Everything was wonderful; from the location of the hotel, to the amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was super clean. The workout room was very nice and recommended. The pool and hot tub were nice… although the pool was not labeled for the depth in anyway. Therefore, if you’re taller than a small child, be careful when jumping in. There’s paid underground parking you can pay for through the hotel. It was $28/night and also recommended as it’s cheaper per night than any alternative options. As well as, secure and safe so you don’t have to worry about leaving something in your vehicle and/or any other concern. Overall, everything was wonderful and I recommend staying here.

Great location, and direct access to the downtown pedway! Enjoyable pool and hot tub on the top floor with a great view. We had a comfy chaise lounge in our room next to the latge window.
The parking is not included, and was sold out when we arrived. There was another parking lot just across the street, which was a few dollars cheaper, but the pay details and daily rates were very confusing. No details posted, and there was no clear daily rate, and the renewal time was at 6am (inconvenient), plus the parkade company texted us in the middle of the night to warn us to leave or renew.

I liked the hotel. Its location was easy to reach from almost everywhere, and the room was big and clean. The view of downtown Edmonton was beautiful.
The amount of toiletries was not enough for two people. They only put one shampoo and conditioner, and it was hard to reach them and ask for it. Although the location was perfect, the number of homeless individuals made us feel unsafe even when we were outside the hotel doors for a second. They have to make their security more secure by having more security staff.

The room was pretty clean and standard. Beds were soft and comfortable but too soft for my partner. Luckily there was a chaise he could crash on. Options for different levels of housekeeping was nice. We had our DND sign up all weekend but they still gave us supplies when needed. Nice view of downtown and very close to all amenities. Restaurant was nice as well.
Parking is $30 a day and it doesn't mention that upfront. Someone in the checkout line mentioned this and got it waived, but they do have signs at the front desk and you have to give a plate at check-in. Rough crowd on the street front. No windows that open for air flow, not even a crack. TV had very limited channels and no "guide" channel. No fan in the bathroom. You need a key card to get up the elevators or onto the floors on stairwell, and the card readers weren't always reliable.

I liked the security for the elevator. You need your room key to access levels so no vagrants can just go anywhere. Staff were great and moved us to a different room when the toilet quit working. Access to the arena through walkways between buildings was great so you didn’t need to go outside. Staff was always friendly. Pool and sauna were great.
Didn’t like having to park across in the bell tower but it’s a busy place and parking is scarce. Lots of street people around outside but can’t do much about that.

Let me start by saying I am NEVER impressed by hotels. I always feel like they are terrible value for the money. However, this was not the case here; Our stay was wonderful! We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary when we booked and upon check in they wished us a happy anniversary and presented up with 2 $10 vouchers to use at the Chop Steakhouse located in the lobby. This was perfect as we were planning to eat there before heading to the comedy show we had tickets for. Our room was huge. Nice and cool with the AC. A great view from the 16th floor. The beds were decent and spacious. And the water pressure in the shower and from the sink were impressive. After our comedy show it was late and heading back to the hotel we didn't find a convenience store to grab some Bottled water at. We were going to use uber eats or skip the dishes to have some delivered but it was quoting a 45 minute delivery time for one app and no drivers available for the other. We called downstairs to ask if they sold Bottled water and they let us know they provide complimentary Bottled water to all guests! Fantastic! I headed downstairs and requested 4 bottles and they were ICE COLD! As a self proclaimed water addict/snob this was such a treat considering we couldn't find water anywhere else at that late hour and we were quite parched! We visited the pool early the next morning before checkout and we're again pleasantly surprised. While the pool and hot tub were truly nothing fancy it came with a lovely view of downtown from the 26th floor. They also had lovely loungers! Not your typical ugly plastic ones either! Overall, our stay far surpassed my expectations! We were super close to our event, our supper was right downstairs, complimentary Bottled water really sealed the deal for me and to top it off the room was an absolute steal of a deal especially being the night of an event at rogers place which is literally right across the street.
Absolutely nothing. It was all fantastic!!

The large open rooms with sunlight throughout the day shining in. 2 large queen beds that were extremely comfortable.
The fridge running all night in the cupboard, where it was becoming very hot and the motor struggling. Looked like I wasn't the only person who turned it off. When I pulled the cupboard away from the wall to plug back in before leaving, found many old tomatoes that had not been picked up by previous guests. - When the reverse cycle unit was off during the night it was still blowing warm air and we would wake up in a sweat about 2am.

Rooms are large, well furnished, although would prefer more traditional furnishings, than a one-armed chaise lounge chair/sofa. Everything worked, shower was great, thermostat easy to understand and control, and the bed was comfortable.
I prefer a down pillow. The pillows at the Sandman are large and chunky, and don’t provide good support. Having one or two down pillows in the closet as an option would be great. I think there are more comfortable synthetic pillows that mimic down pillows. I put out the tag for room service on the 2nd of 3 days but did not receive any service. We had trouble finding the restaurant for breakfast. The notices were there but not obvious from the hallway. A notice outside the entrance door would have been helpful.

Great location, especially if you're watching an Oilers game. Walkways/Skyways get you to the arena without ever having to go outside, so there's no need to bring winter gear to the game! Super comfy bed, labeled pillows 1 firm and 1 soft so great option depending on your need. Chop restaraunt is right there and sonic Joey Bell Tower across the street . Nice pool and hot tub on the 26th floor.
Pay parking was $28 but hey, that's cheaper than some places. Hot water tap had low pressure only in the sink faucet

Location - Easy to find the hotel by driving and nice accessibility to the city attractions. Coziness - Clean and cozy room. Facilities - I loved the gym and pool
Breakfast was not included, so I had to pay extra. It's not a big deal, but it would be better if it was included. The coffees in the room were like tea bags. I personally prefer keurig pods because of convenience. But the coffee was not bad. Underground parking lot accessibility was a little bit bothering. I felt like I had to detour to go to my vehicle every time through the lobby. (It is not the hotel's fault. It is due to the initial design of the building) But don't get me wrong, the overall experience, I'm satisfied with the hotel.
