The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was OK on comfort. Able to park right outside our hotel room door. Close to several restaurants and 5 minutes from downtown. Breakfast is basic: toast, bagels, ceral, juice, and coffee.

We chose this hotel over another because it is advertised they had a pool. On arrival, it was covered (witerized). I asked if it was going to be open and was told "no". It appears there is no intent on opening it. We stayed 3 nights and had to ask for more towels. I understand staying 1 or 2 nights not getting housekeeping, but at least refresh the linens on the 3rd day. Despite this, we would stay again.

The room and everything in it were clean and functioning. The bed was extremely comfortable. The gentlemen at check in were personable and very welcoming without being concerning. The value was perfect. The fridge was large enough to actually put a bottle of wine and my salad in and actually kept the food cold. I'm going to mention the bed again because the mattress and pillows were perfect. I truly had a great night's sleep. Just what I needed to make for a relaxing experience.

The door keys are actual keys for handle and deadbolt. They were difficult to turn. The bathtub had a bit of a sloped floor that made me a bit nervous. Some things in the room showed their age but it was purely cosmetic. Nothing at all concerning. The cost was half that of Comfort Inn and less than half the Hampton Inn. I'm fine with things being a bit worn for a clean room at that price.

Always clean and friendly owner!!! Our go to always in Mt Airy. Pool not open and may not be all season but we don't go there to swim! A good comfortable night stay with so many restaurants nearby within walking distance and just a short drive to get to attractions in town.

Absolutely nothing! If there's an issue the owner is quick to try to help if possible. The service is so much better than a large hotel. There's no shampoo or conditioner-bring your own. Continental breakfast-quick grab for the road-pastries, jams, bagels, cereals, juice, tea, and coffee.

Looks like a small Inn from the outside. Inside-Incredible owner with a strong sense of cleanliness, attention to detail, person to person communication which is so nice and gains repeat customers. Very clean rooms, frig, microwave, tv, Hot water for showers and bath with hand rails, pool, and very quiet. Many restaurants within walking distance. Little Richard's BBQ, Libby Hill Seafood, Japanese, Coach's, Aunt Bea's Dairy Bar, McDonald's and a Snow Cone Cart in the parking lot as well as Dollar General. A gem in disguise!!!!!!!

The property is owned and operated by him. He was super nice. The rooms were really clean, which means a lot to me because I am a clean freak. All the rooms were updated. There was no carpet so you didn’t have to worry about what “lies beneath “. Right behind the hotel is a dollar general, so great location!

The Knights Inn is a clean, comfortable place to stay on our way from West Virginia to Georgia. It's location is very convenient and it is very close to multiple restaurants. We found Granite City Greenway park and enjoyed walking the trail.

The pool was not open for our stay. It looked very inviting - sparkling clean! But we were informed that it was not open.

We were really surprised by this property, as a 2 star we didn’t expect much but we were impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Although this accommodation lacks a bit of character outside, and the rooms are dated, it wouldn’t take much to lift the decor a bit. The shower was good and again the room was very clean.

Some new bed covers would go a long way.

I was pleasantly surprised at this low-cost hotel how clean and up-to-date the room was. The service was prompt and friendly. The complimentary continental breakfast was also surprisingly good (unless you needed meat and hot prepared eggs which I didn't). The cost was far below all the other hotels in the area.

I’ve stayed in a lot of mid range priced motels and this Knight Inn was the best by far. It looked it had been recently renovated. The rooms were very clean. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Very convenient to local restaurants.

Close to everything!!! Many restaurants to chose from-BBQ-Coachs-Seafood-Aunt Beas-McDonalds literally right near by plus Dollar General in the parking lot for things you may have forgotten and drinks/snacks. Extremely quiet--exceptionally clean room-I would say by far better than any fancy hotel we've stayed at. Having hot water was great!

Not that we didn't like it but breakfast was limited to coffee and pastries. No refrigerated items like cream cheese or peanut butter for bagels. No juices, cereal, or milk for kids. Like I stated though breakfast areas across the street or just down the road to McDonals or 15 mins away in downtown.
