Location is just 500 m from bus station Medan Kidd, a bus to Aman Jaya Express Terminal, price is quite cheap 4 a privacy air con room..dining area with fridge, microwave, toaster,( iron utensil (stolen)/ironing board... clean toilet hot shower...

This hotel consists of a number of single compartments spread over a couple of male/female segregated floors aimed squarely at the solo traveller. The room I stayed in contained a single bed with a firm mattress, a bed sheet, duvet, metal cabinet/wardrobe (no hangers), a large towel snd plenty of charging points.. I was very happy with the minimalist set up as I am out all day and only use the room I'm staying into sleep. This place is probably not for you if you want to hang out in your room for long periods of time. There is no fan or air conditioning system in the room, instead each floor has its own air conditioning unit with rooms receiving the cool/warm air via gaps at the top of each room. From my observation over 2 my nights stay it was warm in my room until around midnight when the cool air conditioning kicked in. At this time the duvet was needed. From my experience, the system worked well and I had no problems adapting to the change in temperature. On my floor there were a number shared, toilets, bathrooms and separate sinks sufficient for the number of rooms on the floor. The bathrooms were clean and in good working order with powerful hot showers There was also a common room with a TV, table, chairs. fridge, microwave and a hot and cold water dispenser. I had originally intended to stay one night but was happy enough with the room to extend my booking to a second night, which was good decision as Ipoh as a destination deserves a couple of days of exploration. If in Ipoh in the future would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really. However, because of the gaps in the partions by the ceiling one can hear your next door neighbours, so that is something to bear in mind if thinking about booking this hotel, but nothing a set of earplugs and an eye mask can't solve. I used both and I had a great sleep on the both nights I stayed there. I particularly liked the firm mattress, but again, this might not be to everyone's taste. Lastly, the room is small so strategic placement of gear is essential.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Bus station KIDD, Sri Iskandar.

I like the location, Price 4 now dining room with sofa set , refrigerator toaster microwave, hot n cold water dispenser , clean bathroom hot shower,my own little bitty privacy room, comfortable bed, steel closet lockers...my favorite navy blue color curtains...

Now that they adjusted Aircon there's nothing I can complain Abt..if I did then I will be a sinner ,hv 2 learn how 2 appreciate/grateful 4 the good people Almighty Father sent

Stuff was really friendly and helpfull. Property has everything needed (hairdryer, microwave etc.). Room was clean and nice and there was locker. Hotel other quest was all males but I did not feel uncomfortable or faced any issues here.

The area is a bit questionable. I wouldn't walk outside alone at night time. At the day time no problem! The rooms had a gap between walls and ceiling so that air could flow. However, this resulted in all the sounds coming from other rooms and the room was not dark at night.

Price, location, clean environment is quite dining area with fridge Hot/Cold water dispenser, toaster, microwave,sofa set , television set, clean bathroom hot Cold water shower n little bitty privacy room with comfortable mattress pillow,quite classy towel n soap....

With that price One cannot,b 2 demanding/greedy ....

Perfect for what we needed, and at the price you really can't complain. Essentially, this is a big dorm with private rooms. As you might have read from some reviews, there's about a 6 inch gap above all of the walls so you will hear others rolling in bed or maybe snoring if you're unlucky. Didn't bother us too much but others can be heard. It's really nice that there's a common area with a fridge, toaster, drinking water machine and other basics to share. Great location, just on the edge of Little India. Would stay here again if on a budget in Ipoh.

Not so much a dislike, just a bit confused as to why the cleaning staff clean the communal bathrooms at around midnight. We found the lights/noise to be a little disturbing but nothing major.

What you see is what you get with this place. It’s super budget but you do get your own space which is more than can be said for most hostels. The location is right next to the train station and old town which is ideal. I can recommend this place if you want to save some money and aren’t fussy

Just bear in mind that it is still a hostel so even though you have your own space, the area is shared and you can hear everyone else on the floor. Not a problem for me, but important to understand beforehand

Very cheap. They separate men and women in different floors, which is great. Bed is clean and comfortable and the room gives a good feeling of privacy. The AC is good. The common area is spacious and nice. Good location.

The place needs more cleaning. Bathrooms look like they aren't cleaned for days, but it wasn't too bad because we were only girls. Cant imagine in the guys floor. No toilet paper. There's a woman with night terrors that screams a few times a night staying there. Hopefully they'll take care of that, otherwise their rating will keep dropping. Wifi doesnt work.

Overall clean facilities provided. Kitchen area, free water dispenser and common lounge. Near to bus and train station. Helpful staffs. Pricewise good deal. Although it's a thin partitioned room it's an individual room with single bed.

You will hear noises from next building all day long.
