To be honest, when I pulled up to the property, I was a little concerned about what it would be like. When we got inside, I was more than pleased with the room. They have completely updated the rooms and they are very well done. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. We had seen before we booked that people commented on not being able to get TV service at all. It was still the case when we came. That was the only thing I would say they need to fix. That’s way too long to not offer TV to people. They did offer us a discount because of the TV, but just be aware if you want TV that you would want to double check if they have it. Overall, a wonderful stay.

From the outside, it looks like a 50's motel. But the inside has been renovated and updated very nicely. We were arriving just after their office closed, so they called us and did the check-in over the phone and made the whole process easy. We only stayed the night, but I would stay there longer if needed.

We were coming from the north, and Google maps took us through a lot of very dark back roads that wound around. Who knows why? I would recommend checking your route before just trusting Google to get you there!

Our room was very lovely. The room was clean and looked very aesthetically appealing. The beds were comfy to and the blanket was warm and comfortable. The wifi worked well to we brought our roku from home and it connected and played with no issues. My fiancée really enjoyed the coffee station. The shower was very nice we brought our own shampoo and conditioner and body wash which they do provide but we prefer to bring our own. The toilet was clean no stains or anything.

Honestly the parking lot could be more spacious for people with trucks. And the lock on our door didn’t work to well and it didn’t lock from the inside people on the outside could open our door if we didn’t have the dead lock secured.

I admit that when we pulled into the parking lot, we were all a little concerned that Taos Motor Lodge had misrepresented itself on the website. Thankfully, we were wrong. We got to visit with an adorable dog in the office while waiting to check in. He was soaking up the attention. What a lovely, quaint place they have here. The moment you step through the door to your room, you'll be happy you booked here. The rooms are updated with nice, modern furnishings. There were five of us, and my brother almost felt like he had his own room out front because the living room with the pull out couch was separated from the bedroom by a half wall. The bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries. I ended up purchasing the mug that was in our room because I liked it so much. Our bed was comfy and the room quiet. Plus we were close to many restaurants. My brother appreciated that he could grab a cup of coffee in the office in the morning. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

If there's any way to serve some kind of food for travelers in a hurry in the morning, it would be appreciated. Even just doughnuts or muffins or something. Also, it would be helpful to ensure that you have the same number of towels and washcloths as you do guests for each room. We didn't have enough washcloths and went to get some from the office the night we arrived but were told that we'd have to come back in the morning because they were in the washing machine and the office closes at night I guess.

Clean, nice remodel with a modern shower set up. Good coffee. The staff did well on a Christmas day.

The address given was vary hard to find. MapQuest could not find it. Google had the area but also could not navigate to it. Bing maps similar issue. We were able to identify and navigate to nearby businesses. Then we found it. The location is on a major road so this should not be an issue, but is. Management needs to fix this. The major motel chains are on top of this. The Apple TV set up was buggy.

I like how update the rooms are. Well the whole place actually.

Office person not so friendly. Codes didnt work on either rooms had to have a key. There is a coffee maker but no sugar. No iron or iron board. No microwave in our room or my daughters. One ice machine that being said there is a microwave but in the office which has different hours not set so your out of luck if you want ice in the evening. Parking is tight hard to get out at times.

The location of Taos Motor Lodge is excellent. Close to where the High Road hits highway 64, so easy to find from many directions. The scenery is amazing. Close to lots of activities and restaurants.

The beds were comfortable for a couple of 60 year olds in good shape. Our 85 year old companion had a difficult time with the low, soft beds. We were on the first floor since climbing stairs is difficult for her, and we were told the higher bed frames were on the 2nd level. The other disappointment was the shower. It water did get nice and hot, but the pressure was very low.

The location was perfect for skiing and was close to downtown restaurants. The suite room was spacious for a family of 4. We were happy to have a king bed and a queen bed. Having a mini-kitchenette was also very nice. There were 2 TV's as well.

The kitchen could have had more dishes and utensils. We would have liked to have more blankets, but the hotel was warm. Overall, we would stay again.

Very Clean and a good value for the money.

Not sure about the automated check in and check out process. Ended up checking in with the staff and everything worked out great. Very nice. The night before I left I checked and asked if I owed any thing and was told everything was done. I prepaid for my stay. They asked me to try the self checkout. When I went to do it. It said I owed one penny, so I just disregard, and wasn’t able to complete the automated check out process. I did get a nice e-mail, Thanking me for my stay. I personally liked working with a person. Seems better to me.

The first night was an add on to my reservation for the second night. I wound up in a tiny room. I asked the lady in the office if the room I had initially reserved could be cleaned first so I could move in early. She understood and was very helpful and called me about an hour later to tell me my new room was ready. That was about 10:15 AM. I felt that was far above and beyond normal service
