Great location, directly on the beach. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. There is a restaurant on site as well as other places very close by. A simple room but when you have such beautiful nature outside you don‘t need more! Breakfast was simple but tasty.

A small personal preference: I don‘t like the taste of tap water in Portugal, so some bottled water in the room would have been nice.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is included. The Polvo was superb...far better than what I had in Porto! I'll have octopus sandwich to take with me for my camino lunch. The staff marked my room number on the to-go box and placed it in the fridge for me! I wished I had chosen this place as my extra Rest Day!

Much higher standard of comfort, charm and cleanliness than expected from a 2-star hotel. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Nice location as such.

Do not recommend for anyone walking the Camino. It is waaaaay out of the way. It's nice enough to get to (you walk through fields and small towns, and on the beach) but getting back onto the Camino the next day is very unpleasant (you walk along a major road for a long time).

This hotel is located very close to the beach. It exceeded my expectations for a 2 star hotel. My room had been renovated. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. I ate my evening meal there and it was delicious. Breakfast was a big spread with lots of choices.

The Hotel is very well located- close to the beach and the city centre. It offers simple but renovated rooms which have exactly what you need: modern bathrooms, comfortable beds and quite a lot of space. Breakfast was amazing and the really friendly and helpful. It is a really good value for money and we’ll definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

It was fun to be by the beach and they have different food options that are close.

This is a great place but it is not right off of the Camino, therefore if you are wanting to stay near the ocean then it is a perfect place but we were hoping to have it be a little closer to the Camino. We were able to grab a taxi after a long day of walking.

The Hotel Areias Claras is located in the small town of Amorosa and along the Portuguese Camino Litoral. It's a lovely location, right on the ocean and for a two star hotel, it is very comfortable and clean. In addition, the included breakfast is very nice.

The room was nice, old hotel with beautiful wood stairs, but facilities were modern. Breakfast included and was very good, generous. Bar and restaurant on site which was welcome as the weather was awful

The beds could be improved by a 1 inch foam topper.

Our room was very clean and had a balcony. It is so nice to open the doors and sit outside on a lovely evening. A view of a few local homes. Close walking to nice cafe for lunch and very nice restaurant for dinner with delicious sangria. Provided very well stocked breakfast with cappuccino machine.

This was a lovely place just down from the beach and right off the Camino. The bed was comfortable. The staff were great. It also has a restaurant so you don’t have to go out. Breakfast was included and there were lots of choices.
