This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel so you could say I'm pretty well satisfied. Good breakfasts, comfortable bed and bathroom facilities. I also had a dinner for the first time - an immense pizza, very tasty and my only regret I had to leave a bit of the bread as my stomach couldn't take any more! last time I had problems with the lifts but either they have improved or I've got the hang of them.

Bit of a route march from the lift exit to my room but I suppose that's the luck of the draw, Anyway I need the exercise. as probably noted las time there is a bit of a design fault in the bathroom - the toilet roll gets dripped on by water spilling over form the wash basin.

Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet as it was on a higher floor at the back of the hotel.

I can understand having to pay a small charge if you request an early check-in in advance but we arrived an hour and a half before official check in and enquired , on the off chance, whether a room was ready , which there was, and was charged £10 for early check-in. I was willing to pay that rather than wait an hour and a half for the room but I don't agree that this was a fair policy if the room was already cleaned. I've not experienced this at any other hotel. If a room is ready why not allow check in?

I spent two nights in the hotel during my training in Northampton. I arrived quite late, around 8pm, check in was quick and efficient. My room was on the 4th floor. There are two lifts in the hotel - they work quickly. In the lift you have to punch your card to move. The rooms are very easy to locate. My room was very clean and great for me for training. The bathroom has a shower, lots of mirrors, there were fresh towels as well as shower gel and shampoo which was a plus. The floors were clean, I could walk without socks. In the room there was a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside lamps, TV... very comfortable bed and fresh bedding. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful the hotel was despite the fact that it was in the city centre and it was the weekend. In the room there was a wardrobe with a few hangers and a kettle with tea and coffee. I recommend the coffee from the machine downstairs - very good. Hotel staff nice and helpful. Check out also very efficient even at 5 am.

As for the minuses, there is definitely no safe or mini fridge in the room. You couldn't put drinks to keep them cold or snacks. The only TV channel works - the internet doesn't work practically at all, you can't even watch Netflix on the TV. I used my own internet and watched on my phone in the evenings. I also didn't like the breakfasts. Luckily I didn't have them in the package because I only used them once - I don't recommend it. y You pay £12 for a "buffet" - the buffet only includes cereals, oatmeals, ham, cheese, bread, scrambled eggs (powdered), bacon, mushrooms (probably the best), sausages, hash browns and I think tomatoes, a few fruits and two juices. Terribly weak for the price of £12. The best thing about the breakfast was unfortunately the coffee.

the room was rather simple but that was expected. I think the highlight of my stay was the staff- everyone was smiley( but naturally) and helpful. In the evening the heating didn't work so I went at reception to ask for the heater, within a few minutes the male staff came to investigate and get me the heater, then another came to sort it out completely. I appreciated they were quick to sort it out while the room was getting warm with the heater. In the morning, Kristina was super helpful the next day when checking out which saved me time and hassle. I don't usually like to stay in hotels but this was a pretty pleasant experience.

As I mentioned the rooms are pretty standard so they were clean and the staff was great so you can compromise on that. All was clean and I appreciated the kettle and hot drinks. Breakfast was also pretty standard, with a lot of variety to choose from. One thing I would personally appreciate is a small bottle of spring water with breakfast, I didn't see water there, only juice.

No frills town centre Hotel. BUT excellent value for what I paid. Spacious room, clean and bathroom cleaned and drinks re-stocked every day without having to ask (hotel house keeping excellent). Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast perfectly acceptable. 3 minutes walk from the train station.

Maybe have a look on the roof adjacent to floor two rooms as old socks and cigarette butts outside my window.

The hotel is strategically located, extremely close both to the railway station and the town's centre. The room was big and clean, the bed was very comfortable and overall the hotel met our expectations. We didn't try the breakfast, but we were told by other guests that the bar and breakfast were both worth it. The staff has been very friendly and helpful.

We didn't have issues, except for the noise coming from outside at night time. We had to leave the window open during the night because it was hot outside and the room was boiling, but the noises coming from outside were incredibly loud. We did find some earplugs in the room, but I can't use them. So, sleeping was tough for a couple of days. Then it all turned for the better once the temperatures dropped, and we were able to keep the window closed and the room was perfectly silent.

It was comfy, serene, clean, spacious and had a desk which really helped.

I was surprised to find that complimentary water wasn't provided upon arrival, as is customary in many other places I've been. I asked a staff member about it, and they informed me that guests are expected to use the tap water, so they don't offer bottled water. They suggested I could get water at the bar on the ground floor, which was quite a distance from my location. Unfortunately, there's no room service for water, which made it rather inconvenient.

The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and very approachable. The hotel was easy to find and in walkable distance to town. The breakfast was nice, small selection but cooked well not dry or over cooked.

Parking was not included in the price. However £8 per 24 hours so not too expensive. Small selection of breakfast options for the price (£12.50). We we have expected the juices, pastries, and selection to be a bit more varied/better quality.

I was able to check-in late. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom spacious just like the room. Always came back to a clean room.

It’s probably just a me thing, but the room service moved my clothes. I’ve set them out on the chair / on the desk, because I’d be leaving the following day. I came back to all of my things being moved to one side of the room. Nothing was gone and the clothes even folded(!) but I just didn’t like the thought of people moving my things around, if they weren’t on the bed.

Nice room, cleaned every day, Good tea & Coffee facilities. Comfortable Bed. Big TV with lots of choice. Plenty of Wardrobe and Drawer space. Friendly Staff

No Mirror on desk/dressing table so difficult to blow dry hair. Plug socket not near enough to beside table. Room was a long way from Lift. Would have liked a Bath/Shower. I like a comfy chair to watch TV. Only Scrambled Eggs at breakfast so I went out to Jennies down the road to get Fried/Poached
