The staff were amazing, by far the best part of the stay. The room itself had a super comfy bed, a lovely deep bath, and a beautiful outlook to the golf course and mountains. I also really liked the heritage style of the rooms. I highly recommend having a spa treatment as the spa at Milbrook is one of the best I've been too!

The sound proofing wasnt the best and when the upstairs room used their bathroom the noise it made in our room was so loud you had the pause the conversation. The pictures of the rooms also showed a fireplace which wasnt the case for our room.

The staff were amazing and very attentive, nothing was a problem at all. It was great to have the pool, spas and restaurants all right there. It was my birthday and there were some chocolates and a card when we arrived. The staff will take you into Queenstown, Arrowtown or Ayrburn on the shuttle all completely which was great. The restaurant was incredible. The flavours of my lamb did a dance in my mouth, out standing food and absolute credit to the chef. The peace and quiet was wonderful.

The pool and spa area needs a glamorous upgrade they look a wee bit tired. We understand paying a premium for our room as it’s the whole atmosphere that you are getting but I feel the rooms (deluxe studio) could do with a bit of upgrade as well. The bed was a bit hard so even a mattress topper would have been nice.

The most comfortable, beautiful stay. We are so glad we decided to stay out of Q’town and enjoy the absolute peace and quiet and incredible scenery at Millbrook. We looked forward to coming “home” every night to the beautiful fireplace, the most comfortable bed and the ensuite with bath and heated floors. Can’t speak more highly of our experience with Millbrook! We will absolutely be back and telling everyone who will listen that this is a must!!

Facilities, scenery

Attempted to change nights from 3 to 2. Unable to change dates successfully on your app. Contacted Millbrook approx 2 weeks before dates but was told to go back to Booking.com I told reception on arriving that we were staying 2 nights only. She said she would sort it out. On leaving, was charged for the 3rd we didn't stay. This was $620.00 to Millbrook even though they had been informed several weeks earlier. I was not impressed.

Absolutely stunning setting, amazing golf courses, wonderful helpful staff. Can't be beaten for its location and scenery. Our apartment was very spacious with two huge bedrooms and bathrooms. Well well-equipped kitchen and the washing machine and dryer were a bonus.

When we checked in we were told that the apartment wouldn't be serviced for the duration of our 3-night stay and offered a $25 per night reduction in cost. This was a bit of a surprise for a luxury resort - I would have preferred the clean towels and a quick vacuum and rubbish taken than the small price reduction. Whilst lovely and large, the apartment lacked some of the comforts that you'd expect from a resort of this calibre. There was no air-conditioning or fan so in the middle of summer there was no airflow so the apartment was hot and stuffy. Also, no block-out blinds but a shutter that let light in very early in the mornings. We would have loved some Fever Tree tonic and more exciting Kiwi snacks in the mini bar. The health club was looking tired and spas were out of order.

Amazing location, such beautiful grounds. The staff were all wonderful. Great little outdoor area and very quiet. It was awesome to have a washing machine to use during our stay and a well equipped kitchen in the suite.

The chairs and table in the suite were definitely looking a bit worse for wear and could use an upgrade! The bathroom was lovely and big, but looked like the toilet and shower could do with a deep clean.

Nice accommodations; wonderful shower; quiet, serene, and beautiful location on a golf course with striking surrounding mountains. 3 restaurants on property. We visited two and were very happy with the quality of the food and service. Close to Arrowtown with on-demand shuttles. Also had shuttles to Queenstown. Loved having a french press with freshly ground coffee in-room.

I found a certain amount of lack of attention to detail in the room. For example, one of the soap dispensers in the shower was empty, and the remote control on the fire was set at the wrong time, and I could not turn it on. I also thought the mini-bar prices were rather high. At 8am there was a noisy chainsaw running just outside our building, which was rather disturbing.

I was delighted with the hotel's location. It was remarkably quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. The restaurants was a culinary delight. The food was not only delicious but also well-presented, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. I must commend your staff for their exceptional hospitality. Every member of your team was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist, which truly enhanced my overall experience. The entire property is a true gem. Its beauty and comfort made me feel right at home throughout my stay, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and amenities. The only suggestion I would like to offer is the addition of an elevator, as it would further enhance the accessibility and convenience of your establishment. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. I look forward to returning in the future

We stayed with you for 4 nights, 23rd to 27th April. The location is excellent, the surroundings beautiful and the rooms are a good size, warm and comfortable. The food in each of the restaurants was good with varied menus, so something for however you felt at any given time. The walks around the property are breath-takingly beautiful.

Nothing, we enjoyed everything about our stay and could find no fault with the hotel or its amenities.
