Aisha from the front desk is an angel. She took me to Forodhani and we got lost in Stone Town. It was an amazing experience. The front desks and the whole hotel crew are amazing people and I’ll for sure stay there when I’m back to Zanzibar.

People were very nice and paid attention to your needs. It was very clean. The relation quality/price was a good one. I liked breakfast, and you can eat the fruit. I did. And had no problems.

Sometimes, it was difficult to fin my way around and mobile connections around the city might be unstable. It would be nice to have a local map printed on paper as you arrive. You need to take a boat to one of the three islands in front of Stone Town, and that costs extra money. On the beach in Stone Town itself, only tourists get undressed.

the property is well located in the center of stone town, 5 minute walk from most places, 2 minutes from Lukhman restaurant and a few rooftop restaurants. the rooms are a good size and the staff is friendly there is an amazing rooftop view, they are still fixing the rooftop but it’s a great spot for sunrise.

the rooms could’ve been cleaned alittle better. there is a communal speaker very close to the hotel so you hear the Islam prayer at 4am in the morning , extremely loud, as if speaker is in your room. the breakfast was basic, by day 3 we were over it

The location is good, value for money. Staff are helpful. Breacfastbis simple but good.

As an old building boutique hotel, no lift is available. A bit inside, so you need to draf your suitcases in an alleyway for a few minutes.
