A very well maintained resort just by a beautiful beach. We had an ocean view room with an incredible view. The room was nice and clean. All staff was great! The restaurant was quite good, but you could also find really delicious food and coffee on the street for half the prize. Good happy hour deals on the beach pretty much all day. The pool is quite small but never crowded. Good for kids! Incredibly beautiful beach with sunbeds for everyone. Kayaks and SUP could be borrowed for free. It is a very calm place where one can relax and enjoy the silence and the waves hitting the shore. But still a surprisingly busy street with a lot of restaurants and stores.

If I should complain about anything it would be that the sand and the bottom is not perfect. It’s not that firm fine-grained sand on this beach, and the water is not that clear. But still ok for swimming.

this is a great resort in a fantastic location. I highly advise taking the sea access rooms, where you open the back door and have your two sun beds reserved just for you and hear the waves..... It's just fantastic. if you are looking for good facilities, an intimate location, straight access to the small main street of resturants and massages.... this is your place

if the pool is on top of your there are better ones. It is mainly for children. remember that the sea is also shallow and fit small children well.

The Buri is an oasis and has everything you need for a perfect holiday. - Incredibly great breakfast with changing Thai food and egg station - beautiful pool (the rooms around the pool are more for parents because watch out for the noise) - a great bar with happy hour - great spa with great massages (thanks Nuch) - very friendly and helpful staff - very beautifully maintained grounds with amazing plants

- The prices on site are a bit overpriced. The place is very remote and they take advantage of that - every evening there is a very touristy program on the beach to fill the bar and restaurant (e.g. Muay Thai, fire show), more peace and quiet to enjoy the ocean while eating would be great

Clean, AC working ok, breakfast is excellent, hotel’s restaurant is also very nice, people are super nice, excellent massage options very good price/quality option. Overall we enjoyed our stay here

The beach is not ok. A river is flowing from the village in the sea just in front of the property and we could barely go swimming; you can go a bit further for a more clear water but if you are looking for nice beach and no day trips, this is not an option

Beautiful hotel with a friendly staff, we stayed in the ocean front rooms, a couple with a baby. This was our first stay in Koh Phangan, we had a very warm welcome, transport can be arranged by the hotel from Koh Samui airport, so it was a smooth transition, the Buri Rasa pier in Samui was cozy and convenient to stay in while waiting for the boat. The hotel itself is beautiful, we stayed during Christmas so everything was decorative and festive. Hotel amenities are great and everything is well maintained, they provided a crib and even a small bath for our baby. Breakfast was good with a variety of food. Nice restaurants to eat in within walking distance. The small beach (Thong Nai Pan Noi) was nice and within a few steps from the room, we liked the bigger beach (Thong Nai Pan Yai), which is a few minutes drive, a little more.

For a couple with a baby - meaning a crib and lots of luggage - the room can feel a little small, we didn't mind it for a short stay of a few days, but if you're staying longer it might be crowded. Keep in mind that the hotel is in a quiet area, a 40 minutes drive from Sritanu and most of the western beaches, it was great for us, but it's something to consider.

We liked everything! The people were great very friendly and professional! The service was fast and outstanding! Room was very clean! Food was amazing! We loved breakfast the most! I am vegan so there was plenty to choose from. They even adjusted some meals just for me! I took 3 days of cooking classes and chef Soh was so patient, knowledgeable, nice, helpful, and pleasant to work with!!

Everything was fabulous, great location, staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and kind. Beach is perfect. The restaurant and entertainment was perfect. We stayed beach front first floor with our 4 teenage children who all loved it! A dream holiday.

Nothing. We did think the speedboat was expensive but was seamless.

The room was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable, the location was wonderful with great places to eat and drink in walking distance, and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, in particular Mild who facilitated my vegan dietary requirements very well and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend!

Location - Beach front Beach . Evening event . Privacy. And I love those toiletries - shampoo and all that. And I was so surprised you replenished the butter cookies supplies - it tastes so good! Awesome sunrise view from my room!

I think this is the only hotel property I had stay ( At Europe and Asia etc ) that not allowed us to take the extra spare house slippers home.

We loved our room, which opened out onto the beach. Breakfast was great, and the staff were kind enough to let us get a quick bite to eat before breakfast officially opened on our final day as we were leaving early. Happy hour cocktails at the bar were a real highlight too! We made use of the massage facilities, gym and restaurant - all were fantastic.
