. The room has a kitchen and fridge, very useful! Close to Tangoriro NP.

We stayed in July and the room was very cold, even with the heating on (which was electrical heating I think) during the night.
