The staff went above and beyond in efforts to be helpful. In particular, I'd like to compliment Marianna, who was already on her way home when we realized we couldn't get the air conditioning control to work properly. She actually turned around from her way home to try to help us. Alexandra, Diogo and Jose were also wonderful. Each of them were very upbeat and considerate and always had a smile. The rooms were very clean and large. The view is outstanding and the grounds were immaculate. The wall of windows was stunning. The white chocolate cookies were heaven. Beautiful property, I would recommend highly.

Breakfast was fine, but the eggs and pancakes were always cold, The chef wasn't present during our time there and so the menu was limited and not consistent with the menu you have posted online. We had trouble with the air conditioning controls and the staff didn't know how they worked either. Alexandra finally found an answer for us on the second day. Perhaps an instruction manual in the room would have been helpful. The hotels we had in Lisbon and Fatima had a safe in the room but your villas did not.

Nice hotel directly at the Douro river with a nice pool area, big garden, restaurant and a bar located at the river. Rooms had been very nice with comfortable beds. Parking spaces available at no charge directly at the hotel. Good breakfast with many choices.

Not much space in the rooms to put your clothes (very few hangers and no cupboard). Service personnel in the restaurant, breakfast area and at the bar was constantly understaffed which led to long waiting times. Also, some of the service staff could need some training.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely location between Porto and the Vineyards of the Douro Valley, elevated and overlooking the river and it's own vineyard (as does the infinity pool!) The rooms are modern and well appointed. We had a room in the original stone building so, as others have said, these are small, but perfectly adequate for us with a fantastic view. There are also new, modern buildings, and separate villas too so, if space is required then these may suit better. The whole place is spotlessly clean and managed by friendly, English speaking staff. Car parking is plentiful, free and secure. The restaurant is small and informal with an excellent menu for lunch and dinner as well as great wines, as you might expect. If we'd had the time we'd have stayed longer. We hope to return to this lovely place on another occasion and explore this region further.

The property is great, and well located. It has a beautiful view on the Douro valley, and it is well positioned if you want to go to some of the river’s beaches around. The room was very nice, and the bed super comfortable. Overall, super clean and pleasant. The staff is great, polite, and helpful. We would definitely like to go back.

The breakfast is a bit poor. Considering the variety of food that you can find in Northern Portugal, we were expecting a bit more choice. Most of it was store bought, and with little personality. The pool is great, but it can get crowded. Most people leave the towels on the sun-chairs and then never show up. Sometimes we had to ask for the reception to remove them.

We spent a birthday here and the staff was so sweet to help make the day even more special. They made sure the champagne I had pre-ordered was there when we arrived, the table I booked for dinner was by the window and the candles in the dessert were there without me having to remind them. What a wonderful place this is, in the countryside of Porto overlooking the river and vineyards. Beautiful room, great view, good breakfast and nice bar with a view to the river

Really good stay at Quinta de Santo Antonio. Great facilities and comfort level and a superb room with a wonderful view. Friendly staff who were more than helpful

A little hiccup on arrival was very soon resolved. The manager owned the problem and made sure we were completely satisfied with the alternative offered - which were.

A car is essential and most places to visit are a good 40 minutes away,but if you’re happy to just chill this place is perfect

We stayed for four nights in one of the standard villas which was perfect for all our needs. I requested a cot which was kindly provided and in our room upon arrival. The manager who checked us in was so helpful through our stay. The villa was spotlessly clean and housekeeping would come everyday. We found all the food at the hotel to be excellent, whether that be breakfast included in the room rate, lunch by the pool or the evening menu in the restaurant.

Beautiful grounds on the river, nice pool and jacuzzi, and tasteful designer rooms with great views. Excellent breakfast! However dinner entres were a little subpar but excellent appetizer and vino. Overall, the perfect last night in Portugal and easy access to the car rental return location at the Oporto Airport.

The hotel is located by the river, so the views are amazing, throughthout all seasons. It's a great place to escape from the city center and relax. The room was very comfortable and the hotel beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, both on the hotel and the bar down by the river.

The jacuzzi was under maintenance during our stay this time, so we weren't able to enjoy it.
