Ate out for breakfast but there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a microwave to use if required. The room was very comfortable and The Pelican was the cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed in. Exceptionally up market toiletries. Very close to a variety of restaurants, beautiful beaches, boardwalk and lake. The owners were very accommodating, friendly and only too pleased to be of assistance. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family as well.

Great location, very comfortable rooms and good value for money. The pool with accompanying cabana is an absolute delight. The quality of the accomodation was matched only by the friendliness of the staff, especially the lovely man at the front desk. Bonus points for being able to buy a Dare iced coffee at reception!

Great location close to supermarkets and the Main Street, clean room and nice, although small, pool. Great water pressure in the shower and complimentary toiletries. Friendly and helpful receptionist.

No sink to wash the dishes or fill the kettle (had to do it in the bathroom). Unfortunately a water pipe burst during our stay meaning 2 days of no water but the staff kept us informed of the progress and ensured that the water was back on at night.

Not all rooms are equal - ours (Room 13) had very limited view - because of the sloping site, the view was limited to the car park, at almost eye level. However, it was really a non-issue, as we were out most of the time, Parking space suitable for a small car only. Ironing board surface was not even and the cover did not have a padded backing - difficult to efficiently get a satisfactory ironing result.

Everything... the room was super clean & the bed was very comfortable - good hot shower & location was perfect - Breakfast is not available but there is a Bakery close by for early morning food options... We were greeted with a smile as we arrived late & had a phone issue... we couldn't access the after hours box to get our key & room number - We were saved when a delightful young Irish man came to our aid... thank you!!!

Spotless little motel with super friendly owners, I highly reccommend The Pelican. We arrived with a baby which means lots of gear and extra questions but nothing was too hard for Tom on the front desk. Walked to dinner that night and the water for breakfast the next day. There's lots of good motel options in Merimbula it seems, but we were so happy we fluked The Pelican - we'll be back.

Our room had been updated to a high standard except for the toilet. Otherwise perfect. Actually had a shelf big enough for toiletries. Had a ceiling fan and aircon. Plenty of room and spots for luggage. First motel to have a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle PLUS cutlery and plates. Have thought of everything even a full length mirror. Great location and would stay again.

The property is located in the heart of Marimbula. Everything is within walking distance.. enough said. Rooms are spacious and clean...they have a little kitchenette, which could be useful for some travelers.

It is a motel/hotel. not a resort hotel, this should be understood. Its not that we 'didn't like it'... just a warning for others if they are looking for a 'resort style hotel'

This is one of the best motels we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, very quiet, great amenities including a full sized fridge freezer and huge flatscreen smart tv. The pool area was beautiful too.

Not major, but it was advertised as having an on-site laundry when it doesn’t. No biggie, but we had saved our laundry on the road trip thinking we could do it here.

Motor Inn is central to town, walking distance to shops, clubs and restaurants. Our room was a good size , comfortable and clean making it easy to move around. Pool was fantastic to cool off after a day of sight seeing, with a lovely cabana and pool towels for use. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying at this Motor Inn.
