We loved our stay at Si Como. We stayed here as part of our honemoon trip, staying in the honeymoon suite. The room was large, clean, had a comfy bed & a jacuzzi in the room! The room & balcony had an amazing view over the rainforest & out to the oceon. We saw so much wildlife within the resort itself & enjoyed the peaceful, laid-back vibe. Both the adult only & family pools have swim up bars & the staff were so attentive & friendly here. Watching the sunset from the adult pool was amazing! Breakfast was good & filling & the waiting staff were very helpful. They were able to accommodate the vegan diet well at breakfast & also had a couple of options that could be made vegan for lunch & dinner. Si Como is a short walk to local restaurants, shops & an ATM. The beach is walkable but would take a long time as there is a very steep hill that seems to go onto miles, leading down to the beach! The hotel offers a shuttle bus to / from the beach at set times, which took 5 mins, or you could easily get a taxi. The reception desk will happily arrange trips for you, and we booked a couple of good trips through them (Damas mangrove boat trip & full day waterfall tour). We treated ourselves to an amazing massage in the spa, and it was one of the best I've had! Would very much recommend a stay at Si Como whilst you're visiting Manuel Antonio 👌

Be prepared that there were a lot of uphill steps to get around the resort, and go to the pool / resturants or reception desk, so Si Como may not be a good optiom for anyone with mobility issues. However, this didn't affect our stay but I did find it challenging when the sun was beating down

We loved our stay at Si Como No! There is not a bad place to sit in the entire resort (stunning views, beautiful grounds, and wildlife everywhere). The rooms are well equipped and include a safe (which I highly recommend placing all valuables). The activities were legit and run by experts. The breakfast was delicious with many offerings and the restaurant was high quality. Service was excellent and the wonderful staff made our experience amazing, especially Marco, Nelson, and Omar who we felt were the super stars in this establishment. We just got back from our stay at Si Como No, and I can honestly say it was one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. The rooms were super spacious and clean, the ocean view was amazing and we had a couple of parrots who lived on the roof of our balcony, we also got monkey visitors ones What really makes this hotel stand out, though, is the people — every single staff member was so warm and genuinely kind. Their energy is what made the experience feel so special. We were a bit worried at first about the rainy season because our iPhones showed nonstop rain the whole week, but in reality, it was sunny almost every day. It usually only rained in the evening or overnight — honestly, it was perfect. Plus, traveling in the off-season meant no crowds, lots of peace, and everything felt calm and relaxed. The kids loved the pool and the bar Couldn’t recommend this place more. We’re already talking about coming back.

Very friendly staff! Always means so much when the staff care and they did! The swim up bar and the drinks were good. Breakfast had a wide variety and very good. We loved that we could sit on balcony while it rained because there was an overhang. We loved that we could keep the balcony doors open with screens closed so that we could listen to the rain at night. The pillows, blankets and mattress were plush. The pools, room, and restaurant overlooking the ocean was nice! When my rent a car got a flat they helped speak with the rental company, when our tour guide was late they called. Juana offered an amazing empanada cooking class. She is great people :) My wife really loved the resort and I picked it out for our honeymoon so that was awesome!

It’s perfectly located with a beautiful surrounding. My daughter loved the pool that was a big plus on the list. The breakfast is lovely and the view everywhere is wonderful. We saw a lot of animals and just sitting at our balcony we watched so much birds and other animals. They have a lot of activities like Yoga, Cinema and Salsa classes. The Happy hour is a big plus on our list.

The rooms are super clean and well maintained but a bit old fashioned. The stuff at the bar could be more engaging and it would be lovely if there would a possibility to have a jungle walk down underneath the property. The restaurant is pricy but that’s everywhere in that region.

The view was amazing, facilities and amenities were enjoyable. Staff and beds were the best we had in all of Costa Rica.

Our room was right next to the road/parking lot. The noise from buses and motorcycles was noticeable. Also a little strange to have people at check-in who could see into our room. Yes, we could close the curtains, but then you can't see the view you pay for. The bathroom could use some stronger lighting, but could say this about everywhere in Costa Rica. We had a morning at breakfast where they forgot about our order and it took 50 minutes to get food. Our 3 and 6 year olds were past the point of no return by the time the food arrived. No effort to make amends for the mistake. Unfortunate.

Beautiful property in the jungle. The rooms balcony overlooks the jungle and a view of the ocean. Every morning we had tucans and hummingbirds on the trees infront of our balcony. The breakfast was marvelous with lots of options to choose from, also very kid friendly options as well as local choices. Coffee in the room was great, and they even gave us a complimentary wine bottle. The kids pool was a big hit with our kids, and it had a swim up bar which was nice. They had a movie theater playing kids movies every night which was nice for the nights we didn’t plan any activities. There was a shuttle to the beach and national park, as well as access to a butterfly Garden. Monkeys, iguanas and various birds can be seen on the hotel grounds. The staff was exceptional! Very friendly and helpful.

Nothing! It was great. Unrelated to the hotel: The only thing to make sure you do, is book Manuel Antonio national park tickets in advance as they book out very quickly.

A perfect setting to experience the Pura Vida way of life and the Manuel Antonio area. Being surrounded by rainforest, its sounds and all the wildlife made for a magical stay. We saw squirrel monkeys, heard howler monkeys in the morning & night, had an iguana visit us on our balcony and saw so many types of birds including Toucans and Red Tailed Macaws. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful for our every need. We enjoyed both pools and loved the Rico Tico restaurant setting to see so many monkeys. I suggest getting up at sunrise to see & hear as much as possible. The monkeys only seem to pass through early in the morning.

We stayed in a Deluxe room lower on the property and it was in need of an update. I stayed in a Superior room 3 years ago and it was much nicer and higher on the property so we were able to see more wildlife from our balcony. This didn’t detract from our stay at all however, so if a Deluxe room is all that is available I still highly recommend staying.

Si Como No was a fantastic place to stay for a few days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and remembered our names when we went for breakfast (which was delicious). The views from our room were beautiful, we saw toucans in the tree and a sloth from our balcony. The two pools were great, it was nice to relax by the adults pool and it wasn't too busy. The onsite restaurant is nice and you can also walk to various other restaurants and bars. I wish we had stayed there longer! It was probably our favourite place of around six hotels in Costa Rica.

The best place to stay in Manuel Antonio! It is located close to restaurants but away from the chaos of the middle of town. Also an easy shuttle ride to the beach. But the best part was the STAFF. They were so helpful with arranging tours and stepped in to help when a guide from a private tour we had arranged to the park didn’t show up. We also loved the family pool and the dining experience by it. There was an adult only pool as well which meant that families could relax and not feel we were bothering adults who didn’t want kid energy around. Very relaxing stay!
