Great location in the centre of old town. Nice spacious room with great view over the river. The light in the room was beautiful and the bed was great.

As this was a work trip for me - the room was missing a chair to sit at a table. I was staying for 7 night - and I did not get refill on the vanities in the room, the room was not vacuum or the glasses changes - until I complained. I also did not get toilet paper refill. I left the room at 12 one day and I did not get it cleaned that day. If this is a policy of a four-star hotel -- then they should inform their guests (limited cleaning, no refills and you need to let them clean before noon) -- or they should look at how their staff is working.

Pillows were too thin for me, asked for another (great staff who were really helpful) but received another thin pillow. No other negatives so recommend this hotel.

Lovely spacious room in a great location. Service in reception was exceptional.

Restaurant service in the evening was snobbish. Also, second courses arrive before you finish the first. This happens routinely at both breakfast and dinner. It feels like it is done for the convenience of the kitchen with little regard for the customer.

The room was more spacious than it seemed in photos. The bed was really large. Very tasty breakfast (from the menu). We had to check out early, so the front desk prepared us a nice breakfast box for our last morning. The biggest plus was the location - in the very heart of the old town.

The room needs some renovation and polishing up a bit, however, nothing major. It is still very interestingly designed. As mentioned elsewhere, the bathroom does not offer much privacy, but it is not a problem if travelling alone or as a couple, which was the case for us.

Everything worked smoothly, from communication, parking instructions, check-in/out. Walking from the nearby public parking garage (additional 40Euro for 24h) to the hotel with light luggage was easy despite the rain on that day. No complaints at all about the staff and the overall hotel. Breakfast selection is excellent, highly recommend including it in your stay. Had booked a Junior Suite (Room 26) overlooking the Ljubljanica river and promenade, with comfy bed, double windows and solid blackout curtains. That helps block out the noise from people downstairs at night and daylight if you like to sleep in, but....

But there's one thing that was very bothersome: The room (26) had a very noise air supply vent that could not be switched off. It's probably connected to the main ventilation system in the hotel, making a constant, irritating whooshing sound. In such comfortable room with soundproof windows you don't want to feel like you're sleeping in a cabin on a noisy ship, especially at this price level. I urged the staff to resolve this, as it impacts the sleep comfort of the guests. Let's hope their technical team can resolve this.

Good location

We by mistake booked one day early so six months early asked to have the date switched. Instead they made a new reservation but did not cancel the first one. They would not refund any money so we paid for both reservations. So it was double price. Different person at the desk every night. Our room was very small, nowhere to even out a suitcase. Our travelling friends had two different rooms and they were huge so they do have reasonably sized rooms.

The whole experience was exceptional. A beautiful hotel in the perfect location next to the river, the breakfast was amazing being able to choose a specific breakfast, I had eggs and avocado and it was such a high standard. Those same high standards were delivered the night before in the hotel restaurant, all meals were exceptional. The roof top pool was also perfect after a long day walking in the heat. We also thought the reception staff were exceptional, offering to carry my parents suitcases who are older, they also arranged a little green car to pick us up and take us with our bags to the station. Every single part of our experience was outstanding, my mum said her Veal meal was the best of our 3 month Europe travel trip! Thank you so much for such an incredible experience, Ljubiana was made a highlight of our travels due to our stay at your hotel.

What a fantastic hotel, with the best location in the city. The staff were so professional, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and fun. One staff member Kirill made our trip, the knowledge of food, wine and very high service levels was second to none, he wouldn’t be out of place working in one of the top hotels in the world. The city is walkable and mostly pedestrian as well, enough to do for a couple of days, a must do is a trip up to Lake Bled, this place is simply stunning. Get a bus there from the the city for £1.50 return, takes about one hour each way, you will not be disappointed, take your swimmers as well.

Absolutely nothing.

The hotel is in great location, has great Micheline star restaurant and the breakfast was spectacular, definitely Micheline star too :) The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The hotel is situated in pedestrianized area so Taxi can't drop you at the door, you would have to walk 5min to reach the hotel. If you have a heavy luggage, you can book free small shuttle service, please check with the hotel.

The standard hotel room (16 sqm) is more suitable for single occupancy, it has everything you need but for couple i would advice to book bigger room. The hotel's swimming pool is cute but small, more suitable for a quick dip rather than lounging around.

The staff all were so helpful & friendly. They couldn't be better. Clean. Loved the fridge bar. Clean sheets. Extra coffee or tea when we asked 4 it. Stored my luggage for me.

We had no control over the heating system. I hate heating the outside because you have to open a window to cool off the room. Also, with the open window, you hear the street noise. The next day someone came & adjusted the heat & I could sleep better. But 25 degrees is too warm.
