Beautifully restored inn with good restaurant (outdoor seating area is lovely in warm weather) and convenient (to airport) location; nice size, tastefully decorated, comfortable room; very dog friendly; high quality breakfast included. Very helpful & friendly staff at reception.

Weather was unseasonably warm and we were given a good oscillating fan, but it was a bit hot & stuffy as the windows only open so much and then you could hear the Saturday evening traffic on the adjacent road which was quite loud. But this eventually died down and we were able to get a decent night's sleep. Could have used a lightweight blanket instead of the down quilt, also washcloths would be nice.

Nicely appointed twin room, spacious and clean, decorated well, bathroom particularly good, light and spacious with an excellent shower that didn't leak all over the floor, as so may do - bonus. All the lights in the room worked, tick, so again light and airy + could open the window for some fresh air, particularly appreciated in the warm weather. Staff pleasant and helpful. Outside space also nice for sitting out, with easy access straight into Windsor Great Park. Lunch menu pretty good.

Found the cooked breakfast disappointing and unappealing - my half a grilled tomato was so small and mostly stalk. No finesse on the plate. Personally, I like tissues in the room but there weren't any. The outside cushions were not taken in overnight and the tables weren't wiped down after the rainstorm, resulting in a wet jacket.

The pub and rooms are very modern and beautiful,. really loved the green! The bathrooms were so beautiful and really loved the shower and make up light! The seating area outside was really nice with the sunshine and the outside bar is always handy! Staff were nice, food lovely!

There's no air conditioning once you go upstairs to head to the rooms which I find truly baffling... It's soooo hot upstairs and the rooms were like being In an oven! My mum wasn't able to open her window as it was locked!! So could only open the bathroom window and they had a fan on in there but it was sooo hot! The gaps under the door let through too much light and with people constantly coming and going, it was a bit of a nuisance Unfortunately, the beds weren't very comfortable either and the pillows were like sleeping on bricks

From the moment we arrived, this boutique gem radiated warmth and sophistication, striking that rare balance between a five-star escape and the cozy familiarity of a dear friend’s home. Every detail, from the effortlessly chic decor to the soothing ambient lighting, whispered thoughtful intentionality. The Room: A sanctuary of modern elegance. The space was impeccably curated—spotlessly clean, with plush linens that felt like a cloud, and soundproofing so flawless that the busy road outside melted into serene silence. We slept like royalty, undisturbed and utterly refreshed. The Staff: The heartbeat of this hotel. Their kindness wasn’t just professional; it was personal. The housekeeping team greeted us daily with genuine smiles. When we needed a last-minute cot, the manager dilivered it as promised on the dot. It’s this above-and-beyond ethos that transforms a stay into an experience. Breakfast: Freshly baked pastries with delicate, flaky layers, salmon toast sprinkled with poached egg was a treat, and barista-grade coffee that could rival any trendy café. Each morning felt like an energising ritual, served with genuine enthusiasm by the staff. Location & Perks: Nestled in a vibrant yet tranquil neighborhood, steps from charming boutiques and leafy parks. As pet parents, we were blown away by the attention to our furry companion—think organic treats at turndown. In a world where hospitality often feels transactional, this team redefines what it means to care. They don’t just meet expectations—they anticipate them. We left not just satisfied, but genuinely moved. If you crave a stay where every moment feels special, book immediately. We’re already counting the days until our return! A polite note to parents with prams: the rooms are on the first floor and there is no elevator.

Outstanding renovation of this lovely English pub/hotel/restaurant!!! Only 25/30 mins from Heathrow ….and right on Virginia Water Park. Incredibly peaceful, spacious, super comfortable room with lovely en-suite bathroom and great shower. Excellent value which included a delicious choice of breakfast menu…I had the dill and sour cream salmon and poached egg, beautifully presented. Staff are lovely and my little dog was made super welcome as we sat around the open fire in one of the bars. Really special and great value place to spend the weekend or longer!! Oh and parking was also included!!

Nothing!

Feels like it was recently remodeled—the room and the hotel feels modern and up to date. Every member of staff was friendly and made themselves available when needed. My waitress at breakfast (I didn't catch her name) went above and beyond. I ordered the French Toast she came by to let me know she didn't like how the chef had prepared it and was having them remake it. I'm sure it was fine but she was apologetic and checked in on me while they remade it and again after the new dish was served. Great service!

Nothing, it was all great!

First of all, the price was really reasonable. I was worried, thought I should go to a bigger hotel as I was on a work trip but took a chance. Next, the staff were super friendly at every turn (special thanks to Abbie on arrival). The restaurant staff were lovely too. The room wasn’t big but it was beautifully done, apparently just recently refurbished. Very cosy and comfortable as well as Stylish. When I stay at hotels (which is quite a bit), things they drive me nuts are not enough mirrors and long mirrors, not enough plugs and rubbish tea and coffee making/crap shower but all of these were great at this hotel/pub. Only small thing is that the overhead lighting isn’t great on a dark morning when trying to get makeup done! It was very shadowing and one of the mirrors could do with an overhead/light attached but that’s a small thing! Thanks again

The pub and hotel is tastefully decorated and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Check in was quick and easy and we were very impressed with the facilities in the room. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay!

A very small niggle but we went down to try to get a bowl of porridge for our son and a coffee each from the brunch menu after 10am and although there were lots of empty tables, we were told it was a 40 minute wait for the food. The lady we spoke to seemed quite flustered so I’m not sure if it was due to staff illness in the kitchen or something but it was a bit of a shame.

Ok for location very clean, the room was well presented, everything in the room worked very good shower, all the staff were very nice and welcoming and very helpful.

The food wasn’t the best, only had Sunday dinner as our main meal, not much choice. I had breakfast every day. First day the breakfast was excellent, the next 2 days lukewarm. No air conditioning in the room it the was extremely hot in the room there was a fan provided

A great place to stay upon a late-ish arrival at LHR or the night before an early AM departure. It’s only 20 minutes away and, instead of staying at a soulless chain hotel on the airport’s perimeter, you can be in Windsor Great Park and a one-minute walk to Virginia Water (if not familiar, Google it). Rooms are comfortable and mine had a great shower. The pub food is notably better than your average pub fare, only a click below gastro-pub status.

Nothing.
