Everything we expected except :- the following

We were under the impression that the room had a micro-wave (as we noted on one of the websites). We needed a mirco-wave due to a medical condition my wife has. The lady was very polite until we found out that they don't have micro-waves. I said we can't stay here then. In the end she managed to aquire a micro-wave from the restaurant. NOTE :- In this day & age and price, surely micro-waves are a standard requirement. Also, when it rains (which it did), water pooles directly infront of the unit door we were in, as well as the adjacent unit door.

The room was as expected - which is better than it sounds! Hate (with a passion) when the room is not as 'good' as the photos show - but yours was - which is excellent! Large room which is fabulous and new amenities which dates hotels all the time.

Only the price (surprise surprise) but it did mean we stayed for 1 night instead of 2 and moved on, I'm afraid. I think for where it is its a little steep - after all you don't have much going on around you. And too be frank, after driving through Anglesea for the first time in a while and seeing the Great Ocean Rd Resort I'll be looking at that next time as there is a lot more to do there as well. But this is not saying we did not enjoy the stay - we did!

Love the Mid Century Modern style. Nice pool and great location.

Property doesn't quite live up to the marketing hype. Upselling from woe to go. We just wanted an overnight stay but got a few texts re the spa and restaurant. Fair enough but it was only one night. There were a few spiders in the bathroom and the whole place didn't look as great as the pictures. Sorry, but you need to deliver what you promise. Pool wasn't clean.

the entire place is SOOOOOO nice! its got a palm springs vibe and is so clean and neat. It felt so cosy staying there. Loved we could park for free onsite just outside our room. its a shame the weather wasn't nice because that pool looked so inviting! we even loved that there were fun coloured robes, rather than the traditional white that all hotels have to offer. Beautiful kitchenware, again coloured and fun not just clear, and even had adairs towels! Loved the board games in the room and the lounge chairs too. Seriously exceeded our expectations! Walking distance to the pub across the road (which you can get takeaway drinks!) and the nice greek restaurant next door. I was here for work this time but will definitely be back for a leisure stay!

The breakfast option wasn't amazing for $45.. Just a loaf of bread with some spreads, wouldn't have booked it if I knew thats what it was at the time, but booked for convenience because we needed to leave early that morning.

Pretty much everything - fit-out was very nice (modern and coastal-themed), bed was extremely comfy, internet was very fast, guide that was accessible through the QR code was handy, loved the fact that there was a pool and bar attached to it.

There were only a few things that could have improved the stay (these are quite minor) - input to the TV was very sluggish (to the point of almost being unusable), would have been nice to have a small dining table to eat a proper meal at, and a hairdryer and a microwave would have been useful.

Beautiful surroundings amazing atmosphere and awesome pool! Loved having a bar at the pool and a fire pit for the nighttime. Spa retreat was so fun and relaxing, we very much enjoyed our experience. Great TV and internet. Very comfy bed. Very friendly staff and housekeepers. Still our fave spot in Aireys Inlet!

Our room as located next to the bin area which was a little noisey and made for a poor view out the bathroom window which was disappointing for us given that we had booked well in advance for a three night stay. We also would have liked to have the option for after hours snacks and the restaurant beverage selection was limited. The milk for coffee we had to request and was not replenished each day at housekeeping. The overall pretty happy.

Facilities were exceptional and the availability of pampering and dining on-site was fantastic. Our room was beautifully decorated and the sun kept us cosy. Surroundings were quiet and the birdlife varied. We fed the birds by hand. So special . A fantastic place to relax and unwind. The lighthouse tour nearby was a treat.

Only two minor details one of the glasses 🥂 had not been cleaned and the mattress protector had a previous guests coffee spill on it. Perhaps defrost the freezer in the fridge.

The room was exactly like the photos online. Clean, with modern furniture and lighting. The room itself was situated within a unit style block with a car spot for each unit. Bed was super comfy and the little extras offered in the room made it stand out against any other accommodation I’ve stayed in.(Streaming channels, cocktail maker kit, Nespresso coffee machine, cards and games, a couple of books, high quality body/shower products). The accommodation also had a pool with a bar, and an amazing looking day spa (I was unfortunately unable to see for myself as it was all booked out!) Staff on reception were super friendly and helpful. Check in and out was easy, the place sits next to a French restaurant and opposite a pub/brewery. Short walk to Split Point lighthouse and shops not too far away either. About 3K from the beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly highly recommend.

There is a little noise from people moving around the property as you do have neighbours being a unit style property. Definitely not a hindrance though.

I just needed a cheap room to stay at while doing a couple of hikes nearby and this place well and truly exceeded my expectations. The room was bright and modern with all of the extras that make your stay extra comfortable. It’s in the best possible location in town with all the restaurants/cafes and the beach close walking distance. I didn’t use any of the spa facilities but can guarantee I will upon return. Staff very welcoming also. It feels like a great little community.

That I hadn’t been stayed there sooner!

We stayed at the Sunnymead Hotel after driving the Great Ocean Road from Port Fairy. The hotel is a great stop for those making the same trip! The rooms are stylish, comfortable and are well equipped. A lot of the restaurants were closed by the time we arrived so we enjoyed a drink and some dinner in the Sunnymead restaurant which was lovely. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend staying here.
