The rooms are spacious, and the AC works really well considering zanzibar is a hot humid place, It's at the heart of stone town, meaning you have access to everypart of stone town(market, tourist sites, beach). The staff are nice and the breakfast is really good if you make it early😝. Nice sunset view as well💯.

The check-out process be a bit linient, At 10am it's a bit short for checkout, I do appreciate the extra hour given though but trying to charge me 50$ per extra hour after, that's absurd.

The receptionist was super friendly and accomodating. The room was beautiful, comfortable and had a beautiful view.

The breakfast atmosphere was very odd and dissapointing. Staff was uncharming, no nice set up no light music nothing. We waited iver 30 min for egg and pancake and we were the only people in the restaurant. If it wasnt for the breakfast experience I would have rated it with a 10.

The decor of the whole hotel including rooms is just on point. The breakfast at the hotel is fresh and super tasty. Fresh juices, coffee and variety of teas provided. The terrace where the breakfast is served is just wow. The pool is not very big but is clean and not busy so its quite enjoyable. The location is prime. They provide every day 2 litres of drinking water which is superb.

The staff needs to be more proactive and to smile a bit more because they look like they hate to be there. Also they need to organise better during check in. No one can control their flight time. Hotel is of an open type so so it’s very hot everywhere except rooms where ac works perfectly. Also the hotel because of high humidity and lots of vegetation is breeding spot for mosquitoes. Use repellent.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed the breakfast and the view of the ocean was amazing from the restaurant. The staff were also very accommodating with our various requests.

The room didnt have a mini fridge so the refreshments were all room temperature. Which doesn't help when its very hot outside.

Great location for Stone Town with easy access to sights and restaurants. Comfortable and spacious rooms at an excellent price point. Loved that the hotel was in an old part of the Palace

Suggest to give guests some tips about Ramadan - I was told off for wearing my bikini on the way to the pool while inside the hotel. Also important to note that most restaurants are closed at lunch (not at the hotel though). Needed to ask for a map whereas it would have been nice if that was provided at check-in/in my room. I was on the third floor and quite a bit a noise coming from the restaurant overhead early in the morning.

Wonderful location, quiet in the middle of the busel of Stonetown. Great view over the water from the rooftop restaurant.

The front desk was not very friendly, though the rest of the staff was very helpful and welcoming.

This is a beautiful hotel just back from the waterfront of Stone Town. It is up an Alley way from Mizingani Rd. Very efficient reception staff in fact all staff very friendly. There is no lift but great porter service. The rooms were very good but we had the family room and it was massive. It was like a two bed apartment. The shower was Devine, hot with good water pressure. On the 4th floor is the roof Restaurant with expansive view over the harbour., with both indoor and outdoor dining. The food at the restaurant is very good, it takes time but worth the wait.

The hour wait for diner but it is the African way. I think a lot of it cooked from scratch.

Spacious room and bathroom. Air conditioning working well. Good food: the pancakes (French crepe) at breakfast were delicious and the food for lunch really tasty.

The swimming pool is not maintained which is disappointed. Not a lot of hotels have one in Stone Town and they don't seem to take any advantage of it. The chairs and mattress are in poor conditions. Nothing is prepared, you have to go and claim for a towel downstairs, then arrange your chair. And I didn't understand the meaning of the "spa" in the name of the hotel. No menu proposed for a spa/massages, no information about it. I didn't ask as I didn't come for that but I would have appreciated to see what was proposed.

The room and the the hotel in general is GORGEOUS! I was surprised at how beautiful this place was. Even better than the pictures honestly. The A/C was fantastic in the room. It blew freezing cold which was welcoming after being in the humid weather. The bathroom was also gorgeous and so spacious. Amenities in the bathroom was nice as well. Breakfast was nice including a plate of fresh tropical fruit and delicious warm assortment of breads brought to the table and fresh fruit juice options. Very lovely staff in the restaurant. Great view from the roof/restaurant as well! I would for sure stay here again.

The person who was supposed to pick me up from the airport was over 30 minutes late picking me up. I called the hotel and they seemed like they didn't know what was going on at first but said that person was on their way. Once I got to the hotel it was fine. Reception staff overall wasn't super friendly but weren't rude either.
