Great staff, and fantastic, friendly service. Rooms were a bit worn but very comfortable - beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

Nothing that we didn't like as such - very limited WiFi, but this is very clearly communicated on the site It's a bit further out from Jasper than expected but still quite reasonable. Sign directed all dishes to be washed (or $25 fee would be charged) but there was only a bathroom sink and no dishwasher liquid that we could find - worried about state of hygiene for dishes/cups/cutlery in thise conditions

The room was beautiful especially with the antler chandelier and lights. It was clean-rustic, with log beds and storage shelves. Nice kitchen temperature, with all we needed. There was a large triangular window and vaulted ceiling, which added to the light and view of pines to the room. Very very nice.

The thick pillows made my neck hurt, as they bent my neck forward. Also, no healthy snacks were available in the office, and no breakfast was available. We had to go into Hinton for breakfast, and that took over an hour due to slow service. Hinton has a grocery store, so we bought some meals there and had them during our stay.

Found this last min as our previous jasper accommodations cancelled due to the fires and it definitely was a blessing in disguise. Lovely separate queen beds. Cute spacious cabins. The staff were great. Bathrooms are small but clean. Cute little 'kitchen' area with kettle, microwave, fridge, teas/coffees, cutlery for breakfast. Lots of outdoor seating areas to read/chill. They also have dvds you can rent to watch a movie at night! so nostalgic and lovely. Lots of parking space. There's the nearby town of hinton and a small Wild Horse provincial park for easy trails. Quiet. There's only wifi in the main reception, so definitely helps you unplug.

It got a lil stuffy inside the cabin (even with the window open) and the AC unit was too loud to keep on during the night. A small portable fan would've been nice. If you are located on the second floor, the stairs aren't the easiest thing to carry your luggage up. Other than the main lodging area, it's not massively well lit so just be aware if you're taking a night stroll. Location isn't the best in terms of proximity to major hikes/attractions.

Jasper Gates is a fantastic RV site and we wished we had stayed for longer. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the start and gave us plenty of information about the site and who to contact for assistance. We had an issue lighting the barbecue and Luke came straight to help. We hired a sited RV which was spacious and well equipped. There was a good sized fridge freezer so ample room to stock up. The bathroom is small as would be expected and the hot water tank would not have been sufficient for 3 adults to shower so we used the washroom that was very near our RV which was very clean with plenty of hot water. There was also a chill out lodge with sofas and tables where you could relax or play board games etc. We didn't use it as we sat around the campfire but it's a great idea and not something that is common in the UK. Hinton, with various supermarkets was only 15 mins drive away and the brewery which had good food and beers was a 2 minute walk. We would stay at Jasper Gates again and would definitely recommend it!

The mattresses on the beds were a bit too thin and hard for our liking but are probably standard for an RV

We had a wonderful stay at Jasper Gates Resort. The setup and atmosphere were serene, and the cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed. The resort’s facilities and amenities made for a comfortable and relaxing experience. Although it's located a bit far from Jasper’s downtown, the peaceful location more than made up for the distance. Perfect for those looking to enjoy nature while still having the comforts of a well-maintained resort. Highly recommend it for a quiet getaway in Jasper National Park!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property—it was all great!

Conveniently located just outside the entrance to Jasper NP, making it very easy to drive to Icefields Parkway southbound or to Saskatchewan River Crossing East of the Rockies. The resort has easy (late) access and parking in front of room. There is also a small playground for the kids.

The sink was not in the bathroom but in the room. Since we had a late arrival and early departure, there was nothing not to like for the rest. We just noticed that the resort charges extra if the dishes in the room are not washed upon departure.

Room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having a brewery which served great beer and amazing food next door also helped. Easy parking and very helpful / friendly reception staff.

Nothing though the neighbouring town of Hinton was a terrible with just roadside multinational food outlets. We drove there and drove straigh back.

Furnished very nicely. Bedding comfortable. Easy to find.

Had trouble connecting to Netflix etc as it is not normal as there is an extra step due to having to go through hotel site even though booked privately. The host was not able to sort while we were there. We could hear people walking about above our bedroom when we woke early in the morning. The rest of day it was quiet. Using the shower is hard for disabled as over bath and a bit slippery. No handholds to help exit bath

A few years ago we stayed in a cabin but didn't like it. This time we booked a room and I have to say it was a good surprise. The room was ok, clean overall ( some dust here andd there behind the furniture nothing crazy). It was comfy and quiet. For the price, it was definitly a super deal! A brewery opened at a walking distance and a pizza truck. The food was delicious, the place is beautiful, there is an outdoor firepit, highly recommend. Place is busy though The hotel is bit further than Jasper but I find that this road is absolutely fantastic with wonderful view + you have high chances to meet animals there, so definitly worth the extra drive.

Nothing honestly. Maybe the room could be cleaner but it was really just dust, the place was still ok maybe they can also put a sponge so you can actually wash the dishes

Unique stay near Jasper. We didn't want just another hotel room, so staying in a cabin was really lovely and felt fitting for the area. The cabin was well maintained and fitted out, and it was so clean. Great shower and all the things needed for us to use the BBQ one evening and sit out and enjoy the fresh air. All in all, a great stay and would highly recommend it. We ate dinner one evening at the Stone Peak restaurant (a 10 min Uber ride away) and highly recommend that too. Nice to have a good restaurant nearby (we got an uber). Thanks Jasper Gates Resort for a memorable time in the Rockies.
